Payment of $60 included a tip because John also cleaned off my car - thank you!!! John has provided painting services in our home also and is a hard worker. This snowstorm was incredible, over two feet of snow that John cleared by hand. He also swept our steps and cleaned off the car. Hard work, much appreciated!

It turned out to be more expensive than I thought, even though I provided the paint, so decided not to do it.

I needed some small exterior painting done as a test to see if we could find a good painter to do the rest of our home. I saw the special Domini's painters was running through this site, along with the good reviews, and figured I would test them out. I wish I could rate their performance because after I purchased the promotional offer no one has contacted me in over 2 weeks.....I've sent a few emails in and nothing. I sent Angie's list CS service a note about the situation and they have not responded to them either. I'm waiting for a refund or potentially a replacement painter. As my note to them said, I was in no rush to have the work completed, just confirm that you received my order, which is Angie's List policy, and give me an approximation on when the work could be done. This company has not responded to anyone and I would stay completely away from them or you could find yourself in my situation...Out $299.00 and still nothing painted. Awful experience!!! *Update: While my experience with this contractor was frustrating I will say that Angie's list was great to deal with.....they tried to get a hold of them for me and refunded my money immediately. I would have no hesitations continuing to purchase "deals" from Angie's List going forward.

John was very professional, on time and completed the work in record time.

That was fine; there were no problems at all.

Dominic arrived promptly and finished the work with no issues. I would use him again and refer to friends and family.

This was my ninth time working with John and I was very happy with the work. In fact, he's coming back in a couple weeks.

Experience was great. John was very professional when he was in my house which is very important becasue my kids were there. He cleaned up after himself each day.

It was fine. He did a good job. He stopped sooner than expected. He said he would give us an additional two hours of time but he didn't use the full time. It was an excellent price. We haven't used them since that one time.

My job is still only half done & he will not give me the time for finishing the same! The end result is that I have a half done job with a lot of residual paint sitting around! Will have to get a credit as well as find another painter to complete the job!

Easy t o do business with. Prompt, comprehensive quote. We agreed on paint type, payment method and date Flexible on job start date (we needed him to do pressure washing on a day when we had no company). Left the place spotless - no damage to bushes, no paint drips, left place as he found it.

John accomplished a lot in a short time and was very nice - a pleasure to work with. He also cleaned up everything very well. I am hoping to have him to more work in my home.

Dominic arrived on time, with the supplies we agreed to in advance. He set to work and removed the old tile ceiling which was stained and falling down. He removed the tiles the nails the staples and the old molding. He installed the new dry wall ceiling, taped, speckled and cleaned up the area he repaired and the garage where he was working. I was so pleased I will have him back to do other painting and shelf installation.

They were out of the service area, but very responsive.

WE HIRED JOHN TAVARES OF “DOMINIC’S PAINTING” TO PAINT THE OUTSIDE OF OUR NEARLY 50 YEAR OLD CAPECOD. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH JOHN AND THE WORK THAT HE AND HIS ASSOCIATE DID. WHILE MUCH OF OUR HOME IS BRICK, THERE IS A LARGE ATTRACHED 2 CAR GARAGE OF WOOD, A FAMILY ROOM, A LARGE SHED DORMER IN BACK, 2 DORMERS IN FRONT, AND THE ENDS WHICH ARE CLAPBOARD, AS WELL AS 27 WINDOWS WITH ONE A PICTURE WINDOW WITH A SEPARATE STORM JOHN AND HIS ASSOCIATE DID EXTENSIVE PREPARATION WORK. THERE WAS WOOD ROT BELOW THE BACK DOOR WHICH JOHN WITH HIS SKILL AS A CARPENTER EXPERTLY REPAIRED. HE ALSO REPAIRED SMALLER AREAS. THEY SPENT A LOT OF TIME REPAIRING AND SMOOTHING IRRIGULARITIES IN THE CLAPBOARD AND IN MANY OF THE WINDOW SILLS. HE ALSO DID SPECIAL PROJECTS FOR US, DID THE DETAIL WORK OF PAINTING OUTDOOR LIGHTS, SHUTTERS AND THEIR HARDWARE, REPLACING THE FRONT DOOR BRASS PLATE, AND OTHER DETAILS. HE REDID ANY AREA THAT WAS NOT TO MY OR HIS LIKING. JOHN RECOMMENDED AND USED THE BEST PAINT, GAVE AN ACCURATE EXTIMATE OF TIME FOR THE JOB, WAS TOTALLY RELIABLE ON ALL ASPECTS, AND DID IT ALL FOR A VERY, VERY REASONABLE COST. YOU CAN NOT DO BETTER THAN THAT. I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND JOHN OF “DOMINIC’S PAINTING”.

John called the same day and asked if he could come by for an estimate of what I wanted to have done. He came by he was very polite and he assessed the entire house. It was obvious that he knew what he was talking about and that he has been in this business for a while. That night, he emailed me an estimate and we went from there. When he arrived to do the painting, there was a mistake with the paint from the hardware store. John was willing to go to the paint store and get the right paint and still work on the areas that we discussed, even though I was responsible for mistakes since I agreed to buy the paint. John respected our home and was very professional.

Good. John helped choose the right color for the stucco and it looks very nice.

I was in communication with the provider trying to get an appointment set up, but haven't heard from the provider since and it's the week the work was supposed to be done.

Vendor indicated that he was out of our service area. This vendor came up as in our service area in our search for a vendor

A GREAT JOB BY DOMINIC'S PAINTING. THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME AS SCHEDULED. EVERYTHING WAS NEAT AND CLEAN. MY FAMILY ROOM AND POWDER ROOM LOOK FANTASTIC. THIS IS THE SECOND JOB DOMINIC'S HAS DONE FOR ME. THEIR WORK IS SUPERIOR. I LOVE THE RESULTS I GET WHEN THEY WORK FOR ME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.. THEIR CRAFTMANSHIP, PRICE AND WORK ETHIC ARE SECOND TO NONE.

Very good experience. John was there everyday and completed the job in one full week. He took care to minimize dust and clean up everyday. The final job looked very good. His price was very fair compared to other quotes and there were no issues with the final payment. I would recommend him to anyone.

John was great - very professional. Finished the job early. I would use them again.

It went very well. The one day ended up a two-day job, but it a great deal. He was very responsive to my call, came out and gave me an estimate within 24 hours, was able to fit me in his schedule even with the snow within a week, very clean and polite, and did a great job. The price was fair considering he made some touch repair and also painted closet and the ceiling.
