Giroud Tree & Lawn Care

Everything was very professionaly done in a short amount of time. There was a weather delay but work wasm completed very soon afterward.

The estimate was prompt, courteous and professional. I did have to call to get the service going as time was passing in the fall. I did better calling the person who gave me the estimate. The service person did not call me back. They seemed to do a good job. I was sceptical as to whether the grass seed would come up but it did. They did not loosen the surface, as i do for great results, but some seed did some up. Would have been stonger if they loosened the soil but perhaps the pros do not do this. Its time consuming but gives a great result. So..I'm satisfied iwth the service.

They are excellent with tree trimming, and fertilizing. The arborists always provide excellent customer service, especially Drew. His professionalism and knowledge of trees is wonderful. Any time I have to call the office, the staff is personable and friendly and they go out of their way to help.

The men who came did a remarkable job. The tree was beautifully trimmed and shaped. We were asked to inspect the work to be sure that we were satisfied and then they completely cleaned up the debris. The cost was definitely to our satisfaction. I would certainly recommend Giroud to others.

They did a great job. Rob came out to give us an estimate and describe the work they would complete. They needed to schedule the work with PECO as some of the trees were near power lines. I was happy to see that they were so concerned with safety. Rob communicated the expected start date to us and called to remind us before the day. I was very impressed with the amount of work they completed in one day. Out backyard grew by about 20% with all the over growth that was cleared.

I received an estimate from Rob an Arborist from Giroud who said I would be given a 24 hour notice before they came out to do the job, which he did. I changed my mind several times about the services I was going to have done. Rob could not have been more understanding, nor patient with my calls; he was very professional and nice to deal with. The crew arrived on time and got to work immediately.They were very professional and careful with regard to the rest of the property. They executed the job quickly - they arrived by approximately 9:15 and were done by noon. The crew was very personable, knowledgeable and pleasant to do business with. I highly recommend Giroud Tree and Lawn Care and will be hiring them again in the near future.

I made an appointment to have my trees inspected and trimmed by a professional. Erik Rodgers came out to my home at a time that worked for me. He was punctual, professional & honest. He explained how they would do the work & what they would look for. I also got estimates from two other companies, they were all around the same price but I was most comfortable with Giroud. They called the day before they would schedule the job to make sure it was O.K. They scheduled the trimming and Inspection for Thursday and stump grinding for Friday and gave me a approximate time they would start. His three man crew went right to work, one man went up in the trees, while the other men cleared the area of the trimmings and ran them into the chipper. When they were done they raked and cleaned up. We walked the job over and everything was completed to my satisfaction. The following day they ground the stump. I was very happy with the job that was completed on time and budget.

Rob came out promptly to give us an estimate. Giroud was also able to accommodate our needs by coming out one week early to get the job done so that our fence could be completed on time. The tree work was done as requested and there was no need for cleanup.

They are very responsive, will come back if I had a problem and they have a nice office. They do a wonderful job. I have used them for a number of years.

Called Giroud to come out and provide an estimate for some tree work I wanted done. Spoke to their secretary, gave her my info, and she said one of their arborists would call to schedule a time and date. Got a call within a few hours and scheduled for the following Monday. A few days later I received a call from secretary calling to reschedule as the arborist I had scheduled was due to go on vacation. Not a big deal... we should all be able to take time off. Gave them an A overall because they were completely honest and called to let me know what the deal was. I did not reschedule as I had 3 other companies scheduled to come in, but I would definintely call Giroud again in the future for estimates. Can't say whether they do good work or not, or if prices are fair, but they were professional and considerate of my time and schedule.

drew came out to give and estimate very quickly after I called. the work was scheduled promptly and three men showed up on time ready to work. they where all polite, professional and hard workers. job was completed much more quikly than i had imagined and even though we have a fence that was very difficult to move the downed braches past the bob cat operator used great skill.

Called and set-up an appointment for an estimate. The estimator came out and was pleasant and understood what I wanted done. He left me an estimate. I decided not to use Giroud only because of the three estimates I got, his was the highest. If I need this type of work done again, I have no problem in getting another estimate from Giroud.

Contacted Giroud through the website and had an appointment scheduled within 2 days for an estimate. Rob came out gave me a price and I agreed. Told me they would be back in2 weeks to do the job. They met the schedule and did the work agreed upon. I am very pleased with this company and would use them again and would also recommend them to anyone.

Had estimate done for pruning 10-12 pine trees and some general yard clean up. Person that they sent was punctual and professional. Seemed competent. Price was way, way out of line. They quoted $7,000. Other quotes for the same work ranged from $1,500-$3,000. I can't say for sure but I think I got a price jack up because of the neighborhood I live in. Won't be calling them again.

They are fantastic. They have been excellent. I had an emergency in 2010 and there was lot of tree damages. They came immediately and I have been using them ever since for tree work, cabling, pruning and everything. They are very knowledgeable and are very good. They were here whole day long and did a fantastic job. I have recommended them to my niece. I didn’t have anything to compare their price but I thought it was reasonable.

They provided us first the best estimate for the work to be done. They stayed in touch with us as to scheduling. They came, provided the work and cleaned up beautifully. They called a few days after to check on our satisfaction.

They did a good job. The pricing was a little high.

Overall, the experience has been good. In the beginning, I wasn’t too thrilled with their work. I called them, and the technicians came out the next day. They addressed my concerns and I’ve been happy with their services since.

Overall a good experience from the quote process to the guys who did the work. They also trimmed a few trees for my neighbor at the same time and they were also happy with the work.

Giroud is a first class company with impeccable customer service and extensive knowledge. Their expertise is the difference between going to a specialist versus a general practioner. I would highly recommend their services for all your lawn and tree needs.

Overall, the experience was fine. It wasn’t completely to our satisfaction, but it was fine. The technicians were efficient, cleaned up very nicely and everything they did they took care of. They gave us a $100 coupon.

I called on a Friday, they came out to give an estimate that Monday. Scott was on time, very professional and informative. Originally stating they need two to four weeks to schedule, when he learned of my impending construction and time constraints, he called later that day and had me scheduled for the very next day. Bill arrived the next day, he was very professional. His crew did a great job, they were quick and cleaned up as well. Super pleased with their work.

Last fall he refused to trim the tree because it was in my neighbor’s property, but they extended over 28 feet into property. Now the limbs have ripped off into my property. They made a mistake because now because the limbs have fallen off and is probably is dying; it would have been fine if he would have just trimmed the limbs. It would have fine if he just would have trimmed the tree. Then a couple weeks ago I called, and this lady answered I told her what my problem was and she told me that they would be contacting me. They never called so then I had to contact them again and they were supposed to come Thursday, but no one came out and I haven’t heard from them.

Just super, came on time, trimmed P**** Willow, still made it look like a tree. Did a great job of cleaning, including some old branches that were broken off and laying on ground. Giroud,s crew were terrific and did the job in a very short time, worked from the minute they got here to when they left. Giroud is the tree people you want to do your work, even gave me $50.00 off for being an Angie's list member.

The crew showed up on time. The foreman, Dave, came to the door, introduced himself and started working with his crew. They were finished with the trees and the cleanup by lunch as planned. We were very pleased with all aspects - the people, the work and their follow-up. I would definitely use Giroud again.
