I did read the review from 7 rears ago which was not favorable. I had a much better experience. I visited the store with a problem with my 38 year old maytag stacked washer dryer. They have a hugh selection of older model parts for maytag. They couldn't have been more helpful. The repair guy Steve was knowledge and tried everything in his power to fix it. But unfortunately we had to pronounce it dead. We went back to the showroom and everyone including the new owner spoke to us and expressed their sadness that we they could not get it to come back to life. So the adventure began to shop for a new washer/dryer. It had to fit small space and vent inside. Everyone got in on helping with this. They located an inside venting system on Amazon and gave me the info. So I could purchase it. They located the perfect fit washer dryer. The 2 gals on the showroom floor are really terrific. The new owner come out of his office and spoke to us about the install and what needed to be done to achieve the install. I found his prices competitive. We decided to replace our 38 year old refrig also at this time. We got a great deal on a new refrig. So in conclusion I did read the review posted on this site and was expecting something short of good things. What we got was a excellent experience. Met great knowledge friendly people. So in 2020 not seven years ago thing appear to have greatly changed.

Purchased new high efficiency washer and dryer. Many of our clothes were shrinking, so I started washing all clothes in cold water. Still didn't fix the problem, so I assumed the dryer was heating too hot. I hardly used the dryer and had clothes hanging all over the basement to dry. The one day I had already started the washer and realized that I had dropped a piece of laundry on the floor, and when I opened the washer, I felt that the water was hot. That was when I decided that the hot and cold water must be switched, and since I had the washer set to cold water all the time, everything was really being washed in hot water. I went to this appliance store to explain the problem. They sent a service person out right away and fixed the problem. However, even though the owner was sitting there and heard me explain the problem, I was not once told that they were sorry. The clothes that I had to replace cost me more than the washer and dryer, but apparently they didn't care about that. I realize that we are all human and errors can be made, but an "I'm sorry" would have made me feel differently about the situation and I would have continued to patronize this store. Now however I won't, nor would I ever recommend this store because of the attitude I encountered there.
