Description of Work: Joe Harvey, the estimator for Platinum created a few estimates for me because I wasn't sure what I wanted at first. He was patient and came out twice to do the measuring. After I hired Platinum, the crew showed up within the time frame given. They worked efficiently and were gone in a couple of hours. My neighbor, a contractor himself, told me that he watched the crew work and was impressed with the job they did. He was also impressed with the final cost, saying that it was a good deal. Platinum was the second estimate I received. The first estimate was nearly twice Platinum's, and yet was for the same exact quantity of materials and area to be paved (driveway approx. 15' x 70'). Joe advised me that Platinum owns their equipment and their company is located next door to the blacktop supplier where they buy their material. So that makes them more cost-efficient in their business and can offer more reasonable bids. Needless to say, I am quite pleased. They also install pavers so I got an estimate for that work as well but opted to just do the driveway paving for now. But if I decide to install the paver walkway later, I'll definitely work with Platinum again. A+ all around!

Description of Work: plowed driveway, seemed expensive for a one time through plow of driveway that was not heavily banked in snow. Have paid $60 before. Very professional and otherwise great but were over-priced even with out long driveway.

Description of Work: I need my driveway paved and Eric came out as scheduled to talk to me, show me what he thinks needs to be done and he gave me an estimate. He was very personable and very professional. He seemed rather knowledgable and honest. Honesty very important to us. We will use him to do our driveway as soon as we can. Recommend this company.

Description of Work: With a recommendation from a friend who had sealcoating done. I called and Eric came out within days and pleasantly surprised me with an estimate and the news that our old driveway did not need to be totally dug up and we lined up the repaving quickly as someone else canceled. In 6 hours the crew scraped it all and hand-dug sections and paved our long sloping driveway. That very day Eric met an additional need since I had removed two feet of dirt and ivy from the long outside edge and he came up with a tall curb from additional asphalt. That was SO extra appreciated! Two other water diversion needs were met as the crew added enough extra asphalt to level the driveway parking pad while actually molding the lower edge to get that water through the four pipes in the wall (pipes were inches higher than the old driveway) and covering an unstable stone slab leading down to the patio. Have done so many amateur attempts to deal with the water flows and having a driveway actually DO all of this for me is amazing! All signs that these guys know how to solve problems not just pave!

Description of Work: Still getting estimates but this company was prompt, courteous and very professional. Price seemed appropriate and are considering them for the replacement of our existing driveway.

Description of Work: I called Eric to see if he could plow/shovel last minute when we got one of the first big snowstorms of the season. He was very responsive and could, thankfully, fit us in. He came by to first plow our driveway so we could get out, then came back to do the sidewalks. He and his team were great and even helped out a neighbor in need, for free! We will be calling him again next winter as well as for an estimate this summer on paving our driveway.

Description of Work: They repaired cracks and sealcoated the driveway. They arrived in the morning and finished the job in maybe a half hour. Neat and tidy.

Description of Work: I called the day of one of our major snowstorms and Eric promised he could come by later that morning. He did - plowed our driveway and came back with a snowblower to do our sidewalks.
