AAA Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning

I had several contractors give me estimates on replacing my HVAC system. AAA Brothers was most economical and responsive of all of the vendors I contacted. We let them in the house in the morning, left them alone to do the job, and then came back when they were done.

I am writing this 1 hour after I contacted them and they just fixed the problem. I was very happy with the cost - they charged me the minimum for service call - he removed the filter we got stuck in the heater and when he left it was working again. Also replaced the filter for us. Very happy with the service and cost. Thank you

Didn't get money's worth. 5 minute eyeballing of flame and out he went. UPDATE Provider's response is not credible. Received no phone or email messages. Don't recall ever speaking to a customer service manager, but very certain I was not happy. At the time, I figured I got the short end of the Deal and decided I would just try to forget about it, but then it was time to start thinking about getting my furnace ready for the cold season, plus Angie's list asked I leave feedback. Yes, it took awhile to respond, but I never forgot how disappointed I was with the service AAA Brothers provided the previous year. Sorry for the confusion about the "would hire again" answer. I corrected it to "No". If I had been happy with the service, I would have asked provider to service my boiler again, but I have not. Also changed the Professionalism score to "F" because of provider's suggestion my review critical of the services received could "not possibly be [left for] a right reason." I bet AAA Brothers wouldn't be so confounded and certainly not disparaging if it took a year to post a complimentary review instead.

The technician was very professional and even though young seemed to be quite knowledgeable. He took his time and did a thorough job with the servicing. He was very willing to answer my questions and explain to me what he found with the equipment. This is the second time I've had this company do a service call and I will definitely have them back again.

These guys were great, the whole team really. We found a leak where our furnace and water heater is located. We initially thought it was the water heater and purchased the deal to have it replaced. Later we discovered it was actually coming from the furnace unit (trouble with the condensation being carried away to the outside. Because our water heater was so old (19 years, we think) we decided to go ahead with the deal anyway. We purchased and called on a Sat afternoon... I assumed I would be leaving a voicemail but someone actually answered. I briefly explained the situation and the gentlemen said no problem and made a recommendation that I call at a specific time Monday AM. I called at the agreed upon time and they were at my house less than 1 hour later (this is without any emergency service or rush charges). They performed all of the work related to the deal and took care of my furance/AC/PVC issue in about 2 hours and I was able to get back to the office knowing that everything would be fine when I got home that evening. Great folks to work with and I will definitely be keeping their contact info around. Thank you, AAA Brothers.

We have a maintenance plan with a different HVAC company. Due to warranty obligations w/ our furnace, I also have them check our AC during the summer season. At the last checkup they told me there was a leak and we lost about a pound of refrigerant. The technician told me the schrader valve (where they hook up their equipment to) was loose so the guy tighten it. I decided to call a different company because the price was way too high and something about his explanation sounded fishy to me. AAA came out and added about 1.5lb of refrigerant. He also replaced the valve at no cost (not sure how much that would cost) and we now have a house that's cool and comfortable! Before this our AC unit would run almost all day at 75 degrees when the temperature outside goes above 90. I know it's only been one day but I notice my AC turns on and off and the house is actually cold!

The service was performed professionally and promptly as scheduled, and based on my comparison shopping, this deal was a good savings. The technicians were prompt and courteous when they arrived at my house. The only complaint I have is with the actual scheduling process. I received an email through Angie's List giving me their direct email and asking me to send photos and availability, which I did, and I asked them to call me directly. Two days later, I got another email on Angie's List saying they hadn't received the photos they needed to determine if I was eligible for the deal. I sent the photos through the Angie's List, and they confirmed my eligibility, but then we went back and forth with 3-4 more emails on scheduling, and again I asked them to call me, which they didn't. Finally, I called them and was able to immediately schedule the appointment over the phone. Because of this inefficient scheduling process, I spent 3-4 more days than I needed to without hot water. All they had to do was pick up the phone and call to schedule an appointment. It would have saved both parties a lot of time.

AAA Brothers came in and gave me an estimate. Upon agreeing to hire them they were very responsive through email. They even helped me get permits from my township to do the work for a fee and worked with me to schedule a day for the install. AAA Brothers arrived right on time and started to work on getting my AC replaced. They were very courteous and worked all day into the night to get everything set. He explained how to use the thermostat and showed me the unit outside. They brought tarp to cover up my carpet and walk way so it would not get dirty and also gently warned me not to walk without shoes as there would be debris from the work on the tarps. I even asked if they would insulate the piping on the outside (which was not in the plan) and even though it was late they agreed to do it. The job was done well and everything was stapled, nailed and cables were nicely managed. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Technician was very professional and did a great job. This is my second time using AAA and they are always on point.

