Valley Grove Construction

As first time homeowners, we were nervous about finding someone to do work on our house, but Valley Grove Construction exceeded our every expectation. From beginning to end, Brian was incredibly professional, responsive, and thorough. He answered all of our questions, walked us through our options, and provided a detailed invoice which helped us understand everything that was being done. When it came time for the work, Brian and Chris were punctual, efficient, completed everything on time or ahead of schedule, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of every day, and kept us in the loop. Perhaps most importantly, we’re thrilled with the quality of work. Everything looks amazing! We couldn’t be happier with our experience with VGC, and we look forward to working with them on our future projects.

Perfect. They were always punctual, worked extra hours, and worked on weekends. They were very professional, took about 1/2 hour lunch break, and cleaned up after themselves. Also, they are non smokers. I am actually hiring them again to put in custom closet doors.

Brian and his crew were exceptional, from their communication to their execution and flexibility. Brian did a wonderful job working with our designer during the initial scoping phase. VGC was able to provide an approximate date to start the work and even was able to start a bit earlier than projected. The demo work was very quick and thorough which allowed the remodeling phase to begin right away. They kept us in the loop with any questions, issues or decisions which enabled the project to move along smoothly. He was very accommodating of any last minute additions, so of which being pretty large in scope. I wouldn't want anyone other than Brian and his crew at Valley Grove Construction to work on my house!

It went great. We selected Brian because he answered all our questions, he was willing to put everything in writing, he had all his insurance and permits. He and Chris - and his other team members and his subcontractors were all professional, polite and completely trustworthy. When you have a crew of guys in your house for 10 weeks, you get to know them fairly well and we always comfortable when Brian and Chris were in our home. They took their time to be sure that the work met their quality standards before they wold show it to us. We've been pleased to recommend Valley Grove to several people and they have actually already completed work on one job where we were the referral and they start at my Aunt & Uncle's next week!

Brian was extremely professional in his communication and appearance. Both him and his assistance arrived when they said they would, if not a little earlier and kept our house clean while they did their work. They are very efficient and focused. I was really impressed with the open communication and professionalism he provided. There were no questions with our invoice, no hidden fees or add-ons, everything was as it was originally presented to us. The finished results exceeded our expectations. While it was a smaller job, I still feel confident in Brian's abilities and would no hesitate to call him for back for other future projects!

It went very smoothly. He did an excellent job as always. He was very prompt in his arrival of appointment time and cleaned up working area so that it was cleaner than when he started job.

Many contractors my husband and I have met with in the past will direct their attention to my husband, which is the biggest reason they don't get our work. I have to be able to trust whoever comes in our home. I am the one there during the day with our children. I also work outside of the home, so I need to be able to trust them completely to be in my home when I am not there. Brian and Chris, in my experience, have been incredible to work with. I have no issues leaving them in my home alone, or leaving a key for them to lock up when they are finished. If they were running late (which was rare), Brian always called to let me know. If there was an unexpected expense (again, rare...I think it happened once when we weren't sure if the wall that was coming down would need a header, but you can't know that in the house I am in until you rip the wall down), Brian quoted it and made sure to get the ok any time he needed to change the cost (again, it was rare). I loved knowing that the quote we were given was actually the price we would be paying. Taking out walls, windows, and hanging drywall can all leave a big mess, but my house was cleaned up EVERY DAY. Anytime I called him, my phone call was returned, usually that same day, if not the next. My family was greeted every day by Brian and Chris with a "Good Morning, Mrs. N.", Brian and Chris showed up EVERY DAY and stayed ALL DAY, which, I believe, is rare. They weren't running off to finish another job. They worked on my house, and my house only until the job was done. I also love that he is Green Certified, makes great suggestions, and is open to working within all budgets. He didn't remodel our kitchen because that was done in 2008 prior to Brian. But once we save a little, he'll be back to remodel a bathroom that I can't stand. I will update this review then, but I am pretty sure it will also be glowing. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

It went very well, the contractor was excellent, and the price was good. He was prompt everyday, did want we wanted him to do, and kept us informed with any issues. We would defiantly call Valley Grove Construction again.

Brian and his team were very clean through the whole process and they showed up on time every single morning, typical start time was 7:30am. I had new tile installed, new lights, new plumbing for the shower and overhead shower head. My wife and had some trouble picking out tile but Brian was very helpful in telling us what sizes he preferred to work with and which sizes could be harder to work with given the size of the floor, height of the walls, etc. I would absolutely hire Brian again.

The project went better then expected. Everyday when the men left for the day the house was left as best as it could be. It was so neat and cleaned up after I was impressed. Everyone was very professional and always was willing to answer any questions as needed. Brian was very quick to return a phone call if he was not able to answer his phone.

They were great to work with. They were reliable, showed up when scheduled to show up. They did a nice job and cleaned up well after. I recommend using them for any job big or small. We have used them for multiple jobs around the home, and will continue to use them. The prices are reasonable, and they really do do a nice job.

This is the second time I used Valley Grove Construction and was equally pleased with their service on both projects. Brian completed the installation and exceeded my expectation. We would recommend Valley Grove Construction for your home remodeling projects and will use them again for our future projects.

Brian and Chris did an excellent job and we are already looking forward to using them again for our master bath remodel. The kitchen project was completed on time and within budget, and there were no surprises along the way. In fact, the completed project exceeded our expectations. These guys work quickly and neatly, making sure to leave a clean work space at the end of each day. Care was taken to ensure the dust from the work area was contained and isolated from the rest of the house. The quality of their work is excellent and you can trust Brian and Chris to work in your home while you are not there. If you have a home remodel project in mind, you can't go wrong with Valley Grove Construction.
