Company arrived punctually at property and was very professional. Provided estimate on the spot (unlike most other companies who promise the estimate and never send it). Price was good but have no comparisons. Very impressed with company's ratings and credentials but was not able to make the final decision regarding the job at this time.

Does- -best that I can state is to be very specificas to the work that you require to have done. Show the estimator what needs to be plaster, primed and painted.

I loved him. I would have hired him in an instant. It’s just then I got an estimate from somebody else that was $1000 less. It was significant. Wayne Weaver does seem like he was extremely knowledgeable. He had so much experience. You could just tell that he knew what he was doing and he was going to do a great job. I really liked him. He’s a really nice guy. As I said I got an estimate from somebody else, he’s the son of a neighbor who has a lot of experience doing paintings. He does painting on the side and that ended up being $1000 less. I could not rationalize it. If it’s only been a couple of hundred dollars I might have just gone in with Wayne. He was excellent in terms of punctuality. I definitely would consider having him out again for quote in the future.

We contacted Wayne after receiving 3 other quotes for the work on the 4 bedrooms that ranged widely in price. He was quick to set up an appointment to provide us with an estimate the next day. He quoted us a price - with the advertised discount - comparable to the lowest quote we had received for the 4 bedrooms. We had not previously gotten an estimate for the living room and dining room work but due to the good estimate, we inquired about those rooms as well. We ended up being quoted $1,000 for the 4 bedrooms without the ceilings (we provided the paint), $1200 for the 4 bedrooms including the ceiling (we provided the wall and ceiling paints) and $500 for the living room and dining room including the ceilings. We agreed to the $1700, plus the cost of the wall paint for the living room/dining room (3 cans) and the ceiling paint for the 4 bedrooms/foyer/living room/diining room (3 cans). The crew started working 2 days after we agreed on the $1700 + paint cost price. That day, we received a phone call stating the price would be $2000 with the paint. We were quiet sticker shocked and still disbelieve that 6 cans of Sherwin Williams paint cost $300 - the company surely upcharged us for the paint. We were very pleased when we stopped by that evening and found the crew still hard at work. They had completed the walls/ceiling in the living room, dining room, and 3 of the bedrooms. They informed me they would have everything finished the next day. The next morning I received a phone call around 9:30 a.m. from Wayne telling me that the painters were finishing up. He asked if I could bring the $2,000 check over to the house and give it to his "partner". I arranged to drop the check off at 10:45 which I was told would be fine because they would be packing up or almost done packing at that time. I arrived at 10:50ish to find the crew not only not packing up but not even nearly done with painting the trim of all the rooms. The crew was not using any painters tape while painting the white trim that abutted the newly re-finished wood floors. We were very specific with Wayne that we were hiring professional painters because of our own fear of getting paint on the new floors if we attempted it ourselves. I foolishly left the check for the full amount with the "partner". I was very concerned because although they had completed the bulk of the work they had not even gotten 1/2 way with the trim work. My concerns were well founded when I returned that night to see that the trim work was completed haphazardly including paint on the walls (newly painted) and on the re-finished floors. Upon closer inspection, we also found that the painters painted over wall outlets including painting over the children's safety covers! In many places, they painted (color) supply and return vents and in all the bedrooms they painted the telephone cord onto the trim! When we now attempt to remove the cord, it looks like the trim was never done. In some areas the trim was not sanded down. The painters cleaned their brushes in the kitchen sink (stainless steal) and used a dust mop (not suppose to get wet) to clean up after themselves. On the newly finished wood floors were black scuff marks the origins of which are unknown. We immediately called Wayne with our concerns. He was concerned enough to immediately schedule an appointment to view our concerns. He did attempt to explain that his crew painted wall outlets because they likely had been painted before. Wayne showed up a few days later - at our convenience - to review the concerns first hand. He brought someone with him who did attempt to get the paint off the floor in the dining room. There was no attempt to touch up the places were the white trim overlapped onto the colored walls. He recognized that the crew painted the telephone wire onto the trim but explained since it was stapled insome places they had no choice. This clearly was something that we should've been notifiefd about as we feel that the painting could have been done under the cord not over/on top. He did offer to pull the cord out but was afraid the trim would be ruined. When we pointed out how the problem should be resolved the response was, "That would be a lot of work". In the end we feel that this crew did an average job on the walls painting but paid no attention to the little details (i.e. remove outlet covers) and rushed the trim to get out of the house after being paid. The job looks like any average home owner would be able to do themselves if they had the time. We paid the money to have professionals do the work to insure the newly finished floors would not be damaged and yet they were. In the end for our troubles, we agreed to accept $100 back (a 5% refund) and call it a day. The $100 probably just reflects the overcharge we paid on the paint. In summary if you just want walls painted for the cheapest price and quickly this might work for you. The fact however that painters tape was not used should give others a fair warning.