He tested the unit that is outside and the unit that is in the attic. Then he tested the entire system and its responsiveness.

It worked out good. I liked everything. I liked the service, their patience and customer service. I was able to use the big deal right away. There were no extra charges beyond the big deal price.

The service man was very professional and took his time to explain what he saw to me. He was very experienced and explained things in a way I could understand. He put me at ease and I would call the company again.

Igor is very knowledgeable, very professional, and properly completed the job. They had to respond back for an unrelated issue and that job was also done in a professional manner. The woman that works in the office is very customer service oriented and went out her way to make this repeat customer very happy.

Working with AAA Brothers was fantastic. They were on time, returned phone calls promptly, and thoroughly explained the problem that was occurring with my heater. Igor and his partner physically walked me through the steps on how they were going to fix my heater before they started working. They were also friendly and professional, leaving me at ease while they worked in my home. I would hands down call upon this company again for my any HVAC needs I have in the future.

The whole process went very well from my initial call to the day the work was completed. Everyone involved was very polite; a service call was made to fit my work schedule. The day of the initial visit the problem was explained thoroughly to me. Dave C., who provided the services, was very considerate of my work schedule and a return appointment. was made within a week once the ordered parts arrived. The day of installation Dave arrived on time, the installation was completed and the system tested. All work was completed quickly and efficiently. I would use AAA Brothers again should a problem arise. Their service was excellent.

James was very professional and pleasant. He turned on the pilot and bled the pipes. I will call them back for tune up and maintenance in April.

I called this company because I was at wits end. another provider said it would cost $680, when I knew it was a good system. AAA brothers went out and said it was a chimney switch, and the system itself was just fine. what a sigh of relief and what I feel, is an honest company. thank you

That went really well. It was excellent. The Freon was more expensive but it wasn't a big deal. It was more than $100 on top of the big deal I purchased. I thought they were very fair. They fixed it really quickly. I had no issues since the service. The price was very fair.

Shortly after purchasing the Deal the service provider messaged me to advise that the $65 price did not apply to my location and that service would cost $110. I explained that I input my zip code in the search criteria, but they said it is an ongoing problem with the system. I needed to get the work done so I bought another Deal, and therefore need to have the first Deal refunded. Thanks for your help.

This was a maintenance call. It went very well. Roman, the technician, arrived on time. He made a very nice appearance and was very pleasant. He checked the heat pump, furnace, thermostat and made sure this was clean. Since this was basic maintenance, there were no repairs needed. It was just to make sure everything was working okay. I was very pleased with his attitude, thoroughness, and he even showed me a picture of his cat (since I have a cat too.)!!

During routine maintenance of my heating system I was advised that I had a non-repairable leak in the system. Due to the age and the fact my unit used the old refrigerant I was advised to replace the heat pump and air handler. I sought out 3 competitive bids to get this work done. While all three contractors quoted on the same manufacturer of the equipment I ended up with an $8000.00 spread from the lowest to the highest bidder. AAA was just as concerned about the cost to replace my system as I was. I worked with them to make sure I was comparing apples to apples on the systems and included the service provided, as claimed by the other two competitors.At the very last minute one of the other competitors dropped his price by over 30% in order to try and get my business after telling me for two weeks his best offer was on the table. Once I committed to AAA to get the work done everything went quickly and smoothly. They scheduled the installation in less than a week. Their technicians showed up on time the day of the installation. They were very professional and went about their work while answering any questions that I had and educating me on my new system. It took them a full day to install the system but they were very thorough, cleaned up and removed all debris from the old units . I intend to sign up with them for the routine maintenance of my unit once my old contract lapses. If there was a column for A+ I would have checked that column.

I made an appointment with AAA to come out and look at my HVAC system that needs replacement. I was given mid week appointment with a time frame from 10 to 1pm. This was not an issue as my office is 10 mins from the home. When speaking with the scheduler I asked her to notate on the appointment that I would like a 10 minute heads-up call so I can go right over. I received a call at 11:10 saying the technician would be there is 30 minutes so I left work a bit early not wanting to make them wait and went to meet AAA at the relayed time of 11:40. 25 minutes later I called dispatch and asked where the tech was. I was told they will be there any minute. 15 minutes later I called back to inquire again and again was told the tech was on their way. I realize jobs can run long, people hit traffic, etc. It is for such reasons I asked to be notified 10 minutes before I was needed to allow the tech in. At this point I had little confidence dispatch knew where the tech was and cancelled the appointment to return to work. I wrote AAA privately with no response so decided to recount my experience on this site.

Great service. Prompt, thorough and they KNOW what they are doing. I would definitely recommend them
