Leak under sink in kitchin. fast service. Had leak in roof at chimmny, very bad flashing work. Called and he said that there as not a problem with the flashing. Leak two more times after that and I am getting a new and right flashing job done .

Their work has always been great quality. Very professional. Would highly recommend them.

It went really well - from beginning to end! Considering too that we had to deal with our insurance company entangled amongst all our dealings. Our contact point Erich was really great - patient and understanding, while straightforward and getting what needed to be done completed. Chris, the owner, also made himself accessible which can sometimes be rare for a business, especially for an owner-operated one, but Chris was a presence and that's important. As for the work on the day of the project-start, the crew showed up on time as we were told. They got right to work, wasting no time and doing everything they needed to do. They got the job done in under two days considering everything that had to be done, and they left our home and surroundings spotless, as promised. In fact, they moved things away from the side of our home, things off our patio and covered everything to boot for extra protection. When the job was done they also put everything back as it was. One concern for us too was making sure there were no erroneous nails in our side yard, patio, etc., and they kept to their word - again, our home surroundings were spotless. Our attic needed to cleaned up post-work as well, and they came back to do that and did a nice job. They also sent and quot;Uncle Boband quot; to trim our skylights and true to what we heard/were told, he did a beautiful job. I could go on, but the bottom line is this a great construction company and we absolutely plan on using them again for future projects! If you want good work from real, honest, hard-working people, go with Munz!

They did a very good job. They were very prompt and did a very quick work.

I was in the Mechanical Construction industry for 41 years. This project was based on my specs. I was in the commercial and industrial end of the business and dealt with union contractors. However in the suburbs and in the residential end you are dealing mainly with non union contractors. Therefore I reviewed three contractors on ANGIE'S LIST. Each contractor had to have 25 yrs. experience, a certified GAF architectural HD asphalt tile installer ( type tile I speced ) and good ratings on ANGIE/S LIST. Also I speced the type of gutters to be installed and the manufacture of the skylights and using their flashing kit . So each bidder was bidding apples per apples and therefore the lowest bidder was going to get the job. Two of the contractors were exactly 1700.00 higher than the lowest bidder which was Munz. I set up the job with Munz they told me they would start the job in 4 weeks because the skylights I speced were a special order .They kept their promise and job started as scheduled . I have 40 bushes around my house and was concerned of damage to them however they protected them great. The only problem was two of my window screens were blown out in the removal process of the old roofing tiles. Within 3 days the screening material was replaced. The foreman on the job addressed all my concerns as this project was moving along and was very personable. There were three roofers doing the work and in one day the new roof and skylights were completed. The next day the gutters were installed to my specifications and completed in the same day. The men on this job were very professional and hard workers. I was very pleased with the job and I recommended Munz to my neighbor down the street. He also was very pleased with the job they did for him. Yes I would definitely hire Munz again.

They arrived as promised and tarped all areas. Scrapped off old roof into a dumpster. They then installed new roofing material.Worked 10hrs first day and finished the 2nd day around 2pm. Workers were very polite and worked very carefully. Only issues I had was because it was windy some of my screens were damaged because the tarps were blowing up. I pointed this out to my Rep Erich and he addressed these right away. They repaired the screens immediately. Kept appologizing but it was very windy and couldn't be helped. They reacted perfectly. Very nice company to do business with. Their price was the lowest but their service was the best. Please use them. You won't be sorry.

We did not have the work done by anyone.

We were very pleased with the outcome and the very high professionalism of the Munz team. The and quot;afterand quot; is just what we expected and is a substantial improvement over the and quot;beforeand quot;. Every craftsman performed their work with great care. One example of this was how the new shower pan was handled. When it was first delivered, it had a very small crack in what we perceived to be an unnoticeable location. The plumber said he would not feel comfortable guaranteeing that it would not leak. The PM decided to send it back to the supplier. The second on came with yet another crack. The supplier, BTW, is a major name in kitchen and bath. For the third delivery, the PM personally inspected it on delivery to Munz and to the job site to ensure it was flawless. Another example was how well the siding was done. The back of our home is south facing. It gets a lot of sun. A sliding glass door is considerably larger than a single double-sash window. we had every expectation that there would be a period of time before the new would blend with the old. We were extremely pleased when they finished because it was a perfect match. There were some thing that could have gone better. We would have preferred a more detailed breakdown of costs in order to make better decisions on where our limited funds would be used. For example to stay within our budget, we had the painting removed from the work order. This forced us to find someone to the painting. To be quite frank, we're not sure it saved that much, but how could we tell? In retrospect, it all worked out to our satisfaction.

We left a message for Muniz to call and appointment per thier v/m mssg. Never heard back from them. Called again never responded.

After being offered a great Angie's List deal for this contractor, we got an estimate to have our side-entry door replaced by a new Pella door and storm door with all hardware. Once I received the estimate, I purchased 4 coupons through Angie's List for a total of $1000 which represented a $2000 value toward the total job, saving us $1000! We were considering having this work done at some point in the near future anyway but the time-sensitive nature of the Angie's List offer made us consider having the job done a little sooner than we had anticipated...but it saved us $1000 so we felt it was worth it. After sending several e-mails and waiting for return-responses that didn't always come in a timely fashion, we finally connected and ironed-out the details of the door styles and hardware we wanted. We waited 4 weeks for our ordered doors to arrive from the manufacturer and were notified by our salesman that the doors could be installed on August 7 if that fit into our schedule. We gave him the ok and the 2 installers arrived at 10AM on 8/7 as promised. They were courteous, professional and didn't waste any time completing the job. The old doors were removed, replaced by the new Pella doors, outside wood-trim was capped with aluminum and the installers left 3 hours after they arrived. The old doors were hauled away and the work-area (both inside and outside of the house) was nicely cleaned up of any construction debris and trash. Before leaving, Nick showed me the fit and operation of the doors and everything operated nicely.

