Description of Work: Great product at half the price of competitors and all of the workers were highly professional and great to work with. This was a scary basement with black mold and many other issues before they arrived. After the work was completed it is bone dry and I have been able to finish this basement to be a show piece in the home.

Description of Work: Crew installed an interior French drain and sump pump in unfinished basement.They treated the walls and installed britewall covering. I feel the installation presented a couple of unusual problems including some areas of rather deep cement to jackhammer, a bathroom that needed to be removed with sewer lines to be sealed and a cement wall removed. Jason and his crew dealt with each challenge as a matter of course. I felt comfortable that they were knowledgeable about what they were doing. They were very courteous and professional, willing to answer all my questions. The crew was punctual and organized and worked hard the entire time they were here, cleaning up very thoroughly before they left. A second crew came to seal a cement porch above the basement, and they also were punctual and polite and completed the work in a timely fashion. We have not had enough rain to give this job a real test, so I will update this review as time passes.

Description of Work: Champion sent someone to give me a free estimate and I was all set to use them. I asked for references from the town where I live. He gave me a list of three from my home town. When I tried to call all three numbers I got no response. I called and asked them to give me three more recent references and I never heard back from them. I would not recommend them at this time.

HIS PRICE WAS FAIR & INCLUDED A $150 DISCOUNT AS ADVERTISED IN ANGIE'S LIST, PITTSBURGH (ENCLOSED). THE WORKERS WHO DID THE WORK WERE PUNCTUAL, NEAT, THOROUGH, DID A GREAT JOB, & CLEANED UP WELL.
Description of Work: PERFORMED THE WORK NECESSARY TO CORRECT WATER LEAKING INTO OUR BASEMENT; INSTALLED ON 24 LINEAR FEET. REMOVED ONE FOOT OF CONCRETE FLOORING ALONG INSIDE WALL; DUG & REMOVED 1 TO 1 1/2 FEET OF DIRT NEXT TO FOOTING; DRILLED OUT CELLS & VOIDS BETWEEN BLOCKS; INSTALLED DRAIN GUARD, PLASTIC PIPE, CONE PLATE, GRAVEL, ETC; RECEMENTED AREA; INSTALLED AUTOMATIC SUMP PUMP, & SEALED, CLEANED UP, & REMOVED DEBRIS.

IT WAS A DIRTY NOISY JOB; ALL THE DIRTIER FOR THE RAINY, SNOWY WEATHER WHICH CAUSED MUD TO BE TRACKED IN. WORKERS RESPONDED TO QUESTIONS, BUT WERE UNCOMMUNICATIVE OTHERWISE. CALLS TO THE CREW CHIEF WENT UNANSWERED. BASEMENT WALLS WERE LEFT LESS CLEAN THAN I HAD EXPECTED
Description of Work: PERIMETER INSIDE BASEMENT WAS TRENCHED AND HOLES DRILLED IN BLOCK WALLS TO COLLECT WATER THAT HAD BEEN SEEPING IN THROUGH WALLS. HEAVY BLACK VINYL MATERIAL TACKED TO THE BOTTOM FOOT OF WALL TO DIVERT ANY MOISTURE ENTERING. GRAVEL & PIPES INSTALLED DIVERTING WATER TO ONE OF TWO SUMP PUMPS, THAT PUMP WATER OUTSIDE INTO YARD. ALSO, ''MUSHROOM'' IN BASEMENT FLOOR WAS BROKEN UP AND NEW CEMENT WAS POURED IN A 12' BY 12' AREA. WE HAVE HAD NO WATER IN THE BASEMENT SINCE INSTALLATION 7 WEEKS AGO.

+ -1 moreSERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, WILLIAM BERNESSER CAME AND REVIEWED THE PROBLEM AREAS AND EXPLAINED WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE IN DETAIL. WAS PROFESSIONAL. THE WATERPROOFING WAS DONE(BUT WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!- SEE BELOW)AND I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH WATER IN BASEMENT OVER 4 MONTHS SINCE. THE WORKMAN ARRIVED ON DATE AGREED UPON. HOWEVER, THEY QUIT EARLY ON DAY ONE AND THEN HAD TO RUSH TO FINISH UP ON DAY 2. A MAJOR PROBLEM AROSE ON DAY 2 THAT SHOULD HAVE BE ANTICIPATED IF THEY HAD READ THE WORK ORDER PROPERLY. BECAUSE OF THIS AND TO AVOID OVERTIME THE FOREMAN SENT THE CREW HOME AND STAYED TO FINISH. THERE WAS NOT CLEANUP IN THE BASEMENT AND IT WAS A MESS. I REVIEWED MY COPY OF THE WORK ORDER WITH HIM AND DISCOVERED THAT SOME OF THE DETAILED WORK WAS NOT COMPLETED. I CALLED THE COMPANY 3 TIMES DURING THAT DAY AND THEN AGAIN IN 2 MONTHS. THEY FINALLY SENT SOMEONE TO FINISH JOB. WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD FIRED THE FOREMAN AND THAT THERE HAD BEEN CHANGES IN MANAGEMENT.
Description of Work: CONCRETE BLOCK BASEMENT WALLS WERE SEEPING AND SOME STANDING WATER WITH HARD RAINS. INSTALLED H.D. SUBMERSIBLE PUMP PRESSURE RELIEF SYSTEM WITH DRAINS AROUND THE ENTIRE INTERIOR WALLS OF BASEMENT. INSTALLED 8'' GRATE IN FRONT OF INTEGRAL GARAGE DOOR AND TIED INTO FLOOR SYSTEM TO PREVENT WATER RUNNING INTO AND POOLING IN GARAGE.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME TODAY. I CALLED THEM TO SEE WHEN THEY WOULD BE COMING AND WAS TOLD THAT I WAS NOT ON THE SCHEDULE. I WAS TOLD THAT THE PERSON I TALKED WITH INITIALLY WAS NEW. THE PERSON I TALKED WITH TODAY DID NOT SEEM TO CARE IF THEY CAME TO GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE OR NOT.
Description of Work: I CALLED THEM AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE ON BASEMENT WATERPROOFING. THEY SCHEDULED ME FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF AFTER MY INITIAL CALL.

THE GUYS CLEANED UP AS BEST AS THEY COULD AFTER A PRETTY MESSY JOB. AND WHEN THEY WERE NOTIFIED OF A PROBLEM WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE WORK, THEY CAME BACK OUT WITHIN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND CORRECTED THE PROBLEM WITH THE SAME PROFESSIONALISM AND COURTESY DISPLAYED BEFORE. A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED COMPANY.
Description of Work: INSTALLED A FRENCH DRAIN SYSTEM WITH PUMP, APPROXIMATELY 45 FEET, TO ALLEVIATE DAMPNESS AND WATER SEEPAGE IN OUR BASEMENT.

THE WORK WAS DONE IN ONE DAY, AND THE MESS (AS YOU MIGHT IMAGINE) WAS CLEANED UP COMPLETELY. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THERE HAS BEEN NO SEEPAGE OR PAINT FLAKING TO DATE.
Description of Work: INSTALLED AT LEAST 35 RUNNING FEET OF INTERIOR FRENCH DRAIN IN MY GAME ROOM TO STOP A SEEPAGE PROBLEM. THIS REQUIRED JACK-HAMMERING A CONCRETE FLOOR, DRILLING HUNDREDS OF HOLES, AND RE-CEMENTING.
