In 2005 Bill installed the new Ducane heating system improperly against manufacturing standards. He also stole our electronic air cleaning unit and placed a cardboard piece over it to hide the theft endearingly titled "replacement filter needed". The unit was a health hazard that began leaking carbon monoxide back into the duct system endangering myself, elderly mother, and 4 grandchildren that frequented the house. A gas inspector had come to the house and identified the leak was caused by improper installation and even went as far as to call Bill personally and informed him he needed to correct the problem or our gas would be turned off, which Bill refused to do. After we had called another contractor to correct the problem we came to find out that the unit had nearly 5 yrs worth of damage due to fumes and liquid backing up in the system in less than 6 months. We then took Bill to civil court and won the full case against him. The lawyers he used were even more deceptive and cunning than him and used many illegal tactics to try and appeal the case to no avail. However, we won the case nearly 2 years ago and to this date we have never received a penny from Bill. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR, he will steal from your home, endanger your life, and damage any new or existing system you have.
