Great job! On time and very professional. Did a beautiful job trimming two large Magnolia trees. Neighbors still talk about how great the trees look. Had them back out this spring to do a soil testing and tree/bush fertilizing.

Very Well. Excellent service and customer service. He comes over when he says he is going to and he leaves a very thorough evaluation.

The Bartlett team came out and did a very professional job. It took a little longer than expected due to (a) Bartlett taking care around utility wires that the trees had enveloped, and (b) Bartlett sending their resources down to the assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew, which is pretty cool. Either way it didn't matter, since we knew the guys would finish the job to our satisfaction. (Hint: They did.) Bartlett Tree Service was neither the least nor the most expensive of the services who bid on our project. We could have gone for a less costly company, but we wouldn't have known the quality of the outcome. But with Gary as our arborist we knew just what we could expect and once again, Bartlett came through.

They know what they're supposed to do. We haven't had any problems.

Very good work, he was timely and professional. They were very nice people and we liked them a lot. They did exactly what they said they were going to and cleaned up after themselves. They even took some additional brush out that was in an area. I appreciated their work.

The fellow I dealt with was transferred to a different location. He was wonderful. He was just fantastic. It was probably about two or three years ago when he was transferred. So I got a different guy who was awful. He was careless. The first guy would go through the property and whatever needed to be done he would write it down. A crew would come out and get all of those things done, always to my satisfaction. They were nice and polite. It was great to work with them. I don't know whether this guy had a different crew assigned to him or what. First of all, he never bothered writing anything down. So a lot of things didn't get done. The specs I got from him omitted a lot of things the first time around. So we had to send things back and forth a couple of times before he got it right. When he was actually here he didn't write anything down. He just didn't seem to give a damn, frankly. He was nice enough. He was polite. Some people actually by name, mentioned him and said, "He was just fine." Those were usually people who wanted trees taken down. So it was really fairly simple. He would say, "Okay, we can get that out of there for you." The name of the first guy was Rich. I was in touch with him annually or more. We would walk through my yard, which is not huge. But there is a lot of stuff in it. Things that I hadn't even noticed, he would notice and say, "That tree is looking a little bit weak. We can put some stuff in the ground to help it." I was so disgusted with the other fellow who cancels an appointment at the last minute one time because it was Arbor Day and he had to go with his daughters to plant trees. He called me around 4 o' clock in the afternoon to tell me that. The appointment was at 5. He wasn't professional. I looked up Bartlett to see who his manager was because I wanted to talk to him. I really couldn't get the information I wanted on the internet. So I called back the first guy. I called him and said, "Rich, I really don't know what to do. The new guy is just a nightmare. Is there somebody out of his office that you could refer me to so that I could have a different agent." He said, "Well, I can come back. Where I am located now isn't that far away. We had a good working relationship. You're knowledgeable. I can come back." So he did. So I'm very happy. The good guy is just absolutely excellent. They're expensive. I think most tree services are expensive. So I would say they're probably in the ball park. I don't think the fellow who preceded Rich was as knowledgeable as Rich. But he was a nice guy. He was prompt and got things done.

Thank you Ben Hartfanft and his crew for an excellent job done. After inquiring with them through Angie's website, Ben contacted me more or less instantly, came to my house and discussed the job at hand and provided a quote on the spot because he has computer and printer in his car. Perfect! His team came shortly after I placed the order with Ben. They did almost everything they promised to do, just missed to grind a couple stumps. I sent an e-mail to Ben and he responded immediately, came back to check and agreed with me. Only short time later he sent his crew again and they ground all remaining stumps and left the site clean and tidy. I was very impressed. Should the need arise I will definitely call Ben again.

My daughter is purchasing a house and she takes care of the cutting the trees. Bartlett Tree Experts did something with the water, we have well water and it was tested and it is very, very good. They were always very prompt, courteous and worked hard and their prices were fair. They were very punctual, very polite.

Not much to say. The two men worked steady, were professional and helpful, and cleaned up after they were finish. Will be asking the company back to install the Dedicated Line for a Portable Generator later this Spring/Summer.

