MVI Cleaning Services

This contractor was very good for a year but now it has just been problems after problems. They broke a couple of things and never told us about it. They broke a Venetian blind and did not tell us anything. They claimed also that they do not do windows and when we hired them they did windows. The husband came to our house about 2 weeks ago and they did the front windows in the living room after we finally told them that we needed it done. Also the Venetian blinds had this weighted little pockets to hold the drapes it was on the floor. Their cleaning girl throw all the cleaning stuff down the basement steps and if anybody was going down the steps they would have gone flying and been hurt. I reported it to them. They also send you new cleaning agents without introducing you to them. I was just at home and these two cleaners walk into my house and I said who are you and they in turn tell me, we are from the cleaning and they don't speak much English. So I say wait a minute, let me verify who you are and I call Yvonne and she says to me I should leave the girls alone, I am making them nervous in, in my our house. I told her it would have been nice if she could have come with the girls, introduce them to us and show them what I liked, she tells me to leave them alone. When she tells me I should leave the house I say where the hell do you want me to go, I just had a transfusion, your girls are wondering which products to use on the floors and I can't go down to the basement and tell them. These girls previously need more training and I don't want them in my house any more. I need a new cleaning service. They have no respect and had a lot of nerve telling me to leave my house after a transfusion. Everything was good for a year, we had the same girl for a year and everything was good and then they changed her and for the past four months it has just been hell. One day my friend came to my hose to help me hang up curtains in the bedroom and she says the window is broken back here and the taped it up and never told us. I said enough is enough, I don't want strangers in my home especially if you can't respect me. When I call her she does not answer me but when my husband calls her, she answers. The quality used to be good but it has gone Dow hill. She is hiring new people, not introducing or training so I would not recommend them.

Ivone and her cleaning crew arrived on time and cleaned for about 4 hrs. They did an excellent job. Cleaned oven, frig, washer,dryer,bathrooms,entire kitchen,floors and all woodwork. The house sparkled when they were finished. I was very pleased!

Just had my bathroom and hallway remodeled. Even though the construction company did everything to minimize the dust, it was all over the place. I called MV Cleaning Service on Friday based on the reviews on Angie's List. They were highly recomended. I stated my house was a mess and could it be done the following day. Ivone stated her brother would be out that evening to give me an estimate. He gave me the estimate which I thought was very fair considering the extent to which the house had to be cleaned. About an hour later he called and stated he would be there at 8:30 the next moring. They showed up on time and five hours later my house looked like new. You would never know that the day before the remodeling had just been completed. They did an excellant job. I plan to use them on a monthly basis.

They got here a little late due to traffic, but when they got here, they REALLY cleaned! My house has never looked so good. The kitchen and bathrooms sparkle. In the bathroom, they got age old soap scum up completely and my shower looks wonderful. In the kitchen, they did everything including cleaning the oven. The tile floors look great. Not only did they move the furniture to clean under it, they even cleaned under my rugs. They took apart chandeliers and cleaned they so that they look brand new. Everything was dusted and vacuumed, even under the sofa cushions. I feel like I'm in a new home! I love this company and the work that they do. They were polite and courteous and were very pleasant to be around. I have already recommended them to friends.

The service has been very good, but they need to learn how to make a bed properly or else leave it alone. I always remake it when they come. I appreciate the effort, but they just don’t know how to do it properly. Otherwise I really like the job they are doing.The approximate cost is per week.

They were recommended to me by the people that I had bought my house from. The service has gone very well overall! Ivone has been extremely reliable; if she needs to reschedule an appointment, she arranges everything carefully. It’s the same crew that has done the cleaning, year after year. I have a lot of valuables, and they’ve been very careful. They’ve done a great cleaning job.

We are very comfortable using MV Cleaning and were glad to bring them on. Ivonne and her team are warm, caring individuals and we are glad to have them work to clean our home every couple of weeks. They do pay attention to details which we appreciate greatly. At the time of writing this review we have been using them for 6 or so months. We have two cats and a large (but friendly) labrador and the team is entirely willing to work around them which is incredible because so many companies don't like to work with pets. When we come home on cleaning day, all our floors and furniture are fur-free and shining, the house smells great and the kitchen is immaculate. Our linens are changed (we leave new linens ahead on the bed) and the bathrooms sparkling clean (even though our house is older). We haven't had any issue with residue or film left on surfaces which is a pet peeve and something I was worried about. We like how they re-arrange shoes and tidy things up. When we brought MV Cleaning on we were given a list of common cleaning supplies to use (scrubbers, swiffer dusters etc.) and they bought them and billed us for them by sharing the Home Depot bill - all supplies stay at our house and are used while the team is here - it's a good thing.

Overall, the service has been good. They seem to be thorough and their prices are fair. They’ve showed up on time.

The experience was extremely smooth from start to finish. After the initial estimate Ivone provided a list of supplies that they needed. For some of the items she even offered to pick them up for me. The team arrived exactly when they said they would and left everything in great shape when they left.

They do an excellent job and I am very pleased. They are willing to do extra. The first time they came, they did a real cleaning. Because it had not been done for a while and so, they just did a real thorough, spring-cleaning. They did not take down the curtains, but they did everything else. After that it has just been general cleaning once a month. They just do cleaning. I am very happy with their work.

They come on time. They are flexible with my schedule. They do a great job. IVone is easy to work with.

Ivone was easy to get in touch with from the very beginning. She came to my home, we discussed what my needs are and she gave an estimate. Later that same day we had out first cleaning and have been hooked ever since. Ivone always accommodates my schedule and I have never encountered any issues. We are truly satisfied with this service.

