Sacramento Contracting

I called Sacramento Contracting because of their great reviews. They lived up to them. Dean came shortly after I called to give an estimate. The price was in keeping with other contractors. When I had to reschedule due to a medical problem, it was no problem. Dean and his crew came out and quickly got to work. Despite the heat and rain the finished quickly doing a thoroughly professional job. The did a good job cleaning up the work site daily and did a magnetic sweep to pick up any stray nails. would diffidently hire them again.

I can't be more positive in my review! I interviewed 8 roofers (Winter/Spring of 2018/19) in the Irwin area and Sacramento was the only one to provide a detailed pro-forma for the work. The estimate was very clear on all materials to be used, which was very important to me. I travel with work and needed to schedule the job well in advance and was very pleased that Dean timed the work to align perfectly with my schedule (weather worked out too!). I grew up working for my contractor father and installed many a roof. Dean and his team did a first rate job, taking their time to do it right. The entire group were courteous and sincere, offering good suggestions. In addition, I had insurance coverage due to wind damage. Dean worked with the insurance in follow-up which increased the final check for the work (the insurance adjuster missed several key materials and costs). I was so pleased with their work, I recommended Sacramento to my sister. They too were pleased. It is very hard to select a roofer without a good referral and I had none to start. I assure you, if you select Sacramento, you will not be disappointed.

The crew was knowledgeable, professional, courteous and receptive to owners needs. This roof replacement was a tedious job based on 55 square shingle removal and installation of all contract specified material. The architectural design of the home containing multiple roof levels. The complexity was handled by Dean and his crew in the specified time frame.

Sacramento Contracting offered great communication, provided a contract detailing the work to be done, and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. Roof looks beautiful and the job came out perfect.

Everything went fine. They showed up on time, did an excellent job and were done when they said they would be finished. When they left my yard and grounds were in good condition( no left over trash for me to clean up). I would recommend them!

Contractor was very professional and provided great ideas on design and colors to really give my house that curb appeal. Showed up on time everyday and put in a full days work. Very organized and seemed to care about of their equipment and tools as much as my property. More than happy with the finished product!!!

Dean returned my call within a day and we came to an agreement on the scope, timing, and cost of the repair. The work was performed according to our agreement so I am very pleased and would hire Dean again. The experience was professional and friendly.

I called and left a message with Sacramento Contracting when I noticed my roof seemed a little soft between the trusses. Dean returned my call within an hour. Upon hearing my description of the problem and that the roof was only 15 – 20 years old, Dean suspected this was a case of thin sheeting and that likely it was ok. He said he would come out and take a look later in the day. I was not able to be there at the time, but Dean still came out and then called me later that evening. He reported that thin sheeting was the cause for the issue, and that the shingles were still in good condition. He explained that a lot of homes had this type of sheeting and that this roof had a number of good years of life yet. While performing his inspection, Dean also resealed some flashing along the house and around the chimney. Overall his recommendation was that no repairs were necessary as the roof was in good shape. I found Sacramento Contracting to be prompt, honest, and professional. They took the time to listen to and answer all of my questions. While I did not need a new roof now, I will definitely call them when that time does come.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with Sacramento Contracting. We are very particular and have high expectations when hiring a contractor. Dean and Anthony are not only prompt with their correspondence but they pay attention to detail and take pride in their work. They arrived as promised, explained and answered all questions and were very neat both while working and with cleanup. Sacramento Contracting was recommended to me by a former co-worker when I mentioned that we would need to replace our homes original roof in the near future. Along with planning for a replacement of our homes roof, we saved money for many years to realize our dream of having a roof over our back porch. Our back porch roof is more beautiful than we had envisioned and we say WOW every time we step out the back door! Dean and Anthony are very polite and easy to work with and we would highly recommend to anyone in need of a reputable contractor who means what they say.

The job went very smoothly. They were on time each day that they worked. They finished the job in 2.5 days working around the wind and rain. My home is a large two story home of approximately 2,800 square feet. Would for sure recommend them to anyone!

Dean and his crew did a fantastic job on our new roof. I never thought a roof would be exciting, but it looks great and improves the overall appearance of the house. Dean is very professional and easy to work with. They showed up on time every day and immediately started work. They thoroughly cleaned up leaving no nails or debris behind. Also, Dean redirected two gutters and installed new downspouts. I recommend Sacramento Contracting for any roofing projects.

Dean Sacramento arrived to start the job on the scheduled start date and continued working every day until the project was completed. He promptly returned my phone calls and answered all my questions. He is a roofing professional and his excellent work reflects it. The new roof looks great and he was very meticulous in cleaning up around the house. I will highly recommend him to anyone who needs roofing work.

