Albert's Painting

He was very good. I cannot say enough positive things about him. He gave an estimate that he stood by. His work was excellent and he was on time. If there were any small problems he took care of it even when he was already paid. He was also very honest, reliable, and had fair pricing. Anyone would be fortunate to have him do work at their home. I have already used him again and I would recommend him to my best friend or family. Al is the owner and he was regularly on site. He was very professional and you could not ask for a better person to work with.

We had a washing machine breakdown which caused an unexpected and disappointing flooding of our large, finished basement. After the clean up, and before installing a new basement floor, my wife and I decided to have the basement professionally painted as we were on a tight timeline. I researched painters on Angie's List, selected Albert's Painting, and placed a call on a Sunday morning expecting to leave a message. To my surprise, Al answered, and scheduled an appointment to provide an estimate two days later. Al followed up the estimate appointment with an email message that detailed the work, the number of his painting crew that would be required, and the estimate for the work to be completed. We agreed to the estimate, we promptly scheduled the work, and the painting was done meticulously, on schedule, and the crew left our basement immaculate. I was home for the first day of the painting and found Al's crew to be so professional, careful with out home, and respectful of our home, that I literally trusted the crew leader to give him our garage access code so they could come and go as they needed for the rest of the job. I must absolutely share two accolades of special note. First, on the second to the last day of the work, Al sent me an email message requesting my wife and I inspect the work to be completed the next day and give the crew any additional requests to ensure we were satisfied with the work. Second, Al offered to return after the new floor was installed to touch up anything that might be needed following the work of the flooring contractor, and he returned to do so the day after the new floor was installed. My wife and I could not be more pleased with finding Albert's Painting and we will certainly be calling Al as we are ready to paint the other rooms in our home.

We just recently bought a new condo and wanted to get it painted before we moved in. Al came out to our place to see what we wanted to have done. He's very nice and professional and sent us the estimate that same evening. He knew we wanted to have our place painted right away and was able to accommodate us. He's very responsive with phone calls and e-mails and stayed in communication with us throughout the job. His painters (Devon and Dillon) are also very nice and did a great job. They were polite, prompt and cleaned up after their job was finished. We are very happy with the finished job! Everything looks great! We highly recommend Al's Painting and wouldn't hesitate to contact them again!

They were very PROFESSIONAL & NEAT. ON TIME they painted two rooms and ceilings in my dinning room and living room also painted my ceiling in my sunroom. They were very polite and just a great group of men I would recommend to any one in fact I am having them back to paint the outside of my sunroom.

I have never, in all of the years I have worked with contractors, had such a great experience. Al and his team (the guys who painted my house were Colin and Paul) are intelligent, professional, courteous, patient...just plain nice, honorable people. The work that they did in my house literally transformed it. They painted a very difficult-to-paint kitchen, laundry room, sunroom, stairwell, and 2 hallways in just a little over a week. The work was excellent and I am a really fussy customer. The guys arrived on time every day and were neat and careful. If you need a painter, you must try to hire Albert's Painting. This team is worth its weight in gold.

From the first point of contact you can see the difference in Al's operation. He was very prompt and professional in returning my inquiry call. A time to setup an estimate was set and we received a quote shortly after. Al worked with us on dates to complete the work and arrived on time every morning and this team worked a full day. Since the team works full days, the work was completed in no time, as outlined. The team on site was respectful and courteous and they left everything neat and clean at the end of the day. Work was reviewed by my husband each night and any feedback or instruction was well received and addressed the next day. It was clear that Al wanted to ensure that we were 100% happy with the work. Our job entailed a lot of woodwork and detailing and in the end, everything looked beautiful. We will definitely use Al again on future projects.

We really liked and trusted Albert to perform the job, unfortunately we needed to have the house painted (started) the next day so that we could move in the following weekend. Although we really wanted to go with his team, they were booked until the following week which would have been difficult for us. I would highly recommend Albert and his team, and we will continue to reach out to them for future projects.

The entire project went seamlessly. Al is very professional and friendly. Was on time for estimate appointment, thorough in his assessment, and I appreciated his estimate the most of the 3 companies that I had look at the project. He broke the quote down into smaller projects (i.e. repairing and painting the ceilings separately from the walls of the living room, dining room, and kitchen) and provided estimates for time to complete each sub-project. His crew was right on time to start the project and worked very efficiently. All of the employees were courteous, professional and communicated where they were in the various projects. And they completed projects so as to minimize the disruption to our lives (e.g. finished the kitchen and dining spaces entirely before starting other spaces). We did not know exactly what paint had been used for the upstairs ceilings but did not want to paint the entire ceiling upstairs due to costs and the fact they had fewer spackling repairs than downstairs. When the result wasn't coming out that well with the paint brand that we thought it was Al went the extra effort to get a different brand to try that out and the end result is quite good with barely noticeable differences in color tone. The crew was very clean. We had essentially no clean up to do on a daily basis or at the end of the project. They were able to finish the entire project in 4 days and Al thought it might actually take 5. Lastly, Al and his team were very thankful for us hiring them. From his reviews and after talking with Al and his workers, it's clear they are pretty busy so it was refreshing to work with someone who was genuinely grateful for the work and happy that the project turned out well and we were satisfied.

