Bottom line? GET IT IN WRITING. I repeatedly complained throughout the summer that the guys weren't weed eating. The secretary got in touch with me, was very pleasant and assured me that she'd write on the work order for them to weed eat but it still wasn't happening. Probably because their first language is Spanish, as I'm fluent and that's what the workers told me. The final mow was in September and in October they billed me $105 stating that my agreement was not for $80 per month but for $40 every other Monday so since September had 3 Mondays the bill was higher. When I complained that my yard certainly was not mowed 3 times and the weeds had now grown extremely high they informed me that if i wanted them to remove weeds that would be extra. I said I certainly didn't feel like they did $105 worth of work, nor did they stick to the original agreement so I wouldn't be willing to pay more than half of that $105. I was told the owner would call me back and try to settle the dispute. Instead they just continued to repeatedly deduct and credit random amounts from any cards they had on file for me every few days until I canceled them.

It's 30 dollars each time they remove snow from our driveway, which seems a little steep, but they do a good job and are prompt when it snows.

Milkies was easier to get in touch with than other Johnstown area landscaping companies that I tried to work with. Still communication was less than optimal when it came down to the details of the job. The workmen were very professional but did not seem to have the right work orders at first. The price for services was shockingly expensive and the actual cost ended up being 10 percent more than the estimate. Two weeks after the weed pulling, I was amazed at how many new sprouts were coming up and found that there was a significant amount of roots left in the ground. Overall it was a negative experience but then again I have yet to find a landscaping company in Jtown that is as professional and punctual.

He provides service year-round. He cuts my grass, rakes my leaves and plows snow on my two-acre land. He does a lot of specialized work for me.
