 + -1 moreJohn came on a thrusday for a quot and the work was done the following monday. Not much to write about they meaused, cut and installed the new siding very quickly. It looks just like the rest of the siding.
Description of Work: Some siding fell off during a wind storm. They replaced the broken section with new siding.

 + -1 moreWe recently decided to upgrade our vacation home exterior from T-III siding to Certainteed Cedar Impressions Polymer Shakes. Once that decision was behind us, then the decision was to come up with a contractor who was not only knowledgable at installing this siding but all the other work that went along with the job at hand. The contractor who we decided on was John Shirk Contracting and we could not have been happier with our choice. It was very obivous from the first day on the job that John and his crew were excellent at what they do. It was like watching a surgeon on the operating table when John was making all those special cuts. All our windows were boxed out and finished off with a beautiful looking trim as well. If anyone has any contracting jobs we would strongly recommend John Shirk Contracting as your #1 choice. You will not be dissapointed as he is a quality craftsman!
Description of Work: Our vacation home was built in 1983 and sided with T-III siding. We decided to upgrade it to something that didn't require painting and went with a Certainteed Polymer Shake. Certaineed sends its craftsman to schools to become certified Master Craftsman in their trade and in looking for a quality contractor I liked what I read about John Shirk along with the fact he did indeed have his Master Craftsmans license from Certainteed. The whole house was done in seven days and now looks like a "new home". My wife and I could not be happier with the work done!
