Fast, punctual, and did a great job! We had holes in our plaster ceiling and cracks in the walls, and he patched them up and matched the existing texture. Great job, and even came back to touch up a spot that was missed the first time at no extra charge. We would definitely use Steve again.

So-so. Said there would be no need for sanding before painting but many small ridges. Cleanup inside and out cursory with plaster on carpet and couch, plaster stuck to front porch floor. Repair probably done properly but not enough attention to details.

Steve took care of the work with in a few days of calling him and did a excellent job. I have his number on speed dial and I would call him back if needed.

A large section of an old plaster ceiling fell down. Steve was prompt, accurate, detail-oriented, and thorough with clean up. He was also kind enough to explain the work he was doing when I asked questions. I would hire him again without hesitation!

We had a very large hole in our bedroom wall where a large flatscreen tv had pulled away from the wall. The wall was plaster and other contractors wanted to rip the entire wall out and put drywall up. I finally found Steve and he was professional reasonably priced and his work was perfect. I would recommend him to anyone looking for plaster repair.

Went very well. His bid was almost exactly what my insurance estimated it would cost. Prompt start of an eight day project and finished one day early. Steve worked with his son. They laid down paper and tape to protect our wood floors and then they put down plastic every day before starting work and moved the plastic at the end of each work day. They also swept up a lot of the dust after each work day. I say "a lot of the dust" since the job was messy and I sometimes had to do additional cleaning. Both Steve and his son were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend their services.

Steve arrived on time. He covered the furniture and began removing the damaged areas of the walls. He and his son secured boards on the wall with wire mesh and applied a base layer. The next day they put on the finishing layer. They finished the walls and then cleared the debris. It looked good when they were done.

Steve Schwartz did a great job in plastering my dining room ceiling, two rooms and a bath room. I called him on a Wednesday, Friday he came to see what needed to be done and the job was done in one day on the following Tuesday. He is punctual and super professional, even called me the night before to let me know that he would be 15 minutes late. The house was in perfect condition and cleaned after the job. I will hire him again!

We had a portion of our living room ceiling come down from an old crack/leak that was never properly fixed. It was a mess...needless to say we didn’t know where to turn. We found Steve on Angie’s List. He responded to our message within 24 hrs, he went out of his way to come and take a look and give us a quote. We hired him. He was punctual and did a great job. In fact we had him cut out and patch a crack in our bedroom ceiling before it could fall on us!!

Steve did an awesome job. He was able to meet on short notice and then spent time going through the house and offering recommendations and observations. He was onsite with 3 days and knocked out the work with 72 hours. I inspected the house after all the work was done expecting to have a lot of cleanup to do and there was none. Steve took the time to clean up all the plaster and wipe down all the surfaces. I highly recommend him and will have him work on the house that I'm selling and some additional work on the house, once I make some other repairs.

Great, Steve and his son Robert did a great job repairing and resurfacing our bedroom ceiling. They were on time and communicated well. We would call them again for any plastering in our home.

Steve was very professional from start to finish. Really prompt to return my call, schedule a time to come do an estimate, schedule the work, and complete it. It only took 2 weeks for the whole process. The workmanship was great. He even did a couple of extra areas in the ceiling that we hadn't discussed. And impeccable clean-up job too.

The holes are patched and things look great; now I just need to paint it all.

Great. Steve was responsive from the start. He visited my home, turned around the estimate quickly and started work when promised. He worked around other contractors , gave helpful advice along the way, and did good quality work.

Its holding up so far. I haven't painted over it s far to see how well it will math the area but its looks good enough so i have no worries. I was surprised at how little care they had taken at not getting plaster all over they walls. They also stapled their sheeting directly into the wall.

Steve and his son arrived on time, did excellent work and cleaned up behind themselves. They were very nice and always professional! The cracks were all filled and the bulging wall was repaired. The plaster applied was so smooth that it barely needed sanding!

Steve Schwartz was extremely responsive and totally professional throughout the process. He responded to phone calls and text messages the same day they were placed and submitted a bid/proposal the day after we provided photos and discussed the work by phone. He answered all my questions and provided a competitively priced bid. He called in advance to coordinate the starting date/time for his work, showed up on time as planned/promised, and completed the work as proposed for the agreed price. He was very easy to work with and I would definitely hire him again.

Steven and his son, Robert, did a wonderful job with the drywall and plaster repair to our 1930's home. Several walls on our 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors required repairs when they'd been opened up to replace a sewer pipe that had corroded and caused water damage in one wall. Steven was here, as promised, and completed the work in three days - also as promised. He and his son took great pains to cover the surrounding areas and surfaces so that as little plaster dust and residual debris as possible landed on the other surfaces in the rooms. The work was done well and his price came in almost to the penny to our insurance estimate. When we noted that the prior vendor (water damage remediation team) had removed insulation from one of the walls and it would need to be replaced, Steven graciously offered to replace it for us, even though he was hired to repair the walls, not the insulation. Steven charged us for the insulation material alone and did not increase his labor charges. I highly recommend Steven G. Schwartz for both Plaster and drywall work and would happily employ his services again.

Steve was able to fit me in due to a cancellation of his within 24 hours of our initial contact. He was prompt. He quoted me a price over the phone based on pictures I had emailed him. That quote was exactly what I paid him. The job was completed in 1/2 a day. He cleaned up after himself. He conducted himself professionally from start to finish.

Steve is the best service provider that I have encountered. I called him and he returned my call that day. He scheduled our repair job within 2 days. He arrived on time. He replastered our basement wall and it looked like a new wall and it only took a couple of hours. He made sure he cleaned up after he was finished and charged me exactly what he quoted me over the phone. I will definitely call him again and will refer him to friends.
