Couch Potato Carpet

(BEWARE) We were informed by our property manager that the same color carpet and vinyl would be installed. First, Couch Potato installed the wrong color carpet on the 2 sets of stairs and replaced the second floor vinyl with a different color. In the process of installing the vinyl, they covered our unit in layers of dust, left tools outside our roof, put holes in walls, damaged the cabinet bottoms, and broke a patio blind! Second, Couch Potato had to install the remaining carpet and vinyl throughout to match the unit. In the process of installing the vinyl, Couch Potato took it upon themselves to ONLY install floor trim on the first and third floor which wasn't ordered! Third, Couch Potato was to hire a cleaning crew for extensive cleaning of the unit. The two women didn't remove all the dust from cabinets, walls, closet, and stove bottom! They never touched the CD cases and dusty dishes! Couch Potato has been informed several times to make our unit whole again by performing: Extensive cleaning to remove all dust of damaged items, clean/sanitize the HVAC system and filter, dry cleaning of damaged items from closet, reimbursement of laundry products to rewash damaged items, reimbursement of open food items containing dust, reimbursement for foam plates/cups/bowls/utensils, and reimbursement of cleaning supplies to complete the cleaning process if he doesn't have it completely removed. Due to Couch Potato's negligence to date, I've had 4 severe asthma attacks and placed on additional medications. We want our unit back whole immediately or we will seek legal counsel!

His prices are good and his services are excellent. He is honest and he stands behind his work. I would highly recommend him.

I was very disappointed in the business practices, service and ethics of Couch Potato. I participated in The United Way Day of Caring on Friday, September 9, 2016 at a local non-profit. The non-profit purchased carpeting and tiles to be installed by volunteers, which I was one of. The carpet was to be cut to fit two rooms and all items were to be delivered on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 8:30AM. Volunteers were scheduled to start at 9AM. Couch Potato notified the non-profit a couple days before event that they were not going to cut the carpeting, but Mike would be there to show us how to do it. On the Day of Caring as we prepared to work. The CEO of the non-profit called Couch Potato to ask why the carpeting was not delivered. Couch Potato informed her that they would not deliver the items, because the boss was in a meeting and Mike was the only one there. We obtained someone with a truck and went to their store. Mike was in the office with three other people (funny how he could not leave since he was the only one there). All the items were loading into the deliver van. We had to unload the items from the van into the truck and deliver to the non-profit. Couch Potato did not perform what was agreed (cutting carpeting and delivery) and were very rude. I do not see Couch Potato as a ethical and honest business. I will not use them and I will let people know how they treated the non-profit.

walked into showroom, took samples home. returned to showroom & told them what I wanted. they came out a few days later to measure, gave a quote & installed 3 days later. 2 guys installed living room carpet & pad, stair way carpet & pad & hallway carpet & pad. I'm very pleased with the new carpet & the installation. I gave a B rating on responsiveness & punctuality because: 1. I was pushing to get installed very quick which I knew prob wouldn't happen due to short notice before the july 4th holiday. I was told that salesman would call in the evening to come measure, but he did not. I did follow up with him a couple days later & he came right over. 2. I got a call at 7:30 am when they told me the installers were on the way. they didn't show up til 9am. Prob because they wanted to be sure someone was home before the loaded truck & dispatched the crew. My neighbors used them to re-carpet their home & they are very pleased as well.
