Comfort Air Control

Terrible. This was a home warranty service call. They came out poked around, claimed the AC had a coolant leak and the warranty doesn't cover it. This same company came out one year ago with the same issue, AC unit needed coolant - no indication of leak at that point, first service on a 40 year old unit. But needing refrigerant one year later - no. Fool me once.... I told him no, and called my warranty company. This issue is covered and it will be fixed or replaced. But the warranty company can't do anything until they receive the diagnostics from Comfort Air Control The company has yet to send it. They did however send notification to the warranty company that the service was complete. Terrible company - do not ever call them or give them your money.

Run, don't walk, away from this company. I can't express strongly enough how horrible this company is! I was actually fearful for my safety and my son's safety because of this man. They must only stay in business because home warranty companies use them. Worst service that I have ever received in my life!!

Our home warranty company sent them. The man who came started out skeptical of a crack even though it had been found and tagged by another company. He did an air sample study and told me the furnace was working correctly. He could not show me proof of license or insurance for the business. I did not trust his work or lack of professionalism. Another company was sent out who did find multiple cracks and told us the heater was unsafe to operate as it leaked carbon monoxide! I'm glad I trusted my instincts or my family could have been sickened or killed.

I called in the provider this morning to repair a drainage problem on the central air conditioning unit. The provider was responsive and sent their person the same afternoon. Once the technician diagnosed the problem, I talked to my home warranty company to check if they would cover the cost of the repair. I also talked to the Comfort Air's receptionist to confirm that they would honor the warranty company and would only charge me $160 total instead of charging me on an hourly basis. When the work was done, I told the technician that I am only supposed to pay $160 (per my conversation with Ada, the receptionist). Roman the technician connected me to the manager (Sam) and he started shouting at me. He called me a cheat and just started abusing me. I hung up the phone and paid Roman the $260 for the service. Needless to say, I am appalled by the level of professionalism of this company and the behavior of their manager. Definitely not the way to treat customers (btw, he did say that he didn't care about any reviews)

I was using this contractor multiple times for two houses I own. Always the best possible service, always on-time, always return phone calls, always offer few alternatives for every repair needed. I would recommend this guy very highly to anyone in need for A/C , heater related problems.
