He did an excellent job. It's looks great. They did it in one day and also did some extra painting on our front Door. They were very careful and put tarps down to keep the house clean. He came on time and worked Very efficiently. Will use John for future projects.

Service exactly as described; My only suggestion to future clients, is if you have plantings close to the house you want preserved tell them about it, prior to the project starting!

I needed some painting in my apartment on very short notice, so my dad directed me to his trusted Angie’s List account (this account). I quickly found Dominic’s, they answered my first call and were very quick to get me an estimate the following day. The painting was scheduled for the day after the estimate, which was much appreciated because this had to be completed by the end of the week. (To give you the full picture: I was told I needed to re-paint the colored walls in my apartment on a Saturday, I called Dominic's the following Tuesday morning, the estimate was Wednesday, and they painted on Thursday!!) The day of the painting appointment, they showed up exactly on time and worked very quickly. It is all finished now and they did a fantastic job on my apartment. Both painters were courteous, I trusted them while I left the house to escape the fumes, and they left my apartment as clean, if not cleaner, than they found it. They even agreed to paint a couple of small walls which had not been included in the estimate the previous day. I highly recommend Dominic's Painting to everyone! Get the Angie’s list coupon while you can, it is definitely a great deal! And the best part: I passed the Landlord's inspection :-)

Dominic did a terrific job! They worked to squeeze us into their schedule and were very professional. I would definitely work with them again.

They called in advance and showed up on August 1st as planned. They started by power washing the whole house and then caulked up all of the trim work. They came back the next day and started painting the trim work and finished up the job on August 5th, due to rain they had to wait a couple of days. We were very happy with the work and so were a few my neighbors that they hired them to do work on their houses. Highly recommend them for anyone who needs painting.

He came out and looked at my fence and said it would be $1600 for the job. I ended up finding someone who would only charge me $250.

We were completely satisfied with both the work and the price. Joao is extremely neat and takes his time making sure the area is prepped properly to do the best job possible. I have seen Joan go over his work repeatedly when necessary to get the desired result.....and he is pretty much a perfectionist, which is wonderful!!

I called Dominic Painting last after receiving estimates of $11k - 13k for what I wanted to do. This was before I decided to change the wood work on my balcony. HIs price was $3,000 cheaper than the others but I wasn't sure about Dominic Painting initially because he had 22 great reviews of much smaller jobs vs. the 50-100 reviews of the other larger companies. I asked to see his insurance and talked to him further in details of the job just to be sure he was capable of doing the job and although he assured me, I felt I was still taking a chance. Well, I'm so happy I used his services because from start to end, he was professional, sweet, accommodating, and extremely reliable. John, the owner, and two other workers showed up everyday when weather permitted, at 8:30 AM for more than 2 weeks to finish the job. He did over and above of what he had to do to make me happy, including moving a robin nest under the eaves before power washing the house and putting it back afterwards so the eggs would not be destroyed because I had been concerned about the nest.He asked a Sherwin Williams specialist to come to meet me before starting to talk about the best paint to use for covering the brick and vinyl siding. He also allowed me time to make the final decision on the shutters after they've painted the other surfaces. Since I saw that he was a carpenter as well, I asked him to make chippendale railings on my balcony and change some rotted boards. When he finish the railing, I felt my design left too much space between so I asked him to redo it. He was patient and did not get annoyed at all because I think he just wanted to make the customer happy. I choose a yellow color on my doors which he had to put over 6 coats of paint to cover the previous dark red. The baby robins hatched and flew away before he painted the eaves so everything worked out beautifully as you can see in the photos. I have recommended them to all my friends and I hope he has success in his business.

We found him on Angie's list. I called for an estimate of the work that we needed to do. He was available within the next day or two and was very prompt with our appointment. Although we were not able to use an Angie's list coupon, the price of the job was comparable to others that he had heard about. A drop ceiling would have made our already slightly low ceiling even lower. It all looks so nice and clean and actually larger. We are very happy with the job he did!!!

