Al and his team did an excellent job. His team was very professional, polite and diligent. Al was very prompt with providing us with a quote and fitting us into his schedule. They took care to clean up after they were done each day. Overall we were very happy and would definitely call upon Al for our future painting needs.

Al was fantastic. I had a house that I was about to sell, and he knew exactly how to make it look ready to show. I unfortunately had tenants who smoked in the house, and I was dismayed when I saw the interior and experienced the overwhelming odor of smoke inside. Al and his crew did a wonderful job from ceiling to baseboards. It was like a new house inside; and the smell was gone. It probably looked just like it did when my parents first stepped foot into it 45 years ago!. The house showed great and it sold. They were the best price for the work they included, they cleaned up immaculately, and Al's a really nice person to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again.

This is the third job I?ve used Albert?s Painting, and two of them have been for major whole house interior painting (I didn?t intend to move after the first one!). Have really enjoyed working with Al and his team. They are all great guys. The quality of their work is terrific, and I've constantly received compliments on how good the painting is. They do a very thorough job patching and smoothing out imperfections in walls which adds to how good things look when done. Also come back for a day after the movers etc to do any necessary touch ups. Not the least expensive option, but if you want a job done very well at a fair price I would recommend to anyone.

I hired Albert?s Painting for a sizable job that was done in March (large living room, one bedroom, a ceiling, and most of the trim on both floors of the house). I also had him re-do some shoddy work done by a painter from h*** I had last year (before I joined Angie?s List). It?s a shame I had to pay twice to get certain areas done right, but that?s life. The difference between Al and his crew vs. the prior painter was like night and day. Though Al didn?t personally work on my house, he stopped by often to check out the job and address any questions/qualms I had. Plus, he?s good about communicating via email. There weren?t many qualms, thanks to a crew that was diligent, skilled and seemed to care about the quality of their work. I wish I hired Albert?s Painting the first time because it would've saved me a lot of aggravation and money. I wouldn?t hesitate to use them again for future work.

He completed almost 2000 square feet of painting and this included all the trim and base boards

We needed quick help with two closets in our 1880 home as they were going to be reorganized by California Closets. Al scheduled us right away and his painter worked diligently to get the closets done on time. They were PERFECT inside. I was amazed at how the painter had so much attention to detail. He was on time, extremely friendly, very neat and worked hard. Then we got our plaster walls and wood window frame fixed. Al's guys are experts at this. If you need plaster fixed, call Al. It is beautiful! I saw one other review where there was a complaint about dust. There is no way that any firm could keep all of the dust within a certain area. But I can tell you that Al's team taped up the entire area when they were fixing the plaster and then got the vacuum and got so much of the dust up. It was amazing how well they did. We have 7 properties and have used many contractors. Al's team does the best job we have seen with clean up, keeping dust to a minimum and great prep work. Al is very responsive and always communicates efficiently.

Awesome and outstanding job! Al returned my call a few hours after I left him a message. He came out the next day for an accurate estimate which was the actual cost when the job was completed. Al brought his team in on the day we agreed to and, even with two days of severe weather conditions, he completed the job on our timeline. The team carefully covered all floors and furniture, they worked with care in my mother's condo, and the outcome of the job was amazing. My wife and I, as well as my mother and her neighbors, were completely impressed at the high quality of the work. I am glad I contracted with Al for a second major job and I look forward to contracting with him again when my home next needs painting. Further, I highly recommend his superior quality of work to anyone in search of painting.

So, basically a TON of money for a one room job that I now have damages to unique antique pieces. The plan was that after Jan 1, he was going to come back and finish up all the other rooms. Also to fix and correct the current issues. Well, no contact. I contacted him asking if he was going to come back to finish up or should I hire someone else and he did not reply back to me! Talk about adding insult to injury. He canceled on me a few times using various excuses in the beginning, so I should have seen that as a red flag however I never thought things would turn out this way. I let that slide being nice and having prior experience with him. He was not on the job this time nor did he actually do it, but had someone else to oversee, however this person was not overseeing much since the wrong color went on in the living room and the guy working in there alone, never removed the switch plates so they are painted on. Not what you would expect for 8,500.00 for 2 rooms. In all fairness they did have to do a lot of sanding in the bedroom, which did take time. However, the dust was everywhere!! It was tracked thru out the living space of the house and it took two professional cleaning jobs just to remove all the dust. They are young guys and not really into keeping things clean or watching what they were doing. I now must find another painter to finish the job. I am very saddened by how things turned out. I think Al is a nice guy, but maybe he is overwhelmed and trying to be in too many places at the same time. Cutting corners, speeding things up for the sake of another good review on this site. Who knows. Whatever it is, my experience with him the first time was totally different which is why I called him again. This site is good in some ways letting people know the truth out there, but just maybe its working the other way for many of these small businessmen. Feast or famine. In the process the customer still gets screwed. Unfortunately, I would NOT hire Albert's Painting again because this time around there was a definate lack of professionalism all around in doing the work and being juggled and never called back.

Al was awesome. He personally came out to determine exactly what work would be needed and how much labor and supplies would be required. He was extremely friendly and professional. He treated our project like it was the most important thing in the world to him. There was a slight issue where when painters tape was removed off of our shelving, some paint came off as well. Al came over immediately after being notified and fixed the issue, and it now looks better than beforehand. He is extremely professional, and prides himself and his business on things being done the right way. We absolutely recommend him to anyone.

called for estimate on 1/20, was told by albert that he would be at my house 1/23... did not show up. I finally reached him and he told me he got tied up .. when I asked why he did not at least call that he would be hours late or not going to show, he had no answer as to why he didn't call OR TEXT and told me to cancel. to me that is not professional. I was not rude to him , just annoyed. I would not recommend him.