Everything went very well. There was a little mix up with the payment because they did not honor the Angie's List coupon. The price did bounce around a little bit. They did give me a credit for $30 for the next appointment. But overall, this was a outstanding experience.

I get a bi-weekly cleaning of my home from MV Cleaning. From my first interaction with them, they were friendly and accommodating. Ivone came to my home to discuss the things that should be cleaned, provided me with a free estimate and a list of cleaning materials I needed to buy. They have come on four occasions so far and I have had no issues with them whatsoever. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in a cleaning service. I cannot be more positive about this company's work or professionalism.

I got them through Angie’s List and they did an excellent job. They showed up on time and did everything. They come every two weeks which is working out very well. They thoroughly clean the house. The first time when they came, they brought in 4 people and did it for about almost 5 hours. They did everything including all the base floors, tiles, and so forth; every surface in the house was clean. Now they are here only for a couple of hours as they do not need to do that much. I have been really pleased with what they did. Their first visit cost me $965 but now for every two weeks it is $165 but, I do have a very big house. It is 4,400 square feet and has five bedrooms, three and a half baths, a huge sun room; it is a very big place and there is a lot to clean and I think that $165 is probably what anyone would charge. They thoroughly followed up and arrive on time; he was here on time before the estimate. They did what they said they were going to do. The one thing I would say is that they were not a little clear on the supplies; regarding who was going to bring what each day but they got that resolved and did very well to finish the cleaning. They very straightforward too; they arrived, did all the work, I did not have to worry about anything. They are bonded certified so that gave me an additional feeling of comfort. Overall they did a great job and they have been good. They were one of the highest rated on Angie’s List that is why I called them.

We have used MV for over a year and continue to - great at what they do - honest, reliable, hard-working.

They opened every closet, cabinet drawer, cleaned every wall, all moldings, inside windows and every surface you can imagine. The house was beautifully cleaned. I couldn't have done a better job myself. We have continued to use them for our bi-weekly cleanings. They do a wonderful job.

We have been using this service for about six months now. We have been pleased with our experiences. Ivone has been great in working to get a crew out to meet our schedule. The staff always show up to do the cleaning on the scheduled day. They are quiet and thorough and clean up after themselves quiet nicely. Our house hasn't been so clean since we have had them coming on a regular basis!

We wanted the house to be really clean, as we have it listed to be rented, but have already moved away. Initially, she seemed really great. I gave her the key, and she went in and gave me the estimate. I agreed to the estimate. I know they did a nice job for the cleaning. They were professionals. I had asked them to place some deodorizers around, since there was a slight smoke smell in the home. However, she did not do that, and we got comments that people viewing the home thought it smelled like smoke, and didn't go for it. I had emphasized that the deodorizers were very important because of the smoke smell, and was disappointed that she didn't follow through on that. When I expressed that to her, she did go back and add them, but it was too late. Additionally, they removed 2 chairs from the house when they did the cleaning, and they left them outside, in the elements. I think that they did a fine job on the cleaning itself. If using them again, I would make sure that any special requests were clearly communicated.

I called MV cleaning services on Friday afternoon and they came on Saturday morning to inspect the house which was a very good inspection, It had been my intention to have separate contractor to clean the rugs but he indicated that he also cleaned rugs and could do the whole job in one day. He said he could do the job on any Saturday. They arrived at 8:30 AM as scheduled and finished by 3:30 PM. The house was in excellent condition when they left. I was very satisfied with the job.

After using another cleaning service from Angie's list and being unsatisfied we decided to try MV Cleaning. MV did a fantastic job cleaning our home. We have two dogs who shed A LOT and track in a good bit of dust and dirt. MV did a top to bottom cleaning and our house was spotless. Unlike other cleaning services they moved furniture and picked up items on shelves to clean underneath. We are excited to have MV cleaning on home on a bi weekly basis and will update my feedback in a month or so.

We were impressed from the beginning. Yvonne responded quickly to our original inquiry. She came to the house and we discussed what we were interested in and she advised us how her staff works. They did an excellent house cleaning and we will be using them twice a month from now on. They are reliable, polite and very hard workers. (update 11/3/15) We still use them and are still very happy. When issues do arise, and they are few and far between, we call and the issues are immediately addressed on their next visit. W We think they are awesome and highly recommend them.

MV cleaning came within days of my initial call to offer an estimate on housecleaning. They provided an initial thorough 4-5 hour cleaning and now have been coming bi weekly. They are polite, efficient and good at their job. I highly recommend MV cleaning.

Ivone came on time and made a careful tour of the house and gave me a detailed estimate. Her two ladies worked in my home for nearly 10 hours. They did an EXCEPTIONAL job, even going into closets, moving things, cleaning, and putting everything back much more neatly than they found it. The house hasn't looked this good in over 30 years! The $500 was for the (much needed) initial, thorough cleaning. Regular visits are, of course, considerably less. I can't say enough about the quality of the work and the professional approach demonstrated.

MV cleaning came looked at the house and gave me a detailed description of what cleaning would be done, products they needed and the cost to do the job. After agreeing to the estimate they came and did the work. After the cleaning we decided to have them continue with regular cleaning bi monthly and still to this dat use them. The cost above was for the deep cleaning which took nine hours and included regular cleaning of 3 bathrooms 4 bedrooms living room dining room and kitchen plus all ceiling fans light fixture blinds inside cabinet including medicine cabinets all hardwood floors They are always on time, responsive and careful will all my property. The bimonthly cost of 260.00 is very reasonable considering the amount of work and time they spend in my house and attention to detail. The only complaint is sometimes I need to call Ivone when I try to explain something to the girls who work here but they don't understand it because of a language barrier. If I need to reach out to Ivone she is also very responsive. I would recommend to others and have in the past.