Albert's Painting was very good to work with--thorough, reliable, trustworthy, flexible and good quality. We never had a worry with Al, Colin and team. We had two tough and time consuming elements: the staircase and rooms filled with trim/crown molding. Everything turned out perfectly. We could not be happier with the process and the quality work.

Al and his assistant arrived promptly on Friday and prepped the bathroom that he was going to paint. We knew immediately after seeing how the room was spackled that he would do a great job. It was a thorough job on Friday and everything was cleaned up before he and his helper left. Monday they painted the vaulted ceiling and the walls. The details were perfect and the overall job was a great result for us. Al's professionalism and efficiency were obvious. He communicated with us about every detail and was reliable. Because it was such a positive experience, we will definitely be hiring him again.

No work was performed by this provider because he did not show up for the appointment to give me a estimate. Not only did he not show, he didn't have the courtesy to call to cancel. I am really sick of these contractors that don't have the common courtesy to call when they are expected to be late or not show up. I don't think his schedule or time is any more valuable than mine. Would not hire this person EVER!!!!

My wife and I were fighting for the privilege of reviewing the service of Albert's Painting. Al Incudine is a master painter and a good man. When you read marketing materials for companies, you expect to read alot of schmaltz and expressiveness of the companies "virtues." Everything that Al has written in his marketing materials is true. So if you are looking for a painter who is going to do expert work, go above and beyond to complete the job, has good insured family men working for him, and has the skill and ability to save a house that was a foreclosure, then your search is over. I first received an estimate from Al in March of 2013. He was impressive and knowledgeable and I thought fair in his pricing and he gave me the feeling that he would be the right man for the job. In a fit of insanity I went with another contractor because my wife knew him growing up and he was a $200 cheaper. Not only were we dissatisfied with the work, he then proceeded to include things in his estimate that we understood to be covered in the original estimate. It would up costing us more than Al's original estimate for lesser quality work. January 2014 we purchased a new house that was a foreclosure. The house was mangled. Corner bead destroyed, dry wall paper rips, huge murals on the walls, poster tack up in the kids rooms, a zillion holes in the spackle. Immediately, I knew the right man for the job. Al gave us a quote, allowed us to negotiate with him and was very gracious in doing so. He knocked off $200 from his original estimate. While we couldn't afford to have his crew do the whole house,(I wish we could have because I wound up doing the rest) at the last second, prior to us moving in, I asked him to do our Master Bedroom. We had recently had contractors in there to revamp the Master Bathroom and I was running short on time. Al and his crew took a dingy, beatup old room and made it bright, beautiful and liveable again. It erased the stain of the previous owner and will allow us to build new memories in a fresh new house. That is not the end. In addition, for free, Al primed my powder room and the baseboards in my Master Bedroom. He was also flexible to work his schedule around my general contractors so as to not get in their way. It was among the best spent money of my life. If only I could say that about all the contractors that I have encountered. What you want is for people that are reliable, trustworthy, and deliver. I'm very lucky, I am 36 years old, own two houses and for now and forever if there is ever a painting job that I cannot handle it will go to Al Incudine and the fabulous team(Manny, Jay, & Devon) at Albert's Painting.

