Prompt service by company ownership, not outside contractors. Met deadlines and communicated effectively.

We contacted the owner and he came out and gave us an estimate on the windows first. Very easy to talk to and seemed very honest about the product we wanted. We also had another company come out for and estimate but you could tell he was a ?salesman? it took him forever and we couldn?t wait for him to leave. It took Rick around 45 minutes to measure and walk us through the process. We never felt pressured. Rick?s crew arrived on time and went right to work. They completed their work quickly and well. The only negative thing I can say about the crew was their radio was a little loud. I was trying to work from home during the installation. The owner stopped by during the installion to make sure everything was going well and for payment. About a month later I noticed a piece of caulking that didn?t look right and called Rick and he came over and fixed it promptly. When we decided to get a new sliding door, we knew the quality of Rick?s company and only called them. His brother installs the doors and also did a fantastic job. Showed up on time and went right to work. Only took him a few hours and the door was installed. We did have a slight problem with one of the locks on the door and I called Rick at 8:45PM. He answered the phone and was back at my house the next day to fix the small problem. The thing I like the most is the personal touch Rick brings to the table. One of the big company?s wouldn?t answer the phone at 8:45 at night and come out the next day. They would have had to schedule something and I probably had to leave work for a four hour window. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs windows or doors.

I had a good experience with them. We went through a number of estimates from a number of companies coming in but we liked the person we dealt with there. He was courteous, not too pushy and basically gave the basics of their product not requiring us to spend hours talking to him or come back or "how about this price". This was the second time we replaced the windows, we had it done first when we moved in to this house like twenty five years ago but this was a good experience in that regard. They are nice to deal with. The only complain we would have is that we have marble window seals in our windows and apparently whatever they had to do to remove the old windows, they did leave some scratches on the window seals. I mean, they are not terrible, its lower house so they are not perfect windows anyway, but they did do some damage to those. We had the owner come out and look at those so he can warn them that you need to be more careful in the future. That was really the only bad experience with them that they had done a little bit damage to the window seals. They were right at par with everybody else in terms of price, it was a good price and he gave good advice. We are very pleased with the windows but they did do the damage. There really hasn't been any issue. They came in, got all windows done promptly and we haven't had to call them back for any thing. They were prompt and in fact we were surprised how quickly we got on their schedule and they got it done. Even thought, they don't do glass block windows they sub-contracted it to somebody else and we thought that was going to be delayed but they made sure to get that guy to come and he did his work also. He did a nice job as glass block windows but he kind of left little bit of a mess so he could have been neater in doing his work. But, he doesn't work for Specialty Windows and Door. I mentioned that to the owner when he came to get the final payment and everything. We were pleased with the glass block windows, the sub-contractor had done a good job of installing them and they were nicely done. He just could have been a little less messy and would have cleaned up a little better. They were very punctual. I would use them again in future if needed.
