Needed to replace Old exterior Door, and also installed a Anderson Insulated storm door. Also installed Hard Wood flooring in entry way. Their project manager and quot;Richand quot; was great to deal with. Came out and looked at the Job, and sent out a quote a couple days later. We accepted their offer, and were very pleased with their work. They were very respectable, and cleaned up, and took all the mess away. I would defintely recommend them to do your work. ith the job.

Roof was missing shingle tabs in various locations following the hurricane. They came out, determined what needed to be done and returned to fix it. Roof looks great again. Extremely pleasant and efficient.

We started planning in late October and by December 12 the project began. Barring a few ordering issues, Pete and Chris Munz couldn't have provided more professionalism, responsiveness and overall personal commitment to completing the project to our satisfaction. The final caulking of the shower was done today, 5/7 - however the kitchen was in working order within 2 months after the project started. Punchout list was done over the last couple of months and Pete kept us informed of everything and when we were to expect the tasks to be completed. We are extremely satisfied with the service and quality we have received from Munz. Highly recommended.

Munz is the best. Seriously. I can't even begin to describe what a great experience it was working with them. We renovated our entire home along with an addition that doubled its size. HUGE project. We did this all while my wife was pregnant with our first child. Chris and his team promised us it would be ready for the baby... guess what... It was and we were able to live there during the project. Service after the project has been top notch. I would recommend them HIGHLY. One thing worth noting is that they are flexible, I took responsibility for flooring, paint, electric, doors and all fixtures. There was no finger pointing or resentment, they just told me when it was time to get my guys in or out. A+++ Experience.

Overall, it was a case of expectations not being met (from the initial visit through the quote arriving), as well as price being significantly higher than two other competitors.

I am happy with Munz Construction's work. They were punctual and they worked within the time frame fixed before. They did the job within the quoted price without adding things to it. They were honest and gave me different options when something came up.

We had hired other contractors and they messed up our basement and didn't have it up to code. They worked with us because we were trying to sell our house and we were under a time crunch. They were nice and clean. They were very quick. Everything was done very nicely. The price was pretty good. I don't think they were the cheapest but they were the most thorough.

I was very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work. Crew size of 4. Project manager would be there at least once a day. Job Forman made several welcome suggestions about how to improve the look of the job. These suggestions were extra charges, but they definitely improved the finished look of the house. The extra charges were very reasonable. The job lasted 8 working days that included 2 weekends where work would stop. However crew showed up everyday promptly at 7:30 am, and worked till 4 M-F. They were very professional and attentive to doing a quality job. I was very pleased with the choice of products offered in the quotes and I am very happy with the look and quality of Alside Prodigy. It was the most expensive choice, but it was worth the extra 2K over the next siding choice (Alside Charter Oak which also a nice product). There was a mistake made in ordering the windows. I ordered windows with grids (6 over 6), but the windows arrived clear (no grids). Also, some of the windows did not have the energy ratings that would meet the federal requirements for energy efficiency improvements ($1500 credit). I know this because I checked stickers on several windows. Some were OK and some did not meet the standard - again - as ordered. This was addressed without issue. Munz ordered new replacement sashes, with the grids and appropriate energy star rating, at no charge. They even let me keep the original sashes so now I have a complete set of replacements in case a window is broken. The crew was experienced and it was clear that they took pride in their workmanship. Each member of the crew was pleasant and willing (and able) to talk about the job. I am very pleased with the work Munz performed, and I will definitely call them again for my next remodel project.

They were our 2nd estimate for the job, and came in $5,000 less than the first company (the first company, by the way, was very pushy with the salesmen). Munz took measurements, counted windows, etc and a few days later we had a typed estimate mailed to us. It took a while for them to start the job, but they had warned us already and there were no surprises (they were busy that time of year). Once they started, the workers were professional, arrived mostly on time, and the craftsmanship was excellent. The only problem we had dealt with the garage doors. Apparently there was a mix-up with the subcontractors and it took an extra couple of weeks to get the doors installed. However, they gave us a free upgrade in the doors (without us even asking), making it well worth the wait. We also had a leaking chimney we asked them to look at. A previous chimney contractor told us we needed some expensive work (I don't recall exactly) to fix it--over $1,000. Munz fixed it for $300 by replacing some flashing and resealing it, and it hasn't leaked since. A point to note--after the job, there were a few small issues around door locks, some pieces of siding, etc. We would call and within a day or two they were there to fix it. When they guarantee their work, they mean it. Overall, they were great and we will use them again. We found them to be very honest with pricing and they do not try to sell us work that is not needed. They do a lot of jobs in our neighborhood and would not risk the bad publicity. Yes, some people find them to be on the pricey side, but we found their craftsmanship to be excellent.
