+ -1 moreStay away from T.C.'s P&E, aka Tim Corbin.
Description of Work: This is a follow-up to my last posting. I found the problem was that Mr. Corbin had not followed the installation plan and had installed the wrong voltage pump for the application. After chasing Mr. Corbin for almost two years to properly fix the installation problems, I contacted the state Attorney General's office. The AG tried contacting Mr. Corbin for more than a month, finally getting in touch with him and setting up a conference call with us. Mr. Corbin promised to come on 10/8 to replace the pump with the proper pump. He never showed up, and I have not heard from him since. The AG said the only thing I could do was to take Mr. Corbin to court, but then the chances of collecting any judgment against him were pretty slim. So I am left to hire a different contractor to replace the pump and associated switchgear for about $1500. It's been about 2.5 years of aggravation and about $3,000 over the initial bid of $9,700 to get the job done. When I tell people in the business who I had do my system, they all say "oh no, not HIM!" Stay FAR away from this guy.

+ -1 morePoorly. Initially was responsive, worked around problems with access to the site. However, misread plans for system, resulting in need for extra materials which I had to pay extra for, did not install all of the cleanouts specified on the plans. Finally, system has never worked as it should, pump doesn't work properly, and I have been chasing after him for nearly a year to get it fixed. I would stay away from this contractor.
Description of Work: Installed septic system with a sand mound.
