They came on really short notice and we were a litle far from where they were located but still came to help us. We needed the house cleaned before Thanksgiving. We had alot of family coming. They did a quick and thorough job. I dealt with Yvonne who was very responsive and pleasant. She kept me posted as to when her staff would be at the house. She acually came to do the job also. I would like to have them back on a bi-weekly cleaning service. I would also like to add some more rooms.

This cleaning service was a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. They were thrilled to have their home REALLY thoroughly cleaned, by people who obviously cared about doing an excellent job.

They were absolutely great. Very friendly and professional. My house was spotless when they left. They cleaned everything thoroughly including under beds. At one point I came back to the house and they had flipped the (heavy) sofa upside down to get the area beneath it. I am bringing them back once a month (the price for the first cleaning was about $100 more than it will be in the future so that they could deep-clean everything) and look forward to working with them again.

Owner, Ivone came to house to give quote. Ivone was very professional and knowledgeable about housecleaning. What a sales pitch she gave me! She stated that MV routinely cleans pocket lights, floor boards, inside closets, all floors (non-carpet) vacuumed and mopped, all bathrooms and other basic cleaning that is included in a service. Also, she stated that they would clean for two hours, based on size of house. Her quote was very high in comparison to companies I have dealt with in the past. She stated that after the initial cleaning, the price would be lowered. Date and time were established for housecleaning. Ivonne stated that her brother, co-owner, Valmor and two other individuals would perform cleaning. First, they were late by 25 minutes and not a phone call. Second, only Valmor and one individual arrived. Third, once cleaning began, they were here for only 1.5 hours and only two people. The cleaning: the worst housecleaning that was ever performed. Nothing that Ivone stated would be done was performed and if so, was without effort. Disappointed to say the least. For example, no dusting of pocket lights, the ENTIRE upstairs was not vacuumed (under the beds was visible dust on hardwood flooring), toilet not cleaned, living room not mopped, microwave not wiped out, water tray not wiped, floor boards not dusted or wiped.......the list goes on and on. They spray products to make things smell clean, but it is not. Valmor was made aware of the inadequacies of the cleaning, apologized and "attempted" to actually clean the house....what a joke! I actually wanted them to leave my house and stop wasting my time! Finally, nothing was complete, Valmor stated they had to leave and next time there would be a total of three people, including him to clean and that they would be here for two hours. Next time never came! I paid them and wasted my money. Would not recommend ever!

MV cleaning service is very reliable and nice to work with. I travel extensively for work and have 2 dogs and a husband who is not a cleaner. Our home was filthy! I was ridden with anxiety when I would come home exhausted to the mess. After the first big clean I was so happy and knew I made the right decision. It is important to Ivone that a good job is done and her customers are satisfied. I now have them come every 2 weeks. They also will change your sheets and start them in the washer. The price is reasonable and commiserate with the service. I would gladly recommend them and I see myself using them exclusively.

Professional housecleaning is a luxury for us at this stage in our careers and our current income level. Still, we've hired a few different companies around Philly here and there over the last five years or so. It's almost always disappointing - the house looks clean at first glance but it's a very thin layer of tidiness. Still we're always hoping we'll find someone who will clean the house the way we would if we had the time to take a full day off and really get serious about it. This year my mother gave us four paid visits from a cleaning service as a gift. After some Angie's List research we hired MV. So far, it looks like Ivonne (the owner/proprietor, with her husband) is that person we'd looked for in the past but hadn't found, who's so personally obsessed with cleanliness that she does a better job cleaning your own home than you would do even if you did have the time. We agreed that the first two visits would be major deep cleanings, to try to get the place back to a good base level, and then we'd talk about maintaining things after that. The first day Ivonne showed up herself, with two other women, and they proceeded to scrub, scrape, degrease, disinfect and dust every surface in the house more thoroughly than has happened since we moved in six years ago. They were much more detail-oriented than anyone we'd hired in the past. For example, they scrubbed the baked-on bits of carbonized food out of the inside of the toaster oven; dissolved the dusty grease that had settled on the tops of our kitchen cabinets above the stove; they took all the books out of our 8-foot high bookshelves to fully clean every shelf (and dusted the books before replacing them); they cleaned every bit of grime out of the waffled pad underneath the living-room rug; they scrubbed marks and fingerprints off of every wall; and generally they moved furniture, got into awkward corners, and did everything they could to completely purge the house of six years' worth of dust, grime and grease. When she walked us around the house after the first visit Ivonne was still noticing and pointing out little things that she wanted to get to next time, but to our eyes the difference was already extremely satisfying. The first visit was expensive, but worth it, the second visit - which still involved some base-level cleansing - was half as much, and the maintenance visits after that were very affordable. We highly recommend Ivonne and MV.

Team did a nice job cleaning, they were prompt, polite and worked quickly. I will keep them coming back monthly.

