After seaching and comparing several pest control services we settled on Pocono Mountain Pest Control for several reasons, The First was the Owner, Jim, had been employed by another company and had seviced our house before through them so he was familiar with our house. Secondly the price was better than any of his competitiors. Thirdly he is a local businessman and we don't have to deal with a service call center miles away and wait for a technician to respond. Lastly there was no high pressure salesmanship or scare tactics employed to secure a contract. Now as to the sevice, he arrived on time totally prepared for our situation was knowledgable and thorough applying a pet and child friendly pesticide to the inside of the house and a barrier outside including the eaves and foundation of the house. His contract for service is simple, straightforward and has no hidden fees and per the contract he will come back as many times as neccessary to control any pest that survives the intial application, or the subsequent scheduled treatments . He also says he will not increase the prices of the service, and leaves his schedule open every day for return visits if neccessary. The total price of the yearly contract is less than many charge for a one time treatment. I was impressed by his professionalism, his uniform was neat and his manner friendly and helpful. He spent his entire time here working until the job was done. Overall I was extremely pleased and am glad we chose Pocono Mountain Pest Control. Note: the price I stated above is for the first of three scheduled treatments for a total of $330.00 per year.for our house.