.We love how our townhouse looks inside and out. We really appreciate how Al helped us save money in several different areas. Since he was able to perfectly match the paint color on the exterior, we were able to avoid painting a small side wall. That saved us money since it was a high wall that would have involved needing to go onto a neighbor's roof. He also advised us on what areas could just be touched up without a total paint job. Al is an experienced painter who gave us good advice on colors to update our home. We met most of Al's team and they are all very nice guys. We needed a few things touched up after the job, and Al got right back to us and took care of the problem right away. We look forward to using Albert's Painting for our future painting needs.

Al was a pleasure to work with. This was the second job we hired him for. He is a consummate professional, extremely knowledgeable, responsible, and did a terrific job. He also gave us good suggestions, when asked, about color and style choices.

This is the company you want to do all of your dry wall repair and painting, hands down. I used Al's painting for insurance related repairs due to a roof leak sustained in our bedroom. They were contracted to pull down and replace the drywall on the ceiling and repaint the entire room. I have VERY high standards, and I was pleasantly suprised at the workmanship of Al's team. By far the best paint job I have ever paid for. In addition, Al's entire team was professional, curteous, and in general, a pleasure to deal with. I felt very at ease with his crew being in my home. They did a great job on the repairs and painting, and even painted a few extra things when I asked them to (closet door). Al is a very honest dealing and down to earth guy, and a family oriented person. It was a breath of fresh air to work with such a capable, responsive and pleasant contractor like Al. I will definitely hire them again for any painting needs I have. Thanks again, Al and Team! You guys rock!

We were very impressed by Al and his team. They are a professional unit who did a top quality paint job. They were always punctual, polite, kept us informed of their progress and if there was any doubt, gave us a call to clarify. We had four painters come in and quote for the job (three from Angie's list), and Al's quote came in close to the mid point between the highest and lowest quotes received. They are a great group of guys and we are very happy to recommend them to the Angie's list community.

Al and his team showed up right on time at 7:30 to get started on the work. There were multiple people working throughout the day, some inside, some outside and everyone was polite, professional and focused on getting things done as quickly as possible. They checked in with me throughout the day to make sure I was happy with the progress and to make sure they were meeting my expectations. The finished product looks great and I have already recommended Al and his team to family and friends. I had the job quoted by 3 different companies that I found on Angie's List and one other that was recommended by a friend. Al came in right in the middle with his bid. He also came with the name and addresses of 4 referrals so I could go take a look at his work on nearby houses. I didn't choose the lower bids because they didn't instill nearly as much confidence as Al did that they would be able to get the job done right. Al also made room for me in his very busy fall schedule where some of the other companies couldn't get to the project for months. It was an easy decision and the right one!

Albert came by initially to give an estimate for the work. He offered to use his own ceiling paint since he could get it cheaper. On the day of the project two of his painters came by and did the work. Albert came with them at the beginning to make sure everything was in order and that we had enough paint for the walls. He felt that we did not have enough paint, so we went and bought two more gallons. It took them from about 8 am to 3 pm to finish everything. They did an excellent job and did not get paint on the carpet or floors. Albert then came by at the end and saw that there were some specks of paint on the wooden banisters going up the stairs. He personally took the time to remove all of it himself for not charge. Furthermore, since we did not need to use the extra two gallons that we purchased, Albert deducted the cost of the extra paint from the final bill. He had felt bad for informing us that we needed more paint when we really didn't need it. He was very nice, accommodating, and professional.

These guys are very good and clean too. Overall, it was a great experience. It was slightly more than I was hoping to pay for, but they came highly recommended and the reviews on here pushed me to choose them. I wasn't disappointed.

Albert and his company are true professionals. I don't give recommendations lightly, however Al and his team's performance were nothing short of extraordinary. They were extremely punctual, stayed late, were flexible and very reasonable with pricing, and performed very high quality work. In a world of full of amateurs, Albert's Painting stands out and should be anyone's go to company for their painting needs. They were really good. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very courteous and they finished the job on time. So, it was a great experience. What stood out to me was when they promised to finish, they finished on time. I actually would have them come back to do some more work soon.

Everything went great. After getting estimates from other contractors that we weren't happy with, I found Albert's Painting on Angie's List, and gave Al a call. For starters, Al immediately answered my call, which was not the case with other contractors we attempted to contact. He promptly arranged an appointment at my house and within 1-2 days he provided a professional and detailed proposal. When I asked for a specific date range to have the work completed, Al was very accommodating to meet my scheduling needs. Al also freely provided guidance on my color selections, saving me from hiring a color consultant. His crew were highly skilled, professional, hard-working, and all around good people. Colin and Rich went above and beyond, often giving me tips on dealing with things in my house (priceless), showing great care in their work. They fixed all of our walls (one of which was damaged after receiving the estimate and fixed at no extra cost) and did a beautiful job in every room. We are very pleased with the results and are loving the new look of our home. I would highly recommend Albert's Painting and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

We needed an entire townhouse painted as well as walls to be patched and repaired and wallpaper removed in several rooms. Al is a very professional and wonderful contractor to work with. He came on time for scheduled appointments, always answered your phone calls himself (which is amazing these days) and also was very prompt to return calls if you left a VM. This home was a real challenge as we had a tenant who had lived there for several years and left the house a real mess with holes in the walls, water damaged walls, etc. His crew were able to start working immediately and did an awesome and wonderful job not only with the repairs but painting as well. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants a very professional and honest painting contractor who prides himself in his work and that of his crew.