Al and the crew did an incredible job! I've used them several times in the past, in fact they are the only painters we have used. Always quality crew and tremendous service. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Wow...well let's see. First off I received a response the same day I sent the initial inquiry. Within two days Al was at my house and ball parked a number that sounded great. Well when the actual number came back, it actually was a little lower. Ok, so the number sounded good and Al made a great impression, but let's be fair I had yet to see a drop of paint applied. So, our schedule was tight and was further complicated by some work/time issues. But, again Al worked with us and fit us into a workable time frame. So here we are Feb 5, the great ice storm of 2014, fifteen minutes before an 8AM start, BANG, there goes the power. Not just a quick blackout, no we are talking full blown power outage. Al and Colin show up. One, two, three, they come up with a plan of unpowered attack and off to work it was. Al left to oversee other projects and assured me I was in capable hands. Was he ever right. Simply put Colin is the man. By daylight or by flashlight, he went at it like a consummate professional. First off, there are no lights in the bathroom to be painted, so with a flashlight and a sense of determination he powered through the priming of the walls and ceiling, no small feat considering the mess yours truly left the last time I tried to paint (never again). Once that was done, it was on to the two awful seams in my living room ceiling. They were bad, professional repairs having been attempted before and failed miserably. Colin tore into it, literally ripping tape and spackle. His seam work was awesome to say the least, one can honestly see no sign of any imperfection. Mind you this is without power or light. Day two fortunately saw light, power, and the final completion of my new bathroom and what I would call my new ceiling. Colin's work in the light and dark were, well great. The lines are straight, no brush or roller marks, not a single drop of errant paint. Even the ceiling repair which most definitely should have resulted in at least a little dust, was clean beyond belief. Clean, professional, efficient, The truth is I could keep going on with the compliments. These guys are great and I will be enlisting their services again.

Al and Colin (who did the actual job) were GREAT. Very professional but, at the same time, very friendly and approachable. The only reason I'm not giving him all A's is because, the first time I called Al, he was driving and said he'd call me back in a few hours, which is reasonable. However, it took him two days to call me back. That said, as soon as I answered, he immediately apologized and took responsibility, which goes a long way in my book. After that there were no issues. And when he said he'd be at my place at a certain time, he was there right at that time. My bathrooms look GREAT. I'm very pleased with every single aspect of the job. Again - professional yet personable. Showed up exactly when he said he would. Thorough and professional job. I can't say enough good things. I have a few less urgent painting jobs I want to get done, and I'll definitely be contacting Al!

Al and his team are amazing. They painted a few rooms inside my home and each room was done at an almost artistic level. I have never seen straighter paint lines, ever. The team of guys are very polite hard workers. Al is a business owner that actually cares about the people he sends into your home. Overall I was super happy with all the work performed. However, the real shining star of this company is the honesty of the owner. He talked us out of an $8000.00 job of painting our stucco home because he knew the end result would not achieve our goal. How many companies do you know that will talk you out of spending your money? Use Al and his crew. You will not be dissapointed.

If there was a rating higher than A we would give it to Albert's Painting. Al is a professional not only in what he knows about painting but as a businessman. He is punctual, courteous and pleasant to deal with and is extremely customer oriented. We have had contractors coming to our homes over 30 years, and Albert's Painting is on the top of the list. His crew is also wonderful. They are skilled, polite, friendly and neat. They come on time and get the job done. They interact very well with each other and are a pleasure to deal with and have in the house. Everything is about the customer being comfortable and happy. Technically they all are pros as well. They all understand the"science" behind the painting and prep, and take extreme pride in their work. We would certainly recommend Albert's Painting to anyone.

When we first contacted Al, we liked him right away. Not only was he the first point of contact for his own business (a rarity these days) but he impressed us with his willingness to fit us into his schedule despite our short notice. He came for an estimate and was much more thorough than the other two painters who had already come by. He explained all of our options in terms of prep work, ceilings, trim, etc, and gave us time to decide our course of action. We liked how he pointed out ways to save us money: "this bathroom ceiling looks really good, and we can save some money by leaving it as-is". We appreciated that kind of up-front honesty. Once we had decided, he and his men came by right away to begin. Not only were they always professional, but they also had that magical ability to keep us informed without talking our ears off. They were very pleasant to have around, and we felt 100% comfortable having them in our home. They even took special care to mind the dog when opening and closing the door. They worked diligently, and we were always impressed with how much was accomplished by the end of each work day. Al and his crew always gave us options of when they could begin the workday, and they were punctual each time. Having just moved into the place, our boxes were everywhere. The men were very respectful and careful with our belongings, and worked around our mess as much as they could. The painting itself was great. The townhouse had been submitted to 26 years of terrible paint jobs before Al arrived. The walls were caked with layers of cheap paint, and the doors had been haphazardly roller painted by--arguably-- a three-year-old. Al's crew came in and did the prep work necessary to make the walls and doors look great again! The colours look fantastic, and I commend Al's choice of working with Sherwin Williams. The edging was top-notch, the trim is bright and clean looking, and the overall change to the townhouse is astounding. The powder room that we originally considered renovating now looks rejuvenated. They did such a great job! I recommend Albert's Painting to anyone who wants great work by great people.

