Called at 8 am. He was here by 10 am. Snaked out the drain and checked the sewer clean out by street. Very pleasant and left everything clean. Thank you Goods plumbing! Couldn't be more pleased !

Responded to my call within hours and set up appointment for the next day. The young man who came was very professional and respectful. He was not messy and cleaned up when done.

They had a lot of knowledge. We had a difficult situation and they thought through it well and handled it the least invasive way. Found 2 areas with spikes through underground pipe, spray painted the areas, but never returned to actually fix the problem.

My husband is an engineer and he understands their work. We were very pleased with them. We used them previously too. We were impressed with their work. They are prompt and efficient. They offer reasonable price.

We have a rental house and the water drain back up into the basement. On Saturday 10-20-12 we called a plumbing company to come and unclog the drain. They did snake the drain, but it didn't work and they were to come back on Monday 10-22-12 to work on the problem again. On 10-22*12 we had second thoughts about using the company who came out over the weekend for various reasons. We called this company and cancelled them coming out. At this point we were back at squae one and our tenents were not very happy with having a wet basement. We called Good's Plumbing around 8:30am and talked to the owner's wife. After describing what the first company wanted to do, hydrojet clay pipes she asked if her husband could call us back, we said yes. Within 15 minutes the owner called us and said that in his opinion wouldn't use the hydrojet on drain pipes that old as it could collaspe the drain pipes. After talking about our options, we called Good's Plumbing again and asked if they could come and do the job for us. They said that there was an employee in the area and could be at the house between 10am and noon on 10-22-12. At 9:45AM they called and said that they'd be there within 15 minutes!! That was FANTASTIC service. I waited at the house and the tech, Jeff arrived at exactly 10am. He asked what the other company had done on their service call and I told him what I knew. I then called my father who was there when the other company was at the rental house and Jeff figured out what they did or should I say didn't do. We went into the basement after all the equipment that he needed was taken out of the van. He snaked the drain and it worked!! He then used a sewer camera to see if the clay drain pipes were crushed or had cracks in them. Thankfully the pipes weren't crushed only a few of them were cracked. He also suggested that I could get a root preventer for the drain and when I asked him if the drain needed replaced immediately, he said that it would need it in a few years. He even cleaned up the mud/leaves on the kitchen floor and water on the basement steps. That was very professional. When the time comes that the drain line needs replaced we will definitely have Good's Plumbing for the job!!

He installed the new center stem. He charged me $165 for the simple fix, which I thought was way too high. Within three months, the flapper valve had gone bad. The only way that I could get him out to fix his work was because of a 'guarantee' in his Yellow Pages ad.