Where to start??? After the initial sticker shock and conversation, we booked her to start. She wanted to come earlier but we weren't ready- husband had to give key and security code since I was out of town. There was another mix-up with one of the visits but I can't remember what it is now. (I should've done this when it was fresh in my mind!) First visit was ok -- not impressed with overall cleanliness of floor and dusting. They also were to strip beds and wash and fold sheets but they were left in the dryer. I told her about it and she said ok. Second visit - wood floor in kitchen not cleaned - (did it myself and called her) still not impressed... Third visit - Toilet room in master bath was not cleaned AT ALL -when I called Elizondra to tell her that I wanted her to come back and clean it since I had already paid for it, she denied that it wasn't cleaned telling me she had checked on the person that did it before leaving! until I mentioned the toilet bowl still had a ring around it, so she said she would come back. Then I get a call about an hour later telling me, oh she forgot -her keys were stolen and guess what - mine was one of them!!!! I told her to forget it --- I did not want her to come back and then we had to pay to get our locks changed! Next Day - saw a I had a trail of ants from one room to another - tells me my floors were never cleaned either! (we'd had a party day before last cleaning) I know I expect my house to be cleaned the way I would do it if I wasn't working but these are basics.

The owner of the business was super quick to respond to my inquiry, and was able to schedule a group of staff to come out barely two and a half days later!! I'm finding a few things I wish we're paid closer attention to, but Overall, I was impressed with the willingness to bend over backwards. Four people showed up at my new place at 7am on a Saturday! With all of their own supplies and equipment! They were cleaning an empty house. So focus was on getting the whole house ready for me to move in -- three hours later!! I'll be calling them again to give the house another once over after I've settled in!

Exceptional! I found MV Cleaning to be very thorough and responsive. Will continue to use them and recommend them highly.

This company did a great job. I was very impressed. I will now use them every 2 weeks.

The house looks great. They were also the only one who actually came out to the house to give an estimate.

Compared to the competition, MV Cleaning Service was very prompt and professional with estimate and returning calls, great price. A few small details were overlooked, but the house was very dirty to begin with.

On the following Tuesday, Ivone came and later that night, I received a text from my husband when he got home from work saying "The house looks great!" That's a big deal coming from my husband for two reasons: 1. he's a man of few words and 2. I had to lay out my justification, reasons and why hiring a cleaning company was worth the money every month. For him to say the house looks great was the icing on the cake. When i got to see the house for myself, i was amazed. Everything was shiny - i mean, we aren't slobs, stuff is always put away, laundry always done, beds made, towels hung up...but we couldn't keep up with the bigger chores: vacuuming, cleaning the hardwoods and baseboards, head to toe kitchen clean (above the cabinets too!), getting the dirt out of the windosills, etc. All those chores you save for that one "let's get this done day" were done. And when she comes back each month, she will maintain the clean polish and shine she gave my home. Worth every penny!

We used MV Cleaners several times in the past two months to deep-clean various sections of our house. Our house is over 80 years old, and after we moved in I began having allergic symptoms because of all the dust etc that had accumulated over the years. We first had MV clean the entire finished basement, floor to ceiling and all the contents. They did a fantastic job, cleaning everything including exposed pipes and ductwork and cleaning/moving all furniture and unpacked boxes. We then had to have some fiberglass insulation removed and particles got dispersed throughout the first, second and third floors of the house. We called MV on the Thursday before Labor Day weekend, and they came on Labor Day and deep-cleaned the entire house. They again did a wonderful job, incredibly thorough--the house has never been so clean! We will definitely use them again for any cleaning we need to have done. They are very hard-working, conscientious, responsive and thorough. I recommend them highly.

I have found the quality and consistency of their cleaning to be excellent. Their initial deep clean was just incredibly thorough, and the biweekly cleanings have been consistently strong--after they leave there is nothing that I feel needs to be cleaned more or more thoroughly, and things like beds/blankets are always straightened up/folded. Also Ivone and, more importantly, one of the cleaners who comes out on a biweekly basis speak fluent English, so I never have a problem when I need to mention one detail or another. We easily came to an agreement on which cleaning products they would use. In our experience we are getting what we pay for, every time. If I had to give a negative, I would say that I was not terribly impressed with Ivone's brother, but since we only dealt with him once (during the initial walkthrough estimate) that hasn't been relevant. Yes I recommend them.

In the beginning, our home appeared to be cleaned and maintained. As the weeks went on they were coming a little later, and a little later and the cleaning that was 2 1/4 hours dwindled to 1 1/2 hours and I noticed not all things were cleaned. There was a desk I noticed that was not cleaned, only the tops of the furniture were being cleaned and the front of metal lamp shades were being dusted. I mentioned this and said this was to be resolved. Only to find out that this continued along with other items. My home was being dusted with a feather duster and wiped down with damp cloths. I felt I was paying good money for a home that was not cleaned (but dusted) and the kitchen and bathrooms were not sanitized. I cancelled the service in December, 2012 and learned that is is really hard to find a good cleaning service, regardless the "reviews".