I am still waiting to have the windows installed. They have been very responsive.

So far the service has been very good. I plan on using them soon.

We had a problem with a leak. They were very prompt in coming over with a temporary fix. They are very responsive to take care of any problems. Their prices are competitive and reasonable.

They did a great job. I was very satisfied with the service. One of the employees discovered a small leak that had nothing to do with door and he was able to fix it right away. Their work was good. I called them back for other projects and their prices were a bit high. They were very professional, prompt and did the job quickly.

out I purchased a Deal for two hours of roof repair on Angie's list when I noticed that we has some damage from the storm and were missing 2 or 3 shingles - we had no leaks and did not require immediate service and I offered to wait until the following week when they were in my area. They came examined the roof and found about 3 times as many affected shingles. In their warehouse, he was able to locate some older shingles that were a very close match to my older shingles. The day he came to install, he arrived exactly on time and quickly and repaired/replace the affacted shingles. He noted also that the seals around the vent stacks and chimneys were quite old and brittle and needed repair/sealing. He went ahead and did this while he was there. There was no extra charges and no attempts to upsell any product or service. Very happy here.

The office worker took my name. She said an estimator will call you next week. I asked her once I get the call, how many days away would the estimate be. She had no idea. After TWO weeks without a call, I called the office. The same woman answered. I gave her my name and asked her what the delay was in getting a call from the estimator. She told me she would have to find out what happened. She also told me she does NOT log the calls into a computer system or anything like that in which she could follow up on. She stated that, on July 2 when I first called, she simply wrote my name and number down and gave it to an estimator. I realized at that point, I was basically an unknown entity to this company. I also realized that - even though she stated she would find out what is happening and that someone from the company would call me soon - I would never be contacted. And that is exactly what happened. I have never heard from Munz. It would be nice if a company would simply say and quot;We have enough work, we are not interested at this time.and quot; Because I am sure they have many contracts, having received rave reviews on Angie's list(which is why I called them). Probably 50% of their customers come from Angie's. I told the woman working the office that the policy of just writing my name down and handing it off and not recording it for her records was an absurd business practice and did Munz really want to take a chance of this happening frequently and having Angie's members write bad reviews?? Well, that is what happened in this case, sadly.

We started off slowly some miss communication but Chris responded promptly when called. The guys that performed the work were very professional cleaned up at the end of the day we were very pleased with their workmanship.

Was very thorough and gave a reasonable estimate. Work has not been scheduled yet.

They did the job well. They weren't the cheapest. They were more expensive than others but they did the job right. They did a good job.

Great service on the phone. Quick scheduling of on site repair. Minor leaking after repair, but they quickly responded to issue and came back out again. Problem resolved.

I don't like to write negative reviews but in this case I feel I have to due to non-responsiveness of the contractor. I called Munz Construction on Tuesday 3/12/13 and left a message stating I saw their advertisement for two hours of roof repair on Angie's list. I waited three days plus, actually 4 days now as of the day I am writing this review,and I still have not received the courtesy of a return phone call. At a minimum a return phone call would have been nice. I will look again on Angie's list for another roofing contractor. I can't advise on price or any of the other categories for the reason I stated above. UPDATE: on 3/25/13 I did receive a call back from Eric to discuss my roofing issue. He did apologize for the length of time it has taken to return my initial phone call. It was nice to receive a return call. Eric informed me I should receive another call by Thursday 3/28/13 to schedule an estimator to come out and discuss my roofing issues. Once the visit is over I will provide another update to this review. UPDATE: On 3/27/13 I did receive a call from the estimator/repairman Carlos as Eric said I would. I scheduled Carlos to come out on Friday 3/29/13 and he was ahead of schedule so he called and asked if he could come out sooner than our original agreed upon time. So I agreed and Carlos showed up on time. He was very personable and very professional. He took a look at our roof and took some photos to show what he had seen. He made some repairs on the spot and explained what he had done. I was very satisfied when he left. We'll have to wait until the next rain storm to see what happens...lol......But my follow-up experience has been much better than the initial experience. My rating has increased based on the latest interaction.

Contacted the company regarding repairing a leak in the ceiling coming from the outside. They used a third party estimator who sent out an estimator only for the interior work and had not been told that the leak was coming form the outside. He declined to give an estimate until the estimator for the exterior came out. The exterior estimator said he could not find a problem and that he would have to talk to the interior estimator. Finally any calls to both estimators were never returned. A call to the construction company said that the estimator would contact us, but again never happened.

Great experience. Carlos was really nice to deal with and his promptness was awesome. Hopefully, we won't have to call him any time soon!

They were an excellent company and I would invite them back again.

I obtained three estimates for the work I was planning and the job was awarded to Munz Construction. Some of the reasons they got the job were their price, not the lowest nor the highest, a relative had used them and had a good result, and finally they were Certified Pella installers and I had decided to switch from Anderson windows to Pella. The overall workmanship was very good and the end result I am please with. The only reason I did not give them an excellent rating is that there was some project management issue that caused delays that could have been avoided.
