Description of Work: man responded to phone call and came out to give estimate to fix leaky pipe. was to return the next monday and never showed up or called.

Description of Work: I needed to have someone check the fauets in an apartment that I need to rent and replace a garbage disposal.

+ 0 moreJIM WAS VERY NICE, TOLD ME THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT, I DID GO ON ANGIE'S LIST FRIST BECAUSE I HAVE HAD SOME BAD PLUMBERS IN THE PAST, AND SEEING I'M A WIDOW IT WAS NICE TO HAVE GOOD SERVICE FOR A CHANGE, I WILL HAVE HIM DO MORE WORK FOR ME IN THE FUTURE.
Description of Work: GREAT SERVICE, HE FIXED THE PROBLEM IN 10 MINUTES , PRICE WAS RIGHT, AND SERVICE WITH A SMILE., WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR.

+ -1 moreI called on a Monday morning and received a message machine. I left a message and had a call returned to me that afternoon. A date was scheduled for the following day, 10am, for repairs needed to my tub/shower faucets. At 11am, the plumber still had not shown/called so I called. Once again, I received a message machine and left a message. Never heard from this person again. I called a different plumber.
Description of Work: No service was performed.

+ -1 moreI will never have another plumber while living in Johnstown. He was here in less than 15 minutes (a happy accident but one that was pretty impressive!). He also figured a way to do the repair in a more cost effective manner. Saving me money-on time-friendly-clean AND super professional! He actually charged me less, however, I was so impressed I gave him a tip!
Description of Work: I called them in order to reattach the sink and pipes to the wall in my main bathroom. He went the extra mile and also reattached the sink to the floor so it wouldn't become loose again.

+ -1 moreThis guy (Jim, the sole owner) is AMAZING.. Once I had the dishwasher, sink, faucet, line for the water to the fridge. he comes over the next day. estimates $200.00 to install it all then felt bad the final bill came to $210.00. He was there all day because my house is an older home and nothing ever goes smoothly. Everything was just beautiful when he was finished. 2 weeks later, I was have hot water issues. I called Jim he was there the next day @ 7:00am looked at the problem, ruled out it was a "fixable" problem (detailed information given, clear and concise) gave me a price on a great one installed (50gal) it and fixed my main shut-off, installed a back up main shut off. had everything done and cleaned up in 3 hours. total cost $645.00. This guy is Awesome, he also takes care of my aging furnace. I always call him first for any Plumbing or Heating problem I have, I just wish he did electrical too!!!!
Description of Work: Ok. so it was before Thanksgiving and my dishwasher went out.. I bought one and had it delivered to my house. Since I then noticed that my sink no loger matched the rest of my appliances I also bought a new sink and faucet. THis meant my garbage disposal had to be moved and what the heck run water to my fridge for the ice maker (previously not done). 2 weeks later, my hotwater heater (gas) went out. That I let him buy for me.
