We received an estimate, and we did NOT hire this company. We have one crack in one basement wall, a 1/8” bow (which is perfectly acceptable), some efflorescence throughout, and no water. A representative from Poseidon told us that our house inspector before we bought the house did not accurately perform his job. Poseidon told us that we should tear the walls off our finished basement, install interior drains (i.e., wall pipes and 2 sump pumps) and install eight carbon fiber straps—all of which is unnecessary and would have been a waste of $17,000 (which does not even include the cost of new drywall). I ended up hiring a different company to install an exterior drain for significantly less money. I appreciate Poseidon’s free estimate, but they should be honest about what we need.

I hired Poseidon to fix a leak in my garage. They sent some out and he recommended a system that he assured me would fix the leak. When the workmen came out the man in charge questioned whether the plan was correct because he thought a drain should be placed in another location in the garage. I asked him to verify before proceeding. He told me he did and that everything would be ok. While putting in the drain they broke a line on my garage door, but I didn't bring it up because I understand electronics and so I fixed it. They left. That night it rained and water leaked into the garage. My wife called the company to find out if that was normal. The person my wife spoke to was rude and they refused to send anyone to our home unless we paid them more money. I called the next day. Again they were very rude and refused to send anyone out unless we paid them more money. While talking to them they slipped up and said that maybe the original plan was incorrect, but that didn't matter because I signed off on it and they had my money. If I wanted it fixed again I'd have to pay them more money. The problem has NOT been resolved and it looks like this is going to court. This company doesn't know how to solve waterproofing issues. If they mess up then they just try to charge you more. All I wanted was for them to stop by and verify the work, but again they refuse unless you pay them thousands more. Please stay away from this company!

Installed as part of the contingency when buying the house. Have called them back to fix a leaking problem three times and now one of the anchors likely needs dig up and redone due to poor workmanship and use of unions to join two or more lengths of the rod they use. I’m unable to tighten one of the plates anymore because it’s against the union connector that has now come through my basement wall. Very unprofessional and undertrained staff and poorly run business. Despite my multiple attempts to talk to the owner or whoever is the highest in charge about my terrible experiences, I just keep getting brushed off. I am at the point where I’d almost rather cough up the money to have a REAL company come and redo the entire job the right way.
