This was a complete tear off of multiple layers of old roofing dating back to 1924. We also had them replace some of the old joists that had swayed over the years. The craftsmanship was amazing from the foreman to the crew. Everyone was polite and knew their job. The work was done quickly and efficiently and though a tear off is inherently messy the jobsite was kept neat. The cost was very fair, they did more for less than most of the contractors we got estimates from. We recommend them.

It went OK. I was given a quote and at 5 PM the night before they called and said they mis-quoted it and the cost was going to be double what they had quoted. I chose to have the work done anyway. They showed up, were very professional, and did what I think was quality work (we have not had a lot of rain since completing the job to really test it). The issue is that, while they were there, I asked them to caulk a joint but they would not do it even though they had a 50 foot ladder and 3 guys there and the joint was right next to where they were working. I didn't push the issue and called the office to schedule it for a future time. They have now scheduled and cancelled 5 times. They use the excuse "we need a 50 foot ladder and 3 guys" but they have known that all along so they do not seem to actually be able to schedule effectively and that is why I have to say I would not hire them again.. Very disappointing after what, I think, was a successful first project.

I own a real estate investment company and we just purchased two more properties which needed repair work and replacement. I was given a fair quote by NE Contractors and I was happy with the quality and the outcome of the work. Haven't had any issues thus far. Repair required tiering off the damaged roof section, replacement of the rotten wood decking and installation of the rubber roof. The new roof project required tier down and fiber glass roof installation. I have used these guys for other properties before and never had issues with their quality. I have always been given a fair price and a reasonable timeframe. They can be booked during certain weeks but I think it's worth the wait. You don't want to go to a company that has constant availability because most likely they are free because of the lack of clientele. I know a few of my other friends used them for various projects( from residential to warehouses, developments and churches) which gave me a great piece of mind. Thus far no warranty issues if you stick to the contract terms. I had them come out to fix a leak about a year ago and everything was done fast and free of charge.

After getting quotes from a number of roofers we opted to go with NE Contractors because they were proposing to do the job (flat townhouse roof) using the method/materials we thought would be best (after a lot of research) and for a reasonable price. They also made no attempt to up sell us as some others did. The only problems we ran into were related to communications, e.g., calls and emails to the office (Catherine) were not returned and we were told that the roof coating was included in the price for the roof only to be billed for it separately later on. We did eventually figure out how to get in touch with them and that involved having to email Chingiz (roofer/foreman) directly. He was always quick to respond, answer our questions, or get the office to respond to us for scheduling, etc. In any case, it is too soon to tell about the quality of the work, but we will edit the review if the roof develops problems.

My experience with NE Contractors has not been ideal. I purchased a new home in Feb of this year, which had a newly installed roof and silver coated roof from NE Contractors. In late March, my ceiling in my bedroom sprung a leak. I called NE Contractors, and spoke with Catherine who put me on a and quot;listand quot; to have the workmen come and assess my house. One week passed with no contact. I eventually called and spoke to Catherine who was unable to give me any idea of a time frame for them to come out or an update as to how far I was on the list. This went on for 2 weeks where I was eventually told they'd be there by the end of the next weeks (Total of 4 weeks after the initial call) Someone came out and did the repair and asked that I wait til the next storm to ensure they had got the leak. I did. Unfortunately the leak has not been taken care of. I called back and have since left 2 messages a day for the last 3 days. No one has called me back. I'm still in a state of limbo waiting for someone to respond to my call and come and fix the roof of which they've provided a warranty on. I finally got in contact with NE Contractors and they sent Changlis out to my house to fix the situation. He was extremely helpful to work with and finally found the issue that had caused our leak, he also pointed out two potential future issues. I'm still waiting on a call back in regards to the future issues. But once meeting and speaking with Changlis my opinion has definitely improved of the company. I'm still rating their responsiveness low though due to the waiting period, as well as the inability to give you any estimate as to when they would come and repair the damage.

They were prompt. Their prices were reasonable. They were nice.

Ross is one of the most honest professionals we met. He is the only one who suggested to repair the roof instead of replacing it. He also installed seamless gutters and did not marked up price for materials like other roofing companies did. He showed us the actual invoices for all the materials and charged us for his labor only. His prices are very reasonable since we had 4 different estimates done on our roof. I would highly recommend Ross and his company.

The roof was installed by the seller 6 months prior to us purchasing the house so we were not present for installation unfortunately. This week we have been experiencing a lot of rain where we live and noticed that there was water coming in through our back bedroom from the ceiling and down the well. I called the contractor and explained the situation and they said they could send someone out in a week. I explained that my insurance company would like to send someone out immediately to tarp the roof to prevent more damage to my house. I was told at the time that anyone other company who works with our roof would void our 10 year warranty. I asked what I was supposed to do then about the water coming into my house, the woman said she would give me a call back once she checked the schedule. Over an hour later and after I called back 3 times and left a message I was able to get back in touch with the same woman who was even less helpful this time around, she said that they don't send workers out in the rain and that the soonest they could get someone out would be Monday. I told her that Monday is unacceptable when there is an active leak in the roof that my insurance company could tarp today, the woman was unapologetic and repeated that if we any other company or person tamper with the roof then they couldn't do anything for us. Even my insurance company said they have NEVER heard of a roofing company with this kind of rule that was completely unwilling to help a client especially when the roof is barely 1 yr old! Definitely would NOT recommend to anyone who actually wants to keep the inside of their home dry.

Very professional....The crew arrived promptly on the day promised and started working right away. We were very impressed with the work ethic and professionalism displayed throughout the day. Removed the 2 layers of the old shingles and damaged plywood. Installed new plywood for the whole roof and new shingles. Removed existing siding from our house and replaced it with vinyl siding. Installed new aluminum capping, light mounts and dryer vents. Removed and re-installed downspouts. The installation went well, job was completed quickly and all debris was removed. The quality of the work is excellent. I would recommend them in the future if anyone is looking for siding or roofing. Thank you, Ross, for your excellent service!

I thought they did an excellent job. They were very responsive. They also told us about work we didn't need and did need to do. They were very upfront and honest on what work actually needed to be done.
