The job went great. They were very informative as how the job would be done and how long it would take. The guys were very nice and polite, cleaned up as they went and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. From our initial call to when the job was finished everything went smooth. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an insulation company.

Because our house was built in 1959, there was no insulation in the exterior walls. This created condensation issues in the winter when the furnace and humidifier was on. After doing a lot of research on the web and comparing blown-in fiberglass versus cellulose and viewing several videos on the web, we decided to go with Everlast who only install blown-in fiberglass insulation. They have an excellent website with a video of how the entire process works. I contacted Everlast to see if this would resolve this issue and they said that it is common with this age of house and that it would. After we contacted the contractor, which is a family owned business, Dan Sr came out to measure and get information for the estimate. Within a couple of days they provided a detailed quote and an explanation on how it will be installed. Since the majority of our house is brick then they installed the insulation from the inside. The part that has siding on it they installed the insulation from the outside to minimize the dirt. There were some questions that we had leading up to the installation and when I called, Melissa was able to get the answers for us. The nice thing about working with a family-owned business is that they understand what customer service is all about even when it means having to work after 5:00. After the job was scheduled the date arrived and a team of two arrived, Justin and Dan. After looking over the job they started work. The first thing they did was cover everything with plastic to protect all of the furniture. Then they proceeded to start to drill the holes for the insulation. To minimize the amount of dust blowing through the air, they used a shop vac by the drill. They drilled one whole between each stud. After all of the wholes were drilled in the house, they proceeded to begin blowing in the insulation. Everything was blown in from the truck so all that they had in the house were hoses that delivered the insulation. As the walls were insulated, Justin started to patch all of the wholes with plugs that they make on site. He then put three coats of plaster over them and then matched the texture of the walls. If I would have had the paint they would have painted the patches as well but since we were looking at repainting the house I mentioned that they didn't need to worry about it. We have a 2 and half year old son who is very inquisitive and 1 year old girl. They took extra care in working around them. Our son was very curious about all of the equipment that was being used so he asked a lot of questions. Both Justin and Dan were great at answering him and talking with him and didn't seem bothered at all. All in all it took them 2 entire days to complete the job. They did an excellent job and cleaned up each day before they left. If you have an older home or if you are planning on building I would highly recommend Everlast Insulation to insulate your house. Although we didn't have a harsh winter like we did last year, we did notice that there was no condensation inside on the exterior walls and we ran the humidifier as we did the year before. It was well worth the investment.

One end of my home, with a cantilever (overhang) floor, had become very hot in the summer and unbearably cold in the winter (especially when it was both cold AND windy outside). It became progressively worse over the years. I called Everlast in January, and had an evaluation performed inside and outside my home. Received a quote in the mail a few days later, and once the weather warmed up in the spring, the insulation was blown into the cantilever (there was very little insulation there - it was poorly installed by the builder and loosened significantly). They thought I might need insulation in the outer walls, but after opening some of the sheathing behind the siding, they found the walls themselves to be well-insulated. As a result, the final amount I paid was reduced greatly from the original quote. Since the installation, we have had numerous 80+ degree days, and it is now very comfortable in the room adjacent to the cantilever floor. This side of my home gets the hot afternoon sun. Prior to the installation, it would be hot and stuffy in the room, and the closet in this room would feel like a sauna. The air-conditioned air from the HVAC ducts is also significantly cooler with the insulation surrounding them. An even bigger test will come in the winter months, when it becomes cold and windy, but given the instant tangible results at the other temperature extreme, I am quite confident that it will be much more comfortable when winter returns.

The crew showed up at our home promptly and were very friendly and knowledgeable. The job itself took only a few hours and everything was done in a timely and professional manner. We couldn't have been happier and have had them come back to do a few smaller insulation jobs. I spoke with Dan and Missy Steffey quite a few times and both were very friendly and helpful. Very compassionate and kind hearted individuals. I spoke with Lowes and a few other companies prior to hiring Everlast to shop for the best price etc. Everlast not only had the best price but it was refreshing to be able to do business with people that actually CARE about their customers. That is a rare occurrence these days. So if you are looking for insulation. Do yourself a favor and call Everlast. You wont regret it :)

Great family-owned company. My calls were handled professionally. The father came to my home and gave me an estimate promptly on the date and time they told me. I had previously sought estimates from Lowe's and Home Depot. To my surprise, Everlast was cheaper. But more important, he seemed to know a lot more about what he was talking about and the extra details that needed to be done with blown-in insulation. Once I decided to go ahead, they had had a cancellation and were able to fit me in the next day. Two men arrived on time and proceeded to do prep work for over an hour doing many of the things that the others had neglected to mention and I presume would not have done. The whole job took 3 hours including clean-up. The house was left exactly as they found it with not mess at all. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with a contractor.

The team arrived promptly at 9:00. They got right to work. Unfortunately for them, a weird rain/snow combination blew in that day. I will give them credit--they never stopped working and had the whole job finished by 3 pm. And when I say finished, I mean the entire sight was cleaned up and the holes inside were replastered. Nice job!

IT WAS DUSTIER THAN I THOUGHT, IF U EVER WANT THIS DONE TRY TO GET DONE BEFORE U MOVE IN . THE WORK WAS DONE IN TWO DAYS AND ON THE 2ND DAY THE OWNER CAME TO CHECK OUT THE JOB . OVER THE YEARS I THINK MY HOME IS COOLER IN THE SUMMER AND WARMER IN THE WINTER. THE INSULATION HAS ALSO HELPED BLOCKING OUT THE OUTSIDE NOISE. THERE WAS A ISSUE WITH ONE OF THEIR PAYMENT ISSUES BUT IS WAS IRONED OUT OVERALLT WAS A GOOD JOB. MISSY WAS VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL EVERY TIME I SPOKE TO HER AT THE OFFICE . YES I WOULD RECOMMEND AND HIRE AGAIN

They were great that I will have them come back to insulate my outside walls all around the house. They're prompt, they were here when they say they are , reasonable, do nice work, and now they coming back again to insulate my outside walls and we'll see what happens then.

They did a good job, cleaned up very well. It was just two men and they did very well. I prefer them over the other company I used before. They take oart of the siding off, drill a small hole, and they blow insulation in there, plug that hole, and put siding back on. I would tell a friend or family member about them. They were very neat and cleaned everything up with a shop vacuum. They were very thorough with everything they did. They were very personable, minded their own business, and did their work. I have no complaints. I asked questions and they answered.

I had an excellent experience with Everlast Insulation. They are a very friendly, family owned company. They were punctual and professional as they insulated my home. After my home was insulated, I noticed a decrease in my energy bills and more comfortable rooms with less drafts. I highly recommend Everlast Insulation for anybody who is looking for energy savings in their home.
