I called Matt upon recommendation from the heating and cooling company I've had good experience with. I needed to have two outlets moved a distance of a few inches to allow for some new cabinets I was having installed. I did not obtain estimate in advance, and realized later that was a mistake I won't make again. He took approximately 4 hours for this task, and charged me a little over $400. Now, he did need to install a new junction box, to allow the extension of the wires. Still, I had trouble seeing this as 4 hours worth of work. In addition, he installed cover plates that didn't match the ones I already had in the kitchen, because he didn't have any on hand. He offered to go to the store and buy new ones, but at that point, it had taken far too long already, and I wasn't willing to pay the extra time. I figured I could do it myself for much less money. To his credit, he unexpectedly stopped by that evening with new covers and installed them, saying that he just wasn't comfortable leaving them that way. He was also personable and pleasant with me, though he spent a rather a lot of time just chatting, rather than simply getting down to work.
