The original meeting to receive an estimate was very thorough. We didn't have to wait long to schedule to have the waterproofing done. It was a relatively quick process -- 4 days from start to finish. They dug a drain around the perimeter of the basement and recemented, installed a vapor barrier on the walls and installed a drain pump. A staircase needed to be removed in order to reach some walls. We were disappointed with the rebuilding of the landing of the steps as they used cheap particle board that bounces while walking on it. Another contractor at our house (for an unrelated project) even pointed out that it feels unsafe. I did not appreciate the crew playing loud music or using vulgar language in my home where I have two small children. Aside from those issues, we were pleased with the work. Since we purchased our home we have only had one relatively minor leak in the basement from prolonged rain so it's hard to know if the waterproofing system is working as it wasn't a constant issue; however, we feel confident in the work being backed by a lifetime guarantee.

It was more difficult than I expected, but I was naive! The business owner was very thorough in determining what was needed to deal with the problem that affected three basement rooms. The workers were capable and extremely courteous. They cleaned up the affected areas very well The office prematurely filed the paperwork, which delayed the re-installation of the toilet after the concrete had cured (the only negative).

TOOK TOO LONG TO COMPLETE WITH TOO MANY RETURN TRIPS.

The representative was very courteous and professional. After observing the area, he explained what would need to be done. Says would begin January, 2016. There were several returns by the workers after that initial start date, and over the rest of the winter and spring, the last attempt to complete the job on May 22, 2016, with a promise to return to totally complete the job --- there has been no additional work done and I still have a leak in one area!

I needed to seal up the leaky, damp, musty basement in my almost 130 year old house that didn't seem to have had a basement update since it was built. The crew arrived promptly on Monday morning and got straight to work and did the same on every other day. At the start it was estimated to take 4-5 days, but they ended up finishing it 2 and a half days. They originally figured they would need to move the two water heaters because of their proximity to the wall, but they were able to work around it meaning no loss of hot water during the work as I had originally planned. The whole crew worked very efficiently and they were all very courteous and were sure to check with me at the start of the day and when they were leaving for the day. Would hire them again without hesitation if I ever had another basement to waterproof!

This was done in my 90 year old mother's house, but she d/n have computer access/knowledge! Work was overseen by my brother-in-law who has some engineering ability and built his own house. He was MOST impressed with the professionalism and abilities of the team. They were prompt, efficient, knowledgeable about their part of the job, worked very well as a team, there was no idle talk or inappropriate language or behavior. This is the 2nd time a family member has used this business because of their professionalism and experience and expertise...repeat business speaks volumes! I was not there as the work was taking place, but arrived as the crew was finishing and cleaning up, and the work was nicely done. Any questions I asked the team were answered to my satisfaction. GREAT group to work with ~ would HIGHLY recommend!!!

The person who came and gave the estimate was polite and informative. I was surprised that scheduling was 2 months out but I went ahead and got on the list. The guys doing the work covered the stuff in the basement with plastic to help control the dust, they were REALLY not big on conversation but they seemed to do good work. The only thing that didn't go well was when they hooked the basement sink back up the drain pipe leaked. I didn't ask them to come back and repair it because they are not plumbers and I wanted it redone correctly (old house, may have not been right to start with). A plumber that came to the house before I called Champion quoted $10k-$12k to do french drains in 3/4 of the basement and said it would be $12k to $14k to due the full basement, so I was happy with Champion's cost.

I wish I could give Champion at A+ in all categories. They were the MOST excellent company we have dealt with thus far, while remodeling our home. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the professionalism of crew that came to our home! They were respectful and courteous, and made us feel as though our project mattered. They took much pride in their work, as though it was their own home! They worked quickly and efficiently, and CLEANLY! I cannot believe how well they were able to contain the dust and debris from all of their work in the basement (we don't have a walk-out, so they had to go through the main level of our home). The quality of the work is outstanding!!! I wish we had before and after pictures. It looks like a whole new house. No more musty, stinky smell - it's clean and fresh and bright! The sump pumps are silent. The concrete around the perimeter is neatly done and blends seamlessly (although we are going to cover with flooring, it looks like a fine basement sub-floor). If you're looking to waterproof your basement, I would not look anywhere else. I have told all of my friends and family that I am so glad we entrusted this major job to Champion! I am beyond impressed. Do not think twice about hiring this amazing team.

The job itself went well, the workers were professional, clean and arrived early. The main issue I had was that the sales person advised the French drain by itself would resolve my problem, but when the tech arrived, he advised I wild need additional work to prevent further movement of the wall.

Went well. Only wish I'd have had them or someone else put white wall board on all exterior walls floor to ceiling. We're still trying to make the rest of the basement look nice. painting the floors and walls.