Dean helped me to replace a roof 2016. He did very good job. I purchased a new house this year and I asked Dean to replace the roof. This is the second time he helped me to replace the roof. Overall service is very good. I recommend him to my friends

FANTASTIC! Mother Nature didn't cooperate very much with getting our roof replaced, but Dean and his crew managed to get the job done perfectly. The roof looks beautiful! Dean arrived just when he said he would (on the days without rain, that is), and they immediately went straight to work. They completed the job in less than a week (we have a large roof, too). The clean-up was immaculate; they used a magnet apparatus to make sure there were no rogue nails or staples in our lawn and driveway. Almost as important as an excellent job was the price Dean quoted. We recommend Sacramento Contracting to anyone needing roofing work performed; we guarantee that they wouldn't be disappointed.

My wife and I are very cautious when hiring people to come work at home. We are careful and decisive when during the process to choose the professionals we decide upon. That being said... Dean, his brother, and crew were 1st class to interact with. Courteous to converse with during the estimate period. Happy to answer questions regarding materials being used, color choice best for our home, and improving the look of the roof by removing/consolidateing vents. Detailed and itemized quote followed with manufacturer and model of materials being used. Thorough plan of action was written out as well. Accommodated our scheduling needs to get the roof on. 3 days total to remove the old roof and install the new roof. Very neat and organized with removal of old materials and delivery of new supplies. Respected our property and was careful not to damage our belongings or other areas of home. No residual debris were left behind each day. Nails were no where to be found. Very impressed. The new roof has tremendous presence. The quality of the fit and finish is evident. New flashing and fixtures on the roof, along with the new shingles' color and contrast revamped the look of our home. Numerous neighbors and people passing by want to know who did the work and we are happy to pass on their contact information. Will refer them to anyone who needs a roof. Proud to have had them take care of us in our time of need.

Dean was awesome. He came out to look at our problem and was very professional. If he said he would call he did. He even came early on the day to start the job. He and his helper were very friendly. They cleaned everything up. I will gladly recommend Sacramento Roofing to everyone.

I received a few other bids on my roof and I feel that sometimes money is added to the price because of my zip code. I searched reviews and even though they might not have the most reviews on Angies List they also don't have any bad reviews. I contacted Dean and he came out within a few days to measure the roof when I was home so I could point out some of the problems I noticed with the existing roof. A couple of days later I was emailed a bid . Dean and I talked on the phone and he advised of the work that would be done and also the changes that would update my roof to new standards since the roof that was on the house was done in the 90's. Another company advised I should replace the gutters. I asked Dean what his opinion was on the gutters and he said I didn't need them. If I wanted to replace them he would but said it would only be for cosmetic reasons and not functionality. Dean said the only problem he saw with the gutters was the way they were mounted and he was going to mount them correctly. I purchased my own gutter guards and they were installed at no extra cost! Dean kept me up to date on the progress of my roof with either an email or a phone call. Whenever I needed to reach him with any questions he returned my calls or emails very quickly. My roof looks great. The flashing problems with my chimneys and skylights was corrected . I would definitely use them in the future for other projects. I have already recommended Sacremento Roofing to two other friends.

Dean and Neil performed a wonderful job. The roof looks incredible. Their workmanship, professionalism and work ethic are simply astounding. Working with any contractor can be an adventure based on communication issues and general flakiness. This was not even close to an issue with Sacramento Contracting. Dean and Neil arrived at my house every day within a 15 minute window and were always open to answering my questions or entertaining my suggestions. I can not recommend them enough.

Sacramento roofing did a unbelievable job! Roof looks great! Awsered all our questions. Worked to our conditions, he waited for weather to clear up for us, before starting the roof. cleanup was great. Anyone who would like to come to our residence to see the roof, are more than welcome. We would suggest to hire Sacramento roofing to anyone. Plus Sacramento roofing gave us a plaster contractor to do work for us inside and they did a great job as well!

Sacramento Brothers are very honest and professional, did a wonderful job installing our new roof, soffit, gutters and downspouts. Then kept us up to date with the progress of the install, they ensured all materials were cleaned up at the end of the day and left everything neat and clean. Two great guys that you can trust to do a professional job. We definitely will use their services for all necessary work on our home and would highly recommend.

Dean came highly recommended and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. When I contacted Dean for an estimate, he responded promptly and left materials for me to review. He followed up quickly then provided an estimate. He was not ‘pushy’ in any way and allowed me time to review the estimate. I agreed on the work and Dean kept me informed as to when he would do the work. He came to my home before starting the work. I asked him if he would be supervising the job and he replied that he would be doing the work himself because he wanted to make sure it was done right. To me, that was a true testimonial to the pride he takes in his work and putting the customer first. Dean told me how long the job would take and kept me informed of his progress. He was at my house when he said he would be. He cleaned up each time before he left and did a fantastic job of cleaning up on the final day of work. Now, the workmanship was impeccable. Dean did everything he said he would and a little more. He painted a vent to match the shingles and did not charge extra. There were no hidden costs. I paid exactly what he quoted me. He made a phone call to another contractor for other work I need to have done without me having to ask. I felt comfortable with Dean working in and around my home. I trusted him and left my key one day in case he needed to get inside. He is very professional, personable and has great integrity. I would recommend Dean without reservation.

Everything went great!!! Dean provided with a quote and modified it with input from both of us. He arrived and left when it he said. He clean everything up daily.
