Description of Work: Needed mortar on brick on very front of house right above the front door fixed due to a 5 foot or so crack from settling. It was repaired previously, very badly.

Description of Work: Repairs to cracking recently poured concrete that was poorly repaired by the original concrete contractor. Installing stone to cover existing brick on stoop that was continuously spalling.

I am quite pleased with all of the work done, the expertise of workmen, and the extensive labor involved in doing the work on a house on a hill side. Tim and crew were professional, giving answers to all of my questions.

Description of Work: The work was done on the interior stone foundation walls of my 100 year-old house. They removed any loose coating, parged the rough areas with mortar, recoated the entire walls, and cleaned up the jobsite.

Description of Work: Owner was very prompt to look at the job needed to be done. He presented a very thorough and specific estimate, very professional. And that was the last we heard of him!

Description of Work: My chimney was falling apart on the outside and originally, it was believed that the scope of work would include taking all the brick down, and rebuilding the entire outside with new brick. Mr. Tim Siffrinn suggested where I go to pick out my choice brick, and the company spoke very highly of Mr. Tim Siffrinn! Other contractors biding for the job said that I would also need a new cap, Mr. Tim Siffrinn assured me that the cap in use was still absolutely fine (keeping it saved $500). Once the work began, Mr. Tim Siffrinn realized that the inside of my chimney was not done properly 60 years ago, and showed me the problems. Mr. Tim Siffrinn felt very badly as the scope of work had now increased, and said that he did not have x-ray vision. Tim was very professional, and a perfectionist and was a gentleman on the final price, which was obviously more than the original quote but in all fairness, it had to be! While I had Mr. Tim Siffrinn - the chimney needed to be completely fixed inside and out! The final price was agreed upon and was extreemly fair! Had the entire scope been quoted originally, the price would have been much, much higher. Mr. Tim Siffrinn completed the job in a timely fashion and was always promtly here in the morning. After the work was completed, the new beautiful chimney "sat" for a day, then Mr. Tim Siffrinn returned to wash the chimney, and it looked even more fantastic! Neighbors immediately began complementing the new addition to my home.

Description of Work: We have a 100+ year old house with an original 3 flue chimney that was in serious need of repair, the bricks were falling apart and the mortar was severely eroded. Repairs looked quite challenging as the chimney was on top of the 3 story house in a fragile slate roof area, which was set back in the middle of the house.
