Affordable Weaver Painting

I had a good experience. Wayne picked up paint and primer for me, the work was completed in one day. I liked the result.

After scouring Angie's List, I contacted Affordable Weaver for an estimate for painting several areas in our home. We approached the project with some trepidation as we have always done our own painting in the past. We decided to use a professional painter because of the wallpaper issue and the height of our stairwell. Mr. Weaver appeared at the time he promised for the estimate and provided the numbers in a written proposal on the spot. Mr. Weaver was personable and professional. After reviewing several proposals from several of Angie's List top rated professionals, we decided to go with Affordable Weaver. This company was more expensive than our other top choice, but we decided to go with them anyway. Part of this decision had to do with the fact that we will need exterior painting done in the future, and we decided that if we liked their work, we may use them again for other projects. The crew arrived at the appointed time, reviewed the areas to be painted and got right to work. I was anxious because we have brand new carpet and hard wood in many of the areas that were to be painted, but the crew took care to cover everything adequately. They also took care in moving much of our new furniture. One problem we encountered during the process was that they found that the wall paper had adhered directly to the sheetrock in many areas making removal difficult. We came up with a plan to address these areas and we were given choices about how we wanted the finished product to look. While Mr. Weaver was not on site, we spoke several times during the painting as he wanted to be sure we were pleased with the work being performed. Mr. Weaver explained that he feels that his crew is an extension of himself, and he takes great pride in the work that they do. The crew was courteous and hardworking. We have children and dogs, and the painters were very accommodating as I needed to squeeze by them many times to attend to the household. The crew worked diligently from 7:30 in the morning until late afternoon with only a short break for lunch. Three days were allotted for the project, but they completed it in only two days. In all, we were very pleased with the results of this project. It was a big undertaking for us, especially right before Thanksgiving when we knew we would be hosting much of our large extended family. The house looks beautiful, and we received many compliments from family and friends. We will definitely consider using Affordable Weaver in the future.

I called Wayne for an estimate and he came right over. We scheduled the job within 2 weeks of the estimate. Crew came in at 730am , covered all of the furniture in plastic and did not make a mess at all. They took down window treatments and left everything spotless when they were done. Their attention to detail was good as was visible on the trim and detailed work on the built in.

We are very happy with the work performed by Affordable Weaver Painting. The entire process was easy and efficient. Wayne Weaver came to our home where we pointed out the locations that required painting and he provided an estimate that was in line with our expectations. Our home has a lot of areas with fine detail that require careful attention that we were a bit concerned about. The two workers who provided the service were very professional, clean, and courteous. After the project was completed, we received a follow-up phone call from Wayne to make sure we were satsified with the job. We are very happy with the work that was done, and we would definitely consider them for additional work in the future.

Mr. Weaver arrived promptly for the estimate. He is a friendly and light-hearted person. He explained how the work would be performed and it was clear that there is a detailed focus on proper prep work. His quote for the front portico was $800 for the painting and $200 for the Sherwin Williams exterior paint. This quote was less than an earlier quote that I had received from another painter for the same work ($1200). Mr. Weaver also quoted on painting the concrete walls and concrete floor in my unfinished basement. The approximate square footage of this space is 1600 sq. ft. The estimate was $2400.00 for the labor and $1500.00 for the specialty paint needed for this purpose. I hired Mr. Weaver for the porch painting because I was very impressed by his thorough approach, professionalism, and friendliness. I did not go forward with painting the basement at this time because I have scheduled some other renovation work that will conflict with the basement being painted now. However, his quote for that work was right in line with another quote from a basement waterproofing/repairs firm. He said he would call me the last week in October to arrange for the painting to be performed the first week in November. Due to Hurricane Sandy he called a couple of days later, but he was immediately ready to purchase the paint and the work was arranged for the following day, Saturday. His team members arrived promptly and were very friendly. The porch was done and the door was painted all within 4 hours. The men cleaned up after themselves and the paint job looked great, giving the house a very fresh and tidy look. The men forgot to pant the interior of the door frame, but this was quickly rectified the day after I called Mr. Weaver to discuss it. I was very pleased by the professionalism and expertise of this company. I encourage anyone with a painting need to call on Wayne Weaver for an estimate. Their work is great.

l I called the company for an estimate, Wayne (owner) came by as schedule (might have been the same day). I thought the price he quoted for living room, dining room, hallway, 3 bedrooms and bath including ceilings and trim was fair and hired him on the spot. The work was scheduled for to begin about 1 month later. The crew came on time and started working. Estimate said 2-4 days, never did I think it would get done in 2 days but the painters are finished and the house looksgreat. There were a few rooms that needed repairs and they look really good.