We decided to hold off on services until our budget would allow the work to be performed.

Champion Waterproofing gave me an exact date when the job would be done and they showed up as promised. The job was efficiently done in one day. This included trenching the concrete floor in approximately half of the basement area and then cementing over the trench after installing the pump.

On time. Polite crew. Very hard workers as my job Was not the best in accessibility. 2 days. Very quick. Very little inconvenience. Lifetime warranty on work and equipment.

Went very well. Work was completed quickly and professionally. System worked great - the basement is dry and the new walls look great. Only issue was the sales person specifically said they didn't have to move the furnace to do the job, but then later said it would cost an extra $500 to move the furnace to complete the job. Seemed a little slimy to me - but that's all on the sales rep I think. Overall a good price and quality work with a great guarantee. I would recommend them.

They did not seal sump pump opening initially and this interfered with a radon mitigation system from proper function of preventing radon gas leakage into the basement. Matt came back and sealed the opening after my request. Not what I consider to be a professional initial job.

I was very pleased with this company and the services they provided. Our basement and garage were a hot mess and today they are dry as a bone. The workmen arrived promptly every morning and worked all day. They cleaned up after themselves every day and when they were finished they left the area clean. We've had some heavy rains since the work was completed and the basement and garage are dry. They were a little more expensive than other estimates we received but they were worth the money spent. The lifetime warranty is a bonus.

We scheduled a consult for a possible french drain to be installed. We waited around for the representative to show up. 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time I called and no one answered. We waited another 30 minutes and still no one showed up. I called back and left a voicemail. I received a call the next day advising that they never got a confirmation so they didn't come for the consultation. I advised that no one ever contacted us to confirm the appointment. They did not apologize, but did ask if I would like to reschedule. I advised that we would no longer be needing their services.

I would not recommend this company to anyone based off my experience. The salesman gave me the wrong date, said they would start Thursday and they called Wednesday to say they were on their way. When they came in to put the sump pumps in, they claimed they do not actually wipe down the mold they simply spray it to kill it off. The salesman did not pitch it this way to begin with, I called the office to inform them of what I was advised and they reluctantly agreed to wipe down the walls. They used one of my hurricane mops to clean the mold and did not bother cleaning off the mop afterwards so that is ruined. They did not put any of the shelving back into my cedar closet which I am unable to do myself so I will have to wait for a relative to help with that. There is some slight damage to the wall right above my square glass window that was not there before the job. The floor did not sweep up very well when they left, and as of course I no longer had my mop, I had to get on my hands and knees to wipe down the floors myself. It took me almost five hours to clean up the mess they left on the floors and walls. I do feel for the technicians that were sent out as they were actually digging holes for the downspouts by hand, it seems the company is not very well equipped for their trade and did not have any back hoes to supply. The manager I spoke with over the phone multiple times did not offer to alleviate any issues whenever I spoke to her, they have pretty poor customer service as well.

,I had an appointment for 4:00 pm. They called earlier that day to verify I would be there. Then, they proceeded to not show up, and they did not even have the courtesy to call to cancel or to explain. Quite unappreciated.

I am extremely pleased with Champion. From the initial estimate to the job being completed, all was handled with courtesy and professionalism. The office staff made sure I was on board with the time and dates, the crew arrived on time and finished the project in a timely manner. The basement in my 80 year old house looks great!! I am very pleased with the job Champion did and would recommend them. The work also has a lifetime guarantee and that guarantee goes with the house if I sell. I am very pleased with the outcome of this project.

The initial installation went fine. They were very good, thorough and professional. The only problem I had was with their customer service. There were several delays. I called several times and they said they would come out, and then didn't. When I would get in contact with them again they would delay again. Eventually the problem was taken care of, but it was very slow.

They were very professional and did as they said. The only criticism is there was there was one time there seemed to be poor communication between the workers and the person that gave us the inspection/quote.

The two guys came on time when scheduled and started work. Within a several hours they were finished. Cleanup was awesome. They did identify another problem and made some recommendations we are going to follow up on. Really nice guys. They did have the best estimate and completed the job at that cost.

Well this was my 2nd sump pump installation by Champion, the last was in 2006. In 2006, they get As the whole way across but this time not. First of all, they left cigarette buds on my back porch (guess they smoke). The white wall used the time was half the thickness compared to the 2006 job. I had to ask them to come back twice to clean up more. The white wall was filthy and they came back and cleaned it off. They also did not plug in my dryer properly and had to make an appt to have someone come and reconnect it. I wish the service was the same it was in 2006 but it wasn't. The cost is comparable to other companies
