Of all the builders we met with (including Ryan, Heartland, S&A, and others), we were most impressed with Parry. They use quality materials for even their baseline homes. Justin was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions on building materials. We didn't even have an appointment scheduled, but he spent hours with us on our first visit to their showroom. We scheduled a follow-up meeting with Daniele, to look at a marked-up floor plan, and discuss other interior options. She was also very professional, and obviously cares about their process and the customer. The reason we did not move forward with building had nothing to do with Parry. Shortly after meeting with Parry, we decided to purchase an existing custom-built home that met our needs. However, should we need to build a house in future, Parry would be at the top of the list. Don't settle for a cookie-cutter home. If you are even considering building, do yourself a favor and meet with Parry.

Wonderful--we couldn't be happier with our experience. Parry Custom Homes is a true family-run company that lives up to its promises. We chose Parry after talking to various custom builders in the Pittsburgh area. We already owned our lot, so we came into the discussion with a vision of what we wanted and Parry helped to guide us through the designing/building process. Daniele Parry was helpful in facillitating conversations regarding the details, and Justin Parry was helpful in facillitating the design. Rex, the Project Manager was diligent in communicating during the building process. Designing the house took some time for us to make sure we got everything we wanted, but Parry was patient with us, and they were responsive if/when we wanted to check on pricing before requesting the design be changed. That really helped us to control costs. The building process took 6 months for us, but we ran into considerable delays in the excavation due to extreme amounts of rain. Parry uses the same crews on all of their jobs, so they are able to monitor quality, and it really shows in the final product. We've lived in our home now for a year, and while the design/build process was a hectic time, Parry Custom Homes definitely made things easy and smooth for us. Parry Custom Homes prides itself in bucking the trend of the production builders by delivering a quality product at affordable prices. They don't cut corners and undeprice things just to they can profit from costly change orders.