Wayne was very friendly and responsive. The two workmen were amiable and punctual.The original quoted price was high, but we compromised on the price. Get more than one quote. The work was done when it was supposed to be done. I specified a different paint for some of the work, and that was the paint that was used. Thus far, it was a very nice job.

Affordable Weaver Painting is an outstanding company and thanks to their beautiful work, our house looks amazing! The entire exterior of our house is absolutely gorgeous! From the moment we contacted Mr. Weaver, everything went great! He came by and we reviewed the work to be performed and signed the contract within days. Lucky for us the paint we needed was on sale that weekend, so Mr. Weaver offered to get the paint right away, which saved us hundreds! The actual start date was right on schedule and the work was completed in less time than originally estimated! Marvin and his crew arrived early both days and their work ethic was impeccable! From the moment they arrived, everyone was friendly, polite and went right to work, putting the coverings on our front bushes and deck, wrapping light fixtures, carefully moving planters and chimes, and started cleaning the siding. By the end of the first day, they had already completely prepared the siding and applied the primer to the whole house. Before they left, they cleaned up and neatly stacked the ladders. Reviewing the work that evening, we had actually thought they had finished the back of the house and found out the next day, that it was just the primer! The next morning, they, again, arrived early and went right to work. While they were all painting, you could hear a pin drop! When I arrived home that afternoon, they had already finished and re-hung our mailbox and house numbers! Great work and great people! We will definitely use this company again and have already recommended them to a friend who lives in New Jersey! Thank you, Wayne and crew, for a great job and may God bless all of you, too!

This is an exceptionally good company. They are so efficient and meticulous.

I first used the contact us function on the website but decided to call after I didn't hear from them. Once I did, it was smooth sailing. Wayne, the owner, set up a day to come out for an estimate and arrived on time. He gave an estimate right then and there so we were able to decide and schedule right away. He even itemized everything separately so we could basically pick a la carte what work we wanted to have done. We didn't have enough finances for everything we wanted to do so we picked to do the first floor for this first job. Wayne was so genuine, courteous and respectful from the very start and we felt comfortable trusting him with the job. Wayne also let us schedule for a Saturday which was super helpful with work schedules. He even said he would come Sunday if they didn't finish. The 2 workers came on time on the scheduled day of work. They were also very courteous and seemed quite knowledgeable. They were also very respectful of our furniture and household items as they moved them all to the center of the rooms so they could get started. We also have animals so we had to stay in the house while they worked and there were no issues with that. Once they started removing wallpaper they realized there was 3 layers of paper so that slowed down the original plan but the workers kept us informed and updated throughout the entire process. They were very professional and focused. Sometimes workers that come to the house might speak about personal issues to each other loudly making things sometimes awkward but these guys were all work and all professional the whole time yet also very approachable and warm. They really made us feel comfortable and confident having them in our home. Because of the issue of the wallpaper that no one could have foreseen, the job took a bit longer than expected and lasted into Tuesday, but Wayne kept us updated the entire time and was very honest with us so we were able to adjust our schedules accordingly. The extra days also added some extra cost but again, Wayne was very honest and courteous with us and very reasonable. The outcome was a beautiful job. Really just terrific work. Clean, neat lines, we found one drip and they took care of it right away. We are so happy with the finished product, we can't wait to save up more money and do some of the other things we wanted to do in the house! I contacted Weaver Painting because he was on the list. I also contacted a painter not listes. Weaver Painting was more money but with the recommendations on Angie's list I felt the extra expense would be worth it. I was contacted by Wayne and he was very courteous and respectful. He said he would have the job done on Saturday but if he had to finish he would be back on Sunday.; I don't know of any painters that would come back on a Sunday to finish a job. The job was done in less than a day. They were professional and clean. Weaver Painting gets an "A" for a job well done. I would definitely hire them again for any painting job.

The Affordable Weaver crew was here five full days. They did an excellent job and we give them the highest rating possible. They did everything we asked them to do and more. We are very pleased with the finished work. Well worth the investment.

