Description of Work: Handymen

Description of Work: My parents are older and reside in Pittsburgh. I live in Virginia and I try to do as much for them as I can even though I live out of state. They had a contractor come in and cut away their rot iron railing and install an oak railing going up the steps inside their house. My father relies on the railing because he has a hard time getting up and down the steps. The first time he went to use the railing for support it pulled right out of the drywall because the first contractor had just bolted it through the drywall and did not mount it to anything sturdy that would withstand the weight. This was a hugh safety factor and the previous contractor would not come back to fix it...he already got his money. I contacted Anthony Murrell from Repair Remodel & Maintain and explained the situation/problem. I told him that I would be in from Virgina for a brief period for the holidays. We set up a time to meet. When he got to the house he looked over the railing and wrote some things down. He took my phone number and email and said that I would receive an estimate."in about a week". We received the estimate and work was started immediately. The work has since been completed above expectations. Anthony even fixed and replaced minor things that were not asked of him without charge while in the course of doing the railing. I highly recommend Repair, Remodel, and Maintain. My parents have already discussed with Anthony about fixing their railroad tie wall in the backyard and although Anthony does not do that kind of work, he was able to offer a suggestion as to someone who might.

Description of Work: Overall, RRM does a lot of work in my home. They are the guys that I call to do any maintenance around my house such as cutting the grass, mowing the lawn, small repairs, seeing why the heat doesn't work, helping with roofing problems, etc... Price varies on the projects. For example, cutting grass depends on your yard, but I paid $25. They do emergency calls as well. But prices are fair and work is excellent.

Description of Work: They are doing carpentry, floor tiling, drywall, lawn service, drop ceilings, & locksmith for me.
