They are completely unresponsive. The phone is never answered directly and messages to their answering service are not returned. Electronic messages through their web site similarly don't get a response. They don't seem to have email or are not publicizing the address. My insurance company tried to contact Nationwide directly, their calls were not returned. I couldn't get any response through the answering service or electronically through the web site over a period of 3 weeks and subsequently I lost my insurance discount. They don't respond at all, even to tell me that they can't provide what I am asking for or acknowledge that I am trying to contact them. The owner of the company (someone who likes to be called "Uncle Harry") doesn't seem to understand customer service and seemed very "confused" the last time I did speak to him (over 4 years ago). Perhaps he would be more responsive if I was buying a new system or otherwise spending additional money - I really don't know.
Description of Work: I purchased an alarm system through the builder of my house. I paid a lot of money to add many extra features, such as cell-phone backup and extra zones. For over 20 years they have provided central monitoring of burglar and fire alarms ($180 per quarter) and supposedly maintenance. Now I needed a repair and a statement for my insurance company to affirm that they provide central monitoring to continue to qualify for a $200 discount on my premium.