We had just moved to the area from out of state and I found Dominic's Painting and saw their great reviews so I called right away. I spoke with Colleen, who couldn't have been nicer. I explained our situation, how we had just moved from out of state and had 2 very young children - we just wanted their rooms painted and setup right away to help with their transition into the house. She understood and when I asked if someone could come out Saturday *just 3 days away*, she was unsure and said she'd call me right back after checking with her husband (John) about availability. She called 5' later and when she said he could do it, I was elated! I bought the "2 Painters for a Day" and arranged for 8am that Saturday. John and another gentleman arrived on time and were professional, neat, cleaned up when done and they did a fabulous job!! We couldn't have been more pleased!!! What a great job - ceilings, walls, doors, trim, etc - everything just looked wonderful. We will definitely be calling again when we're ready for more painting!! Thanks so much for coming out SO FAST and really helping to make our kids' transitions into their new home (and new rooms) a smooth and successful one.

Everything went beautifully. John and his assistant showed up on time. They finished a day earlier than estimated. And the finished product is absolutely perfect. We are already planning the next projects for Dominic's painting to do for us.

The quote was for approximately $20000. They were excellent. They were prompt in getting back to me and on coming out on time. The only thing that we had a problem with was that my dad is elderly and has a hard time understanding people where hearing is concerned. The gentleman who came out did not speak really good English so there was a language barrier. Price wise they were comparable with everybody else. We have not decided on whom to go with yet.

John(the owner) responded promptly to our email. He came out on date and time agreed on, gave us an very good estimate compared to 2 other painters who also came to the house. He told us the job would take approx. 2 weeks and was done in that time frame. We were in the process of putting my elderly mom's house up for sale so in the process of his painting, a few smaller problems came up that needed to be remedied. He knew exactly what to do and was happy to help us out. He is a carpenter by trade so that came in handy for us.Everything was done perfectly and he continued to communicate with us during the 2 weeks he was at the house. It couldn't have been easier. We would definitely recommend Domenic's painting and we will absolutely use him for any of our own painting needs in the future. It was a pleasure working with him!!

We called John on Friday 11/16/12 after we had a small leak from our bathroom that stained our dining room ceiling. He came out promptly Monday to give us an estimate. John got back to us with an estimate by Wednesday and Saturday 1/24, he was able to do the job. John did an excellent job, our ceiling looks great. He was on time and did a good job cleaning up. After he left you would never know we had someone painting in the house. I had a past experiences with a larger well known company and they left the house very messy when they were done. I would recommend John and would use him again.

It was a GREAT experience and I will be calling John again for more jobs. From start to finish he was excellent... The job LOOKS great and I can't be happier :)

If you need a great job done in your home then you must hire John Tavares of Dominic's painting. John arrived on a Friday at 5pm to give us an estimate, which is exactly what we paid. He started the job on the day we requested and told us exactly how long the job would take. John arrived every morning between 800 and 830 am . He worked all day every day . The wallpaper had been on the walls for about 20 years and was very difficult to remove but John worked at removing and repairing until the walls looked like new. All of our floors and furnishings were protected. John is meticulously neat and clean. There is not a drip or mark anywhere on any of my walls. They look absolutely fabulous. My floors and carpeting and furnishings do not have a drop of paint on them. He even sanded our doors and hand sanded 2 wrought iron railings and bought specialty paint for them. They have not looked this good in 20 years. My home looks absolutely beautiful and I have John Tavares of Dominic's painting to thank for it. I have recommended John to my family and friends and I do not hesitate to recommend Dominic's Painting to everyone. John will do a great job . He did a wonderful job for me and I will be hiring John again in the Spring . You will not find a harder worker , a nicer person or better painter no matter where you look. Not to mention that when the painting is done John replaces all drapery hardware, furniture and rugs. Then he dusts all the furniture and cleans all the floors . I could have had a party after John was done . I just want to thank John for a Job well done . Once again I cannot recommend enough that you hire Dominic's painting . You will be as happy as I am .

I called and left a message that I was interested in having a small painting job done late on a Wednesday afternoon and they returned my call within a couple of hours. We set up an appointment for John to come out to make an estimate on the following Saturday. He came out, looked at the job and told me he would have an estimate to me in a couple of days. He did email the estimate a few days later, but I was unaware because it went straight to my junk email folder, Once I discovered it, I emailed him back (Thursday evening) and requested that he start the next day, Friday, He called me back within hours again and told me he would be there at 8 am. They showed up early on Friday and Saturday, worked all day (there was an extreme amount of scraping to be done). They did a beautiful job and they completely cleaned up after themselves.
