+ -1 morePhil was right on time in visiting our home and offered an estimate on the spot. He noticed all the problems originally cited by the building inspector and provided a plan to complete necessary repairs with a minimum of disruption. While his estimate was the lowest among the contractors solicited for the job, his plan to add extra wood to the deck railing and stairs was less finished than the other contractors we considered.
Description of Work: Phil Barday visited my home to inspect a deck on a recently purchased home which was in disrepair and had been built without a permit by a previous contractor. Phil and a co-worker thoroughly inspected the deck, cited the problems noted by the building inspector, and offered a proposal for the necessary repairs to bring in up to code.

+ -1 moreHe will be coming in to build a completely new deck and also add footers. The size of the deck is 12 x 20 and it will be pressure treated wood with stairs. He has done work for me in the past and I am looking forward to working with him. He had a professional contract for me as well as a written assurance of the quality of his work.
Description of Work: Barday Construction is scheduled to come in and replace my deck ($7500).

He emptied my garage prior to working and then put everything back after that. He also cleaned up after himself. I am using him for another job.

+ -1 moreWe hired Barday Construction to finish a renovation project after we were left in the lurch by our previous contractor. Phil Barday and his crew came to the rescue. They are the best-their professionalism and attention to details was a surprising find in today's contracting market. They were timely and reasonably priced and completed the projects to my complete satisfaction. Whenever I had any concern it was addressed and resolved to my complete satisfaction. I have since hired Phil and his company for many other projects and keep their number on speed dial. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family and anyone who needs a great general contractor!
