+ -1 moreI contacted John by phone one day and showed up on time on the scheduled day. He did his certification and testing on the backflow preventer in about an hour. He then submit all the paperwork with the water authority and mailed me back my copy.
Description of Work: John did the annual certification on my backflow preventer on my main water line. I have had a good working relationship with John and his son Clayton for years. He shows up when he says and does the work needed in a timely fashion at a reasonable price

Description of Work: I had electrical problems and the electrician came to troubleshoot. Problem solved but the electrician asked me to follow him to the basement. He asked me what was attached to the gas line. I said a friend was remodeling my basement and he threw out the portable gas fireplace. Electrician said there was no cap to gas line. If I accidently bumped the pipe, my house would have blown up killing me and my 6 cats. I didn't know anyone to trust so he referred me to Burkett Plumbing & Heating. Both gentleman were local businessmen, honest, trustworthy and they saved my life! I will never use friends to do reno work to save money again. I learned a big lesson. Mr. Burkett's son came the very next day to correct the problem.