Ivone and her team did an excellent job cleaning our house! We have had other cleaning people, and our house has never looked this good when they left. They cleaned closets, dusted blinds, and they cleaned underneath and behind everything. The only "bad" part of it was that they were actually a little early, and I was still straightening up when they got here :-). I'm looking forward to having them come every two weeks!

Ivone called me promptly and arranged a time for us to meet. She reviewed her supply list and then offered to purchased all the cleaning supplies. Our house looks amazing when they leave. They have done one deep cleaning and two regular cleanings. They arrive at the time agreed upon, and do a great job. We have continued our service and will continue to have them come every other week. Highly recommend.

I chose here because of previous reviews and am left disappointing. She was very specific of the cleaning chemicals she wanted, we could purchase our own or she could charge us for hers (not included in quote). My big concern is that I told her I am very picky and I am having them come to do the floor scrubbing for me. When she arrived she had a man and a women with her both of which spoke broken English, so she communicated to them what I wanted (which is fine if that was what I got). I wanted the bathroom floor tile/grout scrubbed cleaned (new space to us). In addition, I told the girl cleaning the bathroom to please focus on the floor grout and tile, as I told Ivonne. The girl (sorry didn't know her name) cleaned both bathrooms and he focused on the kitchen (but forgot part of stove and forgot hood). they were there for three hours. I had to remind the girl to do the tub. I texted my concern to Ivonne but she never responded, and had one of them call and asked her to come by and she didn't. I took the girl to the bathroom and show her the glob of stuff in floor corner and then the guy came and got it up. So I was dissatisfied with the result, and would not recommend them.

Our rental was dirty and depressing when we first moved in. There were dead bugs in corners and grime in the shower. Ivone and her team transformed the place in less than a day. All surfaces were immaculate when they were done. They even arranged my girls' stuffed animals! Ivone is very responsive via phone and upon meeting her I felt that she understood exactly what I needed done and using her services has been a very positive experience. She and her team are professional and pleasant to work with.

They were on-time, responsive, did a great job, and.... I don't know what more to say......I was very pleased. We just had our first cleaning of our two-week routine and , again, they did a great job. Thank you! Katie

First I want to say the Ivone was a easy to work with, and responded very quickly to all my calls/emails. We purchased a home that is in desperate need of of thorough scrubbing Ivone came by and quoted me $320 for the whole house, and $150 for just our finished basement, which included a half bathroom. I emailed her and told her all I could afford was $215 if she could do the basement, and then listed the other rooms that I would like done in order according to how much they could do with the additional $65. Upon arrival at home after they were done cleaning we saw that they did a basic cleaning job in the whole house, so the house did look good, and they put a lot of effort into the kitchen, which looked nice, but the basement was only "wiped down" it was not scrubbed liked we needed. Also, there were urine stains in the upstairs bathroom, I called Ivone and she did come right over, and redid the floor; she said her girl said she cleadned there but that the stain came right back - well after Ivone did it it never came back. So basically they did a good job of regular "maintenance" cleaning, and if you are looking for a cleaner on a regular basis I'm sure they will do a good job.

I was disappointed with MV cleaning. It started the day that Mauro came to the home for an estimate. After he was 15 minutes late, I called and was told he forgot my address so they were waiting for me to call (don't know why they could not call me) so that they could get my address. When he came he was very nice and very thorough, so I do appreciate that. When I scheduled the first deep clean he told me that it would be himself and two other people coming, which it was not on the day of. The people who came were his brother in law and two other people, again though, very nice. Here is where my mixed reviews start. On the plus side, they were extremely thorough! When they were finished, everything sparkled! They were very nice people who were eager to make sure that I was happy. The cons (and why I ultimately decided not to use them) is they moved everything, and I mean Everything. I understand that things will be shifted as you are cleaning, but it almost seemed like they rearranged things how they thought it would look better. Or they took everything off of every shelf at once, cleaned it and then forgot how things went back. Most noticeably, we have a spray air fresher that sits back facing the kitchen, no where near my 9 month old sons toy box. I guess they thought it was a toy and threw it In his toy box! Thank goodness we saw it, or he could have been sprayed as he was going through his toys. Also, the smoke alarm was hanging off the ceiling, the light fixture cover fell off the ceiling (nobody was standing under it thank goodness) and the front part of our tv stand was off and sitting on top of the stand. And finally, I asked them not to organize closets, which they did. Again, very thorough, I just asked them not to do that. When they called almost 2 weeks later to schedule the bi weekly cleaning, they were very apologetic, but the final straw was that I was told they needed my address again because Mauro's brother in law, who did the cleaning, never gave my address back to them! So....is my address just sitting in this guy's car or at his house? That did not make me feel good so it was for all of these reasons, we will not be using MV cleaning for our bi weekly service. Oh, and I was charged more for the deep clean then I was quoted.