It did take a few weeks for them to come by but I think that was because I did not send in the signed agreement right away. I was not home when they arrived so I did not meet the crew. When I returned, I examined the work and it looked very good. The tree had been trimmed about two feet from the house from the top to the bottom which is what they said they would do. I am quite satisfied with the work.

So far so good. Repeat treatment may be needed.

The tree was also really overgrown so they trimmed it and installed a cable to support the main trunk that has split. They were very knowledgable and offered advice on how to take care of our other trees and shrubs as well. I will definitely use them again.

It went well. I wasn't expecting the pruning of the tree to be quite so expensive, but I didn't figure in for the fertilization. The botanist that came out and did the evaluation of the tree and his company has a fine reputation in our community and our tree looks very nice now. It was quite thick with overlapping branches and growing over the roof of our house. It is the only nice tree we have on the property and I don't want to lose it. I am pleased with the outcome.

There is so many things that Bartlett tree experts do. They are excellent, attention to detail and have been servicing my property for over a year now. I believe that they are competitive in their pricing (of course nobody likes to shell out a ton of cash) but remember, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. The men that came and worked on my trees are professional, knowledgable and respectful. A person can't ask for more than that, right? I'm glad I had the opportunity to share my thoughts about Bartlett tree experts! They are awesome in my book

AREA OF FALLEN TREE CLEANED UP VERY WELL

They came when scheduled- brought all necessary equipment- plenty of personnel. They cut and removed the trees as expected. When some minor damage occured to plantsaround the trees, and to our neighbors grass, they were quick to offer to replace and repair. Ultimately, they gave us a discount for any damage done. They were very professional, well equipped and knowledgable.

The work was performed ontime and acording to the estimate. I hadsomework done earlier in the spring that was also performed well. Trees were pruned and limbs were cleaned up and removed.

Because the work occurs outside, and we have an annual contract for tree and shrub care, they do arrive unannounced. If the dog is out they will ask if the dog could be taken inside. The workers are always very professional and courteous. The company provides a detailed summary of the worked performed as part of the bill. I have seen significant improvement in the trees and shrubs over the last couple of years we have used Bartlett. I highly recommend them if you are willing to make a relatively significant financial commitment to your yard.

Have had an ongoing relationship with Bartlett and its predecessor, Edson Tree Service, for almost 20 years and have been well satisfied with the knowledge, expertise and professionalism of Jim Edson and his staff of competent and pleasant workers.

They are expert at what they do. professional all the way. could be more "seamless" in their billing/invoice efforts. I see a disconnect there as don't do everything on line and the online versus the paper and pencil are confusing for me.

Took estimates from several tree services, Bartlett's was the best price and proposed the simplest plan for removing 3 dead evergreens from a partially blocked section of my back yard. They provided a copy of their insurance, written estimate at time of initial visit, were professional, and were finished quickly. Batlett's arrived at my home with a knowledgable crew and proper equipment. They did exactly as they promised and cleaned the yard before they left. I would definately use them again.

One of our trees was damaged by carpenter ants. I called up Bartlett Tree Experts because we wanted to try to save the tree. They came out and said the best thing we could do was to prune off the dead wood on the tree and fertilize the tree to keep it strong. We got quotes for the pruning (they included 3 trees on the quote) and the fertilization. So far the pruning was done. We're happy with the pruning, they arrived on schedule and cleaned up nicely. The fertilizing will be done later this month. As a side note, our next door neighbor also got a business card from them and had one of their trees cut down. The tree was just cut down last week. From what I could tell the job went well. They had the tree down and they cleaned up and were gone before noon.

Bartlett did a professional job of trimming and thinning two large river birch trees on my propery. I will use them again for tree maintenance work.

Mr Edson came by soon and we walked and talked about the work needed and he took the soil sample. He has not called nor sent the estimate nor even the Soil test results! What a waste of time and expectation. I called 2-3 weeks later and politely spoke with staff at the office who were to ask Mr Edson to call me, but he never did. Why should I chase after his services at my expense? I am also very disappointed that I never received the soil sample result. I recently used another company from Angie's List and was mostly satisfied with them.
