George returned my call same day and scheduled a quote. Quoted me a great price for good quality carpeting and was extremely professional and knowledgeable with what needed to be done. My wife and I went into his store to see floor samples, placed our order and it was ready for install in a week. George’s workers came by at the time given and were quick with removing padding/ old rugs and installed the new in a few hours along with the flooring.

Purchased a new home and had George out for an estimate. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. After getting other estimates we decided to go with George. He offered a good price and we were happy with the selections because we got to see them firsthand in his store. We got Luxury Vinyl Tile in the entryway and dining room. Also carpet throughout the rest of the house. Installation was scheduled around other work being done in the house. And when we had a concern during the installation we called George who was quick to respond and resolve the issues.

The purchasing experience went well. There were issues with the contract installers that included damage to a wall, a broken floor tile, and a poorly done seam. The owner of the store was very responsive and ensured that the contractor resolved the issues to my satisfaction.

Great place. George was great during the entire process. Helped us find exactly what we wanted (wife had specific color in mind) and had a great all-in-one price. Removal, pad and carpet, 1 low price. Installers were quick and did a good job. Really hard to understand but they did a good job, that's all I care about. George called me after and made sure everything went well and was in total communication the entire time. The icing on the cake was that once we picked our carpet George called and found out that carpet was being discontinued. He took the time to call his rep and found out another run of it was being done. He put us in for it and followed up on it. (it was the color my wife REALLY wanted for my son's room). Close to the install date, he called and said he was able to secure the carpet. This was great news. Everything went very well and we will be using him when we are ready for the master bed to get redone.

The sales and follow-up experience went well. There were, however, issues with the contract installer. They arrived well beyond the time window we were given, neither installer spoke English, and the seam in the Berber carpet in the rec room was frayed. George, however, ensured that this and a couple other installer-related issues were resolved to our satisfaction.

The work was finished within the time frame and initial estimate that they provided. You really get that personalized, family oriented feel when visiting the shop and the owner is very involved throughout the process. I would highly recommend them!

He came out and measured, gave me samples, was very friendly, we were not going to do it, but because of him being nice, we had him do the work.

I received in-home service for my carpet buying, George came to my house with lots of samples. Installation was quick and they did a beautiful job. I would use them again for all of my flooring needs

They were great. They were very patient with me, did a terrific job, cleaned up afterwards. They were fantastic. I would recommend them to anybody.

I called George at Carpet Buying Services for an estimate on carpet for my finished basement after having used him last year for bedroom and hallway carpeting. When I explained what I was looking for he brought several samples out to my home for me to look at. George measured the room and gave me a price for carpet & padding and I was able to keep the samples for a few days to decide. My husband and I returned the samples to George at his warehouse and ordered the carpet. The price quoted was excellent but when I decided to have the carpet glued down instead there was no decrease in price from the original quote for carpet with padding. I questioned this but since I neglected to have everything spelled out on the estimate I paid the original quoted price. When the carpet came in I set up an installation to follow a week after painting I had done in the basement. The installers came on time and spent most of the day installing. Sadly they were very careless and totally nicked up the newly painted baseboards and even nicked up the ledges where they laid their tools. They also ran out of carpet and couldn't do the stairs that day. I was told by the installers and George that the mistake in the amount of carpet was caused by the mill not sending enough but I have no way of knowing whose mistake it really was. When they finished they didn't vacuum up the bits and had punched a hole through the wallboard in a storage alcove. When I spoke to George about the problems he quickly ordered more carpet for the steps which was installed the next week and had cove board installed to fix the hole in the wall. In the end I was happy with the carpet but in the future I would request a more professional crew to do the installation as I had no problem with the installers he sent out previously.

The owner came out to measure and provide advice on which would be our best choice to meet our needs. The square footage/installation price was a little higher than originally stated when I first met him at the show, but it was still competitive. The installers were prompt. My only minor complaint to them would be that they are a little rough on the walls while carrying in the carpet, but I'm a good painter so it was no big deal for me. They really did work hard as it is a large room and was a glue down job. Actually, the quality is very nice. There are two seams in this large room and no one can find them.

THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT. THEY WERE IN AND OUT WITHOUT A HASSLE. IT WAS SIMPLE, FAST, AND EASY. THE CARPET LOOKS GREAT AND IS DOING WELL AFTER 9 MONTHS.