We had a great experience. He has been here several times because he painted the basement and the exterior of the house. What stood out about him was his responsiveness, his reputation on Angie’s List and his pricing. They were very good in cleaning up after themselves which was important. They were very clean, very respectful of the house and our contents and the exterior. They have good communication and are customer focused. We would use them again in the future if needed.

Received quotes from four different companies and Affordable Weaver was competitive w/ the other quotes I received. The professionalism of Wayne Weaver was the tie breaker in awarding this job. The individuals that work for Affordable, Weaver are clones of Wayne; extremely professional and courteous. At the end of each day the job was cleaned up to the extent where you couldn't tell that we had painters in that day. Affordable Weaver lived up to and beyond every expectation that we had. Please note that we lived in numerous areas through out the country and had numerous houses painted over this time and by far our best experence has been recently w/ Affordable Weaver. Lastly, note I don't normally write these follow-up notes due to time constraints but w/ the job that these guys did I felt obligated to write this review. You won't be disappointed if you award your next paint job to Affordable Weaver.

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism, work ethic, honesty & punctuality of his 4 workers. They arrived between 7:30 & 7:45 every morning, and never stopped during the day, except for a 20 minute lunch break. They completed the entire job in 3 days. They were extremely polite, and impeccably honest. Wayne has his men bonded and insured against theft. I felt very comfortable leaving them alone in the house when I went to the store.

They were extremely professional and when I called they set up an appointment to work for us in their busy schedule. I will use them n future.

Efficiency, three painters at all times...quiet, neat...returned furniture when finished.

They were excellent. We had somebody planned to come before they came but they never showed up or called. Then we looked up on Angie?s list and found Affordable Weaver Painting. They came the same day evening and started the work the next day. They were neat, respectful, and wonderful. They cleaned everything up.

From start to finish it was excellent. We were able to set an appointment over the phone for an estimate and the next day a crew as at our house. They were clean, professional and we hardly new they were in the house. Upon completion, we received a call to ensure we were satisfied and I would say 100%.

This was a definite win for us. Wayne from Affordable Weaver was prompt, courteous, and responsive. He worked with us from the estimating stage to final completion. The crew was outstanding. They were on-time, hard-working, and respecful of our property. The final product was very impressive. I am very particular about straight lines and wall defects and they really did an outstanding job of making everything smooth and beautiful. Not only was this a job well done but Wayne also worked with us on the budgeting. We were between settlements on our old house and new house and they made it possible to have the job completed in the timeframe that we alotted. We will definitely work with them again...we have some exterior work that needs to be done when the weather is nicer!

I contacted Wayne after seeing his company listed here on Angie's List. He was extremely fast - he arrived at my house to give me a written estimate within an hour or two of my initial phone call. His prices were reasonable and his crew came out within a few days. They were punctual, extremely fast and neat painters. I would recommend them to anyone. They did an outstanding job.

I went with another company that had more feedback. This company was prompt and willing to get the job by renegotiating the price. They were quick to come out and were very accommodating. They were persistent, but not pushy.

My entire townhouse needs to be painted. I called Wayne Weaver among others and he came over the next day. He toured the house and gave me an estimate immediately. He was quite professional and I felt that he and his staff would do good work. However, I still had two other painters to meet.. In the end I chose someone else although Mr. Weaver left a good impression.

They are very neat. They work very quietly and they are very courteous (they don't allow foul language or radios). They are very respectful and do a nice job.

They fixed dryrot and did a lot of painting within our home. They did such a great job, I ended up having them paint the outside as well. Their price was very competetive and beat everybody elses. They respected my home and did not destroy anything. They cleaned up after the job was done and I am very pleased with how the job ended up. I would recommend them to anyboy.