I called Al for a quote and he called me right back to set up a time to meet. He was there right on time to price out two bedrooms for me. I got the estimate within two days just like he promised i would. I did have other estimates for the work but Al was the nicest and i felt very trustworthy. The walls were in my kids rooms and they were really in bad shape. There was writing carved into the walls and lt was just painted over so you could see everything coming right through the paint. There were a ton of drips from the paint and vents painted onto the wall. The first day they spackled all the nasty stuff off the wall. The second day they sanded and starting painting. I think the total job lasted three days. His worker Colin worked very h****** getting both rooms looking very nice and made sure that i was happy with them. I even changed the paint color on him after he painted 3 walls and he had no problem changing it for me. He worked full days and was very detailed on his work. He was very neat and cleaned up every night when he was done. I did have to call Al back only because i notice everything and there were just a few minor imperfections that were only to my eye, but Al came back to fix them for me with no problem and they are perfect. He also fixed a few holes in another room for me and he had no problem doing that either for me. Al and Colin are both super nice and very easy going. I find it very hard to believe that anyone could ever give him any kind of review other then great or that he didn't follow through with estimates. Al not only does great work but he cares about the relationship he builds with his customers and will go above and beyond to keep that. Which i think is very important . I would absolutely use him again and definitely recommend him.

Albert was prompt in returning phone calls. After initial discussion, he showed up promptly to look at the job to quote us. The quote took about 3 to 4 days over the weekend, which is reasonable. We thought the price was great for the work outlined and he broke the quote down to each area so we could assess it properly and pick and choose what we would like done. After receiving the quote, we called to arrange for the work to be done. He estimated about 2 weeks time, but we needed 3 because we were on vacation. He called the Sunday before the work was to begin and needed to start Tuesday instead of Monday, no big deal. The day the work began, Albert showed up promptly at 7:30am along with his crew of 2 painters. He ran them through the job, pointed out where the work was to be done and how to attack the stair runners. He would return a couple of times during the day to check in and make sure things were OK - which we appreciated. Day 2, they again were very punctual, showed up and did their thing. Albert was there that day too. As a matter of fact, he took the time to fix a ceiling for free which we weren't paying him to do to fix some marks yours truly left behind when I painted an adjoining room! The job finished in the 2 days he quoted us, right on time. Albert and both of his workers were very friendly, courtesy, neat and great people with which to work. The work itself came out great and we were very pleased with the quality. We will definitely be using him again for other jobs.

Al was available right away for an estimate, very friendly and helpful. I wasn't sure what color I wanted on the shutters and columns and he said that he would be glad to provide samples until I was content with the colors. I had gotten two other quotes besides Al's; $4485 & $4950, Al came in at $2960. I have worked with a lot of contractors in the past and know enough to not just go with the cheapest quote but Al was very professional, lived close by, had good references and could start the work immediately. They began the prep work at 8am Wed morning. Al's employees were two of the most polite and respectful people I have ever had working on any of my jobs, they took great care to clean up and store the materials in neat manner. Al was very attentive to my job and showed up often to make sure the painting was being done correctly and to make sure that I was satisfied.The house was close to being finished by Friday afternoon except for 1 door on the pool house and Al sent a employee out on Saturday to complete the job. I am very pleased with the quality and how attentive Al was to a small job. No hassles with payment; Al wanted to be paid only when the job was completed to my satisfaction. I can't wait to use his company for the interior.

I requested a painting estimate from Albert's Painting on 09/13/13 and Al showed up on Wednesday 09/18/13 as scheduled. He reviewed the job and said he would get back to me with an estimate in a day or a day and a half. On Saturday 09/21/13 when I still hadn't heard from him I sent an email providing my email address as I thought perhaps I had given him an incorrect address. On Monday morning when I still hadn't heard from him I called. He explained he had received my email and apologized that he hadn't gotten back to me but would do so by 5 PM that day. He explained that the family had taken a vacation over the week-end which he should have told me. Today is Wednesday 09/25/13 and I still haven't received an estimate. I am totally dismayed by this lack of indifference to a potential client by an individual who originally appeared to be quite knowledgeable and professional. Al yet again saved the day! We had a horrible experience with removing wallpaper in our kitchen and our contractor did a poor job finishing the walls of our upstairs bathroom renovation. I emailed Al and gave him a call and he immediately worked us in Colin's schedule within two days. Colin was able to remove the remaining wallpaper, smooth out the walls, and make our kitchen and bathroom look brand new. We can't wait to have Al's crew back again, hopefully next summer, to paint our deck. Albert's Painting has been a lifesaver to our new home renovation and we truly appreciate their responsiveness, expertise, and overall enjoyable personalities to work with!

I emailed this provider and he answered in a few days, explaining that he was at the shore and his wife wouldn't let him work. OK, I get that. He asked for a photograph of the work we wanted done. I sent it. He gave me a general estimate and said he would call the next week. He never called. So I emailed him again and he never responded. I found someone else.