Before deciding upon Affordable Weaver Painting, we got four estimates from companies on Angie's list. Except for one company all the prices were close to one another. The deciding factor was meeting and working with Mr. Weaver. He came out when promised to give us an estimate which was detailed and thorough. He was very personable. In just a short meeting you knew that he cared and you felt confident that his company would do an excellent job. He gave us a estimated date when the job would be done. There was a month of rain and the job had to be delayed several weeks. He was in contact with us during the entire delay giving us updates. This communication was appreciated. The painters came on time and when promised. Once the painting was started it was done within two days. The painters were professional and very proficient. The did all the painting that was agreed upon. In addition, they did little things that we hadn't even discussed. They painted our back door rail and cellar door. We even asked them if they would take down some old gutters before they started painting and they said no problem. They did a great job cleaning up. Once finished we could not believe how great our house looked. Our neighbors keep asking who we used. Of course we said, Affordable Weaver Painting. We couldn't be happier with the job done and with the entire experience. .

We called Wayne Weaver in for an estimate to paint 3/4 of the interior of our home. He gave us a reasonable estimate and was very polite and accomodating. His crew arrived on time every day and with everything in order. They were extremely careful while in the house and dealt nicely with roaming dogs and family members while they worked. They cleaned up after themsleves and would go back over any areas we though might need a little extra attention. All in all they were fast, professional and reasonable. I really was pleased with the service and pricing we got. They did everything they said they would do on time and courteously. I highly recommend Affordable Weaver Painting!

We just bought a new home, and needed help to finish painting before we move in. Wayne came out for an estimate right on schedule. The estimate was fair for the services requested. His team began painting within a couple of days of the estimate and finished the entire job within 3 days. There were two men who worked non-stop for about 8 hrs each day. Both very hard working and polite. They were thorough in their work. They paid attention to detail, asked questions when any problem arose, and answered any question that I had. I would recommend Wayne and his team.

We hired Affordable Weaver painting to have our house power washed and painted. Wayne arrived on time and talked with us about the job. He is very polite and courteous. Wayne provided us with an estimate and later helped us select a color. Throughout the process Wayne was accessible and friendly. After we picked a color, his workers showed up to paint the house and did a wonderful job. They were very courteous and friendly. The workers kept everything clean and the house looks great with a fresh coat of paint. They also painted some extras and applied some caulking at no additional cost. Wayne came promptly and gave us a detailed estimate. His workers arrived on time and completed the work in record time. They were very curteous and helpful. They even took down andhung a number of very large paintings which were placed very high on our walls. In addition they had to move a grandfather clock, a delicate curio cabinet and a old, old, very large palm plant.

This was a pleasure start to finish. I got 3 estimates, all of which were almost exactly the same. In fact, Affordable Weaver was $100 higher than the other two, but he offered to do several extra things without charging me and, to be honest, I liked him. My house is not easy to paint and my father was upset at having to move everything out of his room and having things chaotic in his space. The painters were pleasant, cheerful and responsive about getting his room done first. They did a beautiful job- prepped the bedroom ceiling, which had some old peeling paint, and walls carefully, so that it looks great. They were careful about hardwood floors and even carpeting that I told them was being replaced, so they didn't need to worry about it, and cleaned up carefully. Wayne called after they finished to check on my satisfaction. I have been painting this house for 30 years and I am never going to do it myself again!

The entire project was completed to our satisfaction. Plaster walls were repaired and sanded smooth. Prep was done and quality paint products were used..

We hired Affordable Weaver to paint our outside deck, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The price was fair and Wayne was great to deal with. The crew came on time and worked very quietly. The deck and rooms look wonderful and they cleaned everything up and put all the furniture back in the right spots. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Affordable Weaver Painting. From the first phone call to last day of job, this company was extremely responsive, available to answer any questions, professional, courteous, and clean. Wayne came over to provide free estimate. He is a very kind man and spent at least 1/2 hour with us. Initially I only wanted a ceiling in one room and an entire bedroom painted. Wayne's pricing was extremely competitive and allowed us to expand our project to include additional rooms. Wayne's crew arrived on time and worked hard for two days. They were friendly, and did really good prep and painting work. They completed job on time. The crew respected our property and kept job site very clean. We are very happy with Affordable Weaver Painting and will use them again.

They were great. We got them off of Angie's List and they were fantastic. Their price was fair. They were very neat and conscientious. The owner was really nice. The guys did a great job. They were very efficient and everything came out perfect.

They are very special, clean, they love you and will do anything for you for the work they do. They are very polite. They are reasonably priced. They do what they are supposed to do.

Working with Wayne was very easy. He was very professional. He was easy to get an appointment with and he gave us the estimate the same day. The best part for me was that I was going out of town for a long weekend, with 2 of my dogs and I knew that it would be great if the painting could be done while I was away. Wayne's team was able to start the morning left and they were finished when I returned 4 days later, They did an excellent job!!
