Very responsible and respectful from start to finish. Very customer satisfaction oriented - even the secretaries at the office. Gave a good estimate and kept to it. Came promptly. Welcomed my questions and oversight. The trees look great. All were careful to work for the health of the trees and not trim so much that the tree's health would be jeopardized. I would certainly use them again.

I think they did a good job. I have since hired them again for spraying for annual tree care. This was a great overall experience and excellent service.

Two men came to our office and went over the contract with me as to what I wanted and what was also best for the trees. They were very careful with cutting the large branches so that they would not hit our other buildings. When finished they asked if everything looked OK, and if there was anything else I wanted, everything looked fine. They cleaned up all the wood leaves and chips.

Scheduled an estimate during my first call, and arborist came when scheduled. Followed-up several weeks later to see if we were still interested. Kept in touch to schedule work at mutually convenient time. We were not home when the work was done, but that did not seem to be a problem. The work was done according to the estimate, and all the debris was removed (even some branches we had cut down ourselves). Invoice came in the mail within two weeks; had to call about the coupons, because the invoice reflected the full quoted price, and it's up to the customer to deduct for the coupons.

They did a good job of trimming it. They also left the logs in a neat pile for me at my request. They were very good, I would recommend them.

They did very well and I was impressed. The service was great and I would recommend them to anyone. They were on time, friendly, and made sure to answer all of our questions.

Mike arrived as scheduled to provide diagnosis of ailing tree and estimates to cut ailing tree and treat remaining two. Technicians performed treatments as outlined and scheduled. Due to high cost I decided on another company for the cutting and stump grinding service. Completely satisfied with Giroud's service. Only time will tell if tree health improves.

Overall it went excellently. I called the company on Monday. They came out to do the estimate on Tuesday morning. We reviewed the job via cell phone while he was in the yard. I was given the price right then. We agreed to the price and I was told that someone would be out the next day. Someone was out on Wednesday, bright and early. Although I was not there, my sister was. She had only nice things to say about the service man who greeted her. When I arrived home. The tree was gone and all that remained were the logs I requested be left for firewood. As of this typing, I have not received the bill, however I am confident that it will be as stated. A pleasant surprise would be if it was lower. We'll see.

I had gotten a free estimate from Giroud's representative; I considered it fair, since it fell in the price range I had anticipated. The company called me a day before they were to do the work, just to let me know they were coming. I went to work as usual, after the crew had arrived. When I arrived home, the tree was gone, and so was all debris, branches, etc. There wasn't a sign that they had been there, no trash, papers, etc. I was very pleased. A couple of days later, one of the crew returned with their stump grinder. He ground out the stump and all surface roots, except the end of one. That one, the young man explained, had already started under my walk and he didn't want to cause damage. When he was done grinding, he raked over all the remaining chips to mulch the bare ground. I am extremely pleased with the promptness, reasonableness, care and courtesy of this company.

After a local tree guy came around several times and gave me an estimate for pruning my trees ($650), I wanted to compare his price to another company's. I called Lou Giroud and they sent out an Arborist to do an estimate within a few days. Giroud's quote was considerably more because they were going to remove several trees in addition to pruning others. Giroud's office called to confirm the estimate appointment, then the Arborist himself called to confirm. The arborist was 30 minutes early and waited for me to arrive before going over the property with me and explaining what he would have done. He spent 45 minutes talking with me. I told him I'd think it over, then I contacted him the next day to set up the service. He scheduled me for the following week. Everything went smoothly and the customer service was phenomenal. The Arborist followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied with the service, and I am! I had a $50 coupon that was good for $250 or more worth of work.

Excellent. The estimator/salesman came out in December 2006 and walked through the property with me, explaining the trees and what he recommended. He gave an estimate which I eventually accepted. He called a couple of days before the work was to be done to give me a heads up the crew was coming out. A crew of five guys spent a full day working on my property, giving the trees a complete makeover, and it looks great. The crew cleaned up the debris nicely. I also learned a lot about my trees in the process.

Work was very professional. Clean-up was excellent. Work on the Locust tree, was the best job by any tree service, I had in the past 10 years. Price was a little expensive, but you get what you pay for!

The work was quickly schedule. The crew showed up on time and completed the work. They area was clean at the end of the job.

Indicated there was nothing that could be done. The tree was just old. Very prompt and courteous.

My overall experience was pleasant. The representative came out and looked at the trees and explained everything that needed to be done. He recommended some other things that needed to be done to the yard as well.

SALESMAN WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. WORK WAS PERFORMED WHEN PROMISED BUT WAS A TWO MONTH WAIT. THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB.

OVERALL SATISFIED WITH SERVICE. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE FACT THAT I RECEIVED A CUSTOMER SURVEY FROM THE COMPANY, AND THEY SEEM TO EMPHASIZE QUALITY. AS THE SALES REP TOLD ME, THEY WOULD NOT BE THE LOWEST QUOTE, BUT THE WORK WOULD BE OF HIGH QUALITY. OUR TREES DO LOOK MUCH IMPROVED, AND SITE CLEANUP WAS GOOD. ALTHOUGH THE SALES REP WAS COURTEOUS, MY ONLY QUIBBLE WOULD BE THAT HE WAS A BIT PUSHY WHEN IT CAME TO COMMITTING TO DOING THE WORK AFTER THE ESTIMATE WAS PROVIDED. MY GUESS IS THAT THEY GET A NUMBER OF CANCELLATIONS FROM POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WHO MIGHT GET A CHEAPER QUOTE AFTER COMMITTING TO THE WORK. IN THIS CASE I BELIEVE YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

WE HAVE USED THE LOU GIROUD TREE SERVICE MANY TIMES OVER SEVERAL YEARS AND CONTINUE TO BE IMPRESSED WITH THEIR EXPERT KNOWLEDGE, QUALITY WORK, AND GENERAL PROFESSIONALISM. AS USUAL, THEY COMPLETED THEIR WORK IN LESS THAN ONE DAY. CLEANUP IS SOMETHING THAT WE FEEL IS A PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT PART OF THIS SERVICE AND THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB AT THIS.
