Description of Work: Microwave stopped working.

Description of Work: I have used this company several times in the past. This time our refrigerator stopped working. The manufacturer said it sounded like it would need to be replaced. CAT listened to my description of the problem and within a few hours they had repaired it at a fraction of the cost of a new refrigerator.

Description of Work: We had CAT Services come to our home for two repairs: a tricky ventless propane range installation, and an LG Dryer repair. Both jobs were WAY more involved than we had expected when we called CAT, however both servicemen completed the job regardless of the time and intensity required, stayed well into the evening to complete it, and didn't charge more than originally quoted. (The dryer even required EXTENSIVE ductwork to be completely opened up and cleaned- not what I had originally represented, and not really what they were supposed to do!). This company instills an excellent work ethic and customer care expectation from the top down. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Repaired dysfunctional refrigerator. Knew his stuff,explained options and issues in detail. We chose a well informed option since it was older model. Has been running smoothly since.

Description of Work: 8/25/11 Cat Services fixed two of the burners of our Thermador stove. We used them because they were the only Thermador repair people listed in our phonebook. They had to come back three times because the technician made an error in a part needed. It cost $555.97. The work was completed but the cost was high. 11/8/12 Cat Services replaced a button used to activate the vent. It took less than 15 minutes and the charge was $289.38. I was so upset that I called. The person I spoke with who was referred to as the manager, said he would refund $100 but said that he didn't want our business anymore. Believe me, we would not have used their services again. Their prices are so high that, in many cases it would be cheaper to replace. Their work is acceptable, the repairman that came, seemed almost embarrased at the price he was going to charge us. According to the manager, they have a list of prices and they go by that. If your repair is not as comprehensive, you still pay what the list heading says.

Description of Work: Not sure that a built in microwave is a major appliance but, CAT was responsive, professional and reasonable. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. This is my first experience with them, but would recommend and use again.
