Affordable Weaver Painting

Description of Work: Wayne Weaver and his crew did a very good job painting the exterior of a 60 year old home. They used a superior paint, better than I expected, Sherwin Williams "Super Paint", which helped produce a very good finished surface. They prepped well, but did not sand some of the rough edges well, but they did remove chipped or peeling to a good firm surface. I would use them again. (I have been in the construction project management business for 45 years and I have used many painters while building 15 million sf of projects)

Description of Work: We called Affordable Weaver Painting at the beginning of last week and scheduled an estimate for that same Thursday. Wayne the owner, came out to do the estimate and after liking the price we decided to use his company. Due to another customers cancellation we were able to have the work started the very next day. A five man crew showed up ON TIME and even took off their shoes as to not scratch out newly refinished hardwood floors. The job took two days to complete (which included scraping off the popcorn ceiling) and looks great. Not one spot of paint on the new floors! The crew also did an excellent job cleaning up all of the dust that was created. I would definitely hire Affordable Weaver Painters again and would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Description of Work: From the very beginning, Wayne was a pleasure to deal with. We were under pressure to get the job completed quickly since a new floor was being laid in the room being painted and new furniture was being delivered. After contacting Wayne and explaining the situation, he came out the same day to give me an estimate and scheduled the work on two days that were convenient to me. In addition to removing wallpaper and painting a bedroom, he painted some exterior wood work and doors and also restrained a greenhouse window. Wayne called me the day before the job was to start to confirm all the colors that we had selected and to tell me when to expect his crew. Four painters arrived right on time, and the foreman (Marvin) introduced himself and explained that I should feel free to speak directly with him if I had any concerns. The crew was extremely neat and courteous. Drop cloths were put down everywhere that they needed to walk or work. At the end of each day, they cleaned up thoroughly and vacuumed the area. I am extremely pleased with the end results and will us them again!

Description of Work: I just bought a house and needed ten rooms painted, four with wallpaper removal, three with trim to be painted. I had three bids. Two of the bidders showed up in company trucks and spent lots of time making measurements, and took a couple days to email their bids to me. Wayne of Affordable Weaver showed up in his car. I walked him through the house to show him what I wanted done. Then he spent a few minutes by himself and handed me his bid of $5800. After a few days the other bids came in: $5500 and $8000. I chose Affordable Weaver (I didn't choose the low bidder because he didn't have lots of good recommendations like Affordable Weaver). I wound up paying a few hundred extra because I switched to a washable paint. His crew showed up on the appointed day at the appointed time, and worked for three days. On the walk-through with the crew foreman, I noted several small problems: paint drips on wood trim, paint pulled up where tape was removed, etc. The fourth day one man came by to fix all these things. They were all fixed on my second walk-through. I sent the check for the balance due to Wayne.

Description of Work: The service provider, Affordable Weaver painting did everything timely , in accordance with the written estimate and were thorough and competent. Communication before, during and after the job was clear and pro-active. Good work, performed timely, clean and neat. This was an exterior painting job on our home.
