Nexgen was amazing. They were prompt, their sales pitch was not pushy at all even though I had asked for some prices for things we did not end up doing (siding etc). Replacing the roof took just 2 days, another day for the gutters, and a 3rd day for the capping. I was quite impressed with the recapping given the price (about $500) since he was here all day. The only small issue I had was with the gutters, they used another company and everything looks and works fine, they just left the old gutter bolts everywhere and the downspouts are too long and go across a walkway or into the grass. But very small issue.

Jesse and the NextGen team are absolutely wondeful. I have used them twice and have been very satisfied. The second time I was away on vacation when the wind storm screwed up some of my roof flashing. Jesse had his team there ASAP! They are beyond reliable. They are professional and Jesse is very patient, respectful and warm. The work appears quality and was done in a timely manner both times. I HIGHLY recommend them. We ran into 2 very minor glitches but Jesse has been responsive. Love NexGen!!! It means a lot to be female and trust a contractor. Thanks Jesse!

The service provided by NexGen Exterior was the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. They came out the very next day and completed the work before I left work. Also, the NexGen employee "Aldin", explained to me exactly why the soffit came loose, what he did to fix the problem and what to look out for going forward. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

NexGen was a fantastic company to work with. From beginning to end they made the process of replacing our windows seemless.

NexGen immediately responded to schedule a time, and through email I confirmed the date and time with them. I had adjusted my work schedule to be home and all afternoon no one showed. When I contacted NexGen they apologized as they'd scheduled me for an entirely different date from what we agreed upon. Having specifically confirmed the day, date, and time, and given that they had suggested this date & time, and that I'd had to rearrange my work schedule to be home for this, I had no interest in re-scheduling. They offered to refund me the money paid, which they did very promptly. I gave them a C rating because my overall opinion from my experience is neutral. While on one hand, having my time wasted was a very negative experience, the sincere and courteous way they handled addressing that was very positive.

Fine. There was a particular area of the roof that concerned me and I was told that the roof was not in need of repair.

NexGen did an excellent job replacing our roof and water damaged sheathing. Their price was very competitive; their customer service and professionalism exceptional, as well. We would not hesitate to employ them for any other future work or refer them to friends and family members.

NexGen was excellent from the first point of contact. We received an advertising flyer in the mail and as we were seriously considering getting prices on windows and siding, one of the representatives from NexGen knocked on the door. We scheduled an appointment with Jesse at a more convenient time to discuss the work we wanted to have done. He was prompt and professional. He discussed the advantages of his products, windows, and vinyl siding and took exterior measurements while it was pouring rain outside! NexGen does not subcontract their work to other companies. The work is managed and installed by their own qualified and experienced employees. We discussed our budget and expectations with him. It was an easy conversation without any pressure. Later that night, he emailed a quote to us for the windows, siding, gutters, and downspouts. The quote was very clear and easy to understand what we would pay for in terms of the scope of the work and material to be used. We solicited prices from three other companies and all four were fairly competitive. We took about three weeks to make our decision and Jesse had followed up with a phone call and an occasional email to touch base, again no pressure. Even though they were not the cheapest, although still reasonable and within our budget, we chose NexGen. Our choice was based upon Jesse's knowledge and presentation of the products that they use and several excellent reviews that we had seen on line and through the Better Business Bureau as well as the fact that they self-perform their own work. The work began three weeks later and a crew of 3 employees completed it within two weeks, they also worked the weekend between. A dumpster was placed in our driveway and each day the area was cleaned up and well maintained. They replaced the 20 wood windows with vinyl double hung windows. I was surprised to see that they took their shoes off while working in the house. They were working in their socks and they vacuumed each room in the areas that they were working to replace the windows. They installed scaffolding around two sides of the house and worked safely removing the existing siding, gutters and downspouts. Then they installed the wood furring strips, weather proofing paper, insulation, and vinyl siding. On my own, I purchased a new front light, back deck light, and driveway floodlight to replace the old ones. The crew installed the lights and attached them to the existing wiring. When they completed two sides of the house, they then moved the scaffolding around to the other two sides of the house. When they finished all of the siding, they installed the gutters and downspouts. On a few occasions, I had called Jesse with some technical questions during the progression of the work and if he could not take my call right away, he called me back as soon as he was finished with his current appointment and provided the answer that I needed. My wife and I love the fact that the house looks like new, especially with the colors we chose in the new siding and faux shutters. We would totally recommend NexGen to our family, friends, and neighbors.

My contact, Jesse Bator, was very quick to respond to all requests, issues and queries. There was one problem with what I guess was NexGen's subcontractor for installation of the gutter with gutter guards. Work was reported as done, and I could see the gutter from the ground, but when I got out onto the roof I discovered that the gutter guards had not been installed. But Jesse got a quick response out of them to finish the job. I was glad NexGen roofers recommended removal of the old unused chimney when the workers discovered how precarious it was. There were a few instances of garbled communication between management and the roofers, but all was straightened out quickly. Not about NexGen but about Angie's list: I am not happy with Angie's List for requiring passwords with my e-mail address. What is that about? And the ABCD check list is confusing because the bubbles do not line up with the letters above.

Jesse and Chris are terrific to work with. Their respective work crews for the siding and gutter projects did impeccable, timely and meticulous work. They didn't stop working until they were satisfied with their progress for the day. Everything looks great and we are very pleased.

I had a leak above the doorway of my second floor bathroom for over a year that was progressively getting worse. I was referred to NexGen by a friend of mine. I called Jesse from NexGen in the morning & he was out that afternoon to assess the damage. He quoted me a very reasonable price after I was fearing the worse & his team was out the next morning to fix. It poured that very night & when I woke up in the morning not a drop on the floor. Jesse even followed up with me the next day to see how the roof held up during the storm. My days & nights of dodging rain drops in my own home are over! Overall NexGen was professional, courteous & got the job done quickly. Great crew that I wouldn't hesitate to use again on my home or any of my businesses.

They are an incredible company to work with. They worked with us on price and what we wanted. The job was finished as scheduled. They cleaned up everything. I kept their sign up on my lawn until April or May.
