Description of Work: They cleaned and restained the entire outside of our log home, plus banisters and deck. In addition, they fixed some shingles on our roof as well as the rear gutter, both damaged from a tree fall last year. It went great. The house looks wonderful and is now much better protected for several years to come, and the remaining damage from the tree is now fixed. The work started a little later than originally planned, but it was done with high quality and efficiency, and they cleaned up after themselves beautifully. We sometimes had a little trouble connecting by phone, but that was probably as much our fault as theirs, since we're only at the house part-time, and it may have been hard to figure out where best to reach us. Highly recommend!

 + -1 moreIt went super! Michael and his men showed up on time, and had the old materials off quickly and installed the new materials quickly. They picked up everything as they went along and left the yard clean. There were no leaks during the very heavy rain we had the next week. Michael was very good about explaining what they would do, and was very accomodating when I asked for a change. The actual bill matched the estimate too. Both he and his workers were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a pleasure working with him.
Description of Work: Our back porch roof was leaking after being replaced by a prior contractor. Mr. Horst came to the house and gave us an estimate and explained what would need to be done. He and his crew returned on the promised date and removed the old roofing, put down new plywood underlayment to establish a good base, then installed a waterproof membrane and new shingles. The work was completed in a single day.
