Description of Work: Champion Waterproofing installed support beams, internal French drains, and a sump pump in our basement. In addition, they recommended a guy who took out boards in our deck and then replaced them since the anchors had to be put in underneath our deck. We were very satisfied with all aspects of the work.

Description of Work: They installed a french drain and sump pump in my basement. It went very smoothly. The person that came out to give me the initial estimate seemed very knowledgable and when I had questions about the estimate, he got back to me in a timely fashion. The crew that came to install the drain and pump were very prompt, courteous and worked quickly (they were finished couple hours early!). I am h happy with the job and have not had a water issue in my basement since the installation.

Description of Work: They reinforced a subsiding basement wall. They sealed all cracked mortar joints. The two man team worked together professionally....it became obvious after only a short time that they'd handled similar subsidance problems many times....they knew what they were doing. |It went very well.

Description of Work: Put an inside french drain and sump pump in our gameroom and garage. It went great. They cleaned up well. Would highly recommend.

Description of Work: Didn't use them as their price was all that competitive. Estimator was faulty knowledge about subject matter, but didn't get an overall good vibe during estimate I did with other that had a more reasonable price. In some cases you are willing to pay more for a service from a gods customer experience. Since all companies I reached out to I got a similar feeling I went by price. If champion was more competitive I would have went with them

Description of Work: I emailed the company and have yet to hear from them.

Description of Work: Removed existing french drain pipe which was leaking and installed new pipe, same quality, 25 feet, no sump pump, connected to existing system. This leaked with the first heavy rain May 5. On June 11 they came back out and replaced pipe, installed new system and sump pump. Found one block in second row was displaced inward letting mud in. Stated this system would take care of the problem, 2/28/2011 it leaked again letting water and mud into my basement. 20 days later someone came out andf looked at the damage and flushed the system. I then got some other opinions on what needed done and called Howard. I took three calls and 15 days for him to come out and talk to me. I have a lifetime guarantee on the work and he refused to refund my money. He finally offerd to give back 2/3 in return for a gag order. I have not heard from him since.

Description of Work: We contacted Champion because the carpeting in our basement game room suddenly was damp. Bill Biernesser came out to our house right away and spent close to an hour assessing the situation. He said he would be able to install a French drain, but that would involve ripping up our carpeting and breaking through the cement floor beneath. Before he did that, he thought we should try talking to our builder, since Bill wasn't sure exactly what was causing the water to appear. I took his advice, and our builder came out and is now handling the whole situation for us. I was very impressed with Bill and with the people in Champion's office with whom I dealt on the phone. When he left that Friday, I tried to give Bill a check for his time, but he refused. This was a situation in which some people might have been willing to take advantage of my wife and me, since we had no idea what the problem was with our game room. Bill insisted we explore other avenues before getting back to him. He is a true professional and a gentleman, to boot. If we have any need of his services in the future, we won't hesitate to contact him immediately.

Description of Work: NO WORK DONE BECAUSE JOB PROPOSAL WAS WAY OUT OF LINE. PROPOSAL WAS VERY EXPENSIVE, RECOMMENDED UNNECESSARY WORK AND MISSED ONE IMPORTANT SUGGESTION. IN ADDITION, THE SALESMAN DID AN INCOMPLETE INSPECTION AND DISPARAGED OTHERS WHO WORKED ON MY HOME PREVIOUSLY. FINALLY, HE PULLED A CLASSIC TRICK: OFFERED A 20% DISCOUNT ON THE OBSCENELY OVERPRICED JOB. THE NEXT TIME I WANT TO BE SOAKED, I WILL JUST STAND OUT IN THE RAIN.
