Our AC unit started to fail last summer and we contacted Anderson Mechanical. Mike came out to try and fix the problem, but with the age of our old unit we need to completely replace it. At the time we also requested estimates to replace our oil furnace and upgrade to a gas furnace. We quickly received a detailed estimate that provided with will all our options. Mike and Tyler were very knowledgeable and explained every detail of what they were doing and why. Once installation was completed, Tyler stayed behind and explain the new unit, how to complete rebates, and what information to use for taxes. I highly recommend Anderson Mechanical!!

My 10-year old heat pump needed a $2000+ repair, so I decided to replace it completely, as well as the water heater. I had 4 or 5 different companies out to give estimates. Not only was Anderson's the most fairly priced, but they were extremely helpful in laying out all my options. The air handler and the water heater are both in a utility closet BEHIND a well pump and a water softener, so there's a lot of extra labor involved (cutting pipes, etc). They were the only ones who even suggested the idea of adding quick-release valves to the pipes, to make it easier to do any repair jobs in the future. They were both knowledgeable and friendly. It was a pretty big job, but it went off without a hitch. And the cleanup was remarkable, leaving no trace that they were ever there! Mike and Tyler are both extremely professional, and I am very happy with the service & price. They were also very helpful in answering all of my questions, as well as handling all the warranty paperwork for me. I will definitely be contacting them in the future for any maintenance or repairs.

The two guys that showed up were very clean and professional. They explained everything that needed done as they did it. They did a thorough job, not just band aiding the system. We were amazed at the change in our system after they completed the repair. We are going to contract this company to install a more energy efficient unit in the spring.

These guys were great! Professional, helpful, and right there when we needed them. We woke up in zero degree weather with no heat and a horrible oil smell. We called at 8:30 am and they were here within minutes. They found the problem, found the replacement part, we had heat within hours. Lifesavers!

They are the best. I have used them for 2 years now. They are very attentive to detail. They have total integrity that if they see something that needs attention, they will bring it up. They are not only narrowly focused on that I asked them to do, they are looking at the whole system. Their pricing is very reasonable. I also have their mobile phone number and they are always right there when I contact them. I always talk to someone who is knowledgeable and takes care of what needs to be done. I wished I could give them an A+.

Service exceeded our expectations! Called for AC service Phone answered and with-in an hour Tyler arrived at our location. Tyler was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He was able to diagnose and fix our system and answer all of our questions. NO up-sell or BS. I would highly recommend Anderson Mechanical.

Communicated with them Monday morning, fully expecting a Tues or Weds appointment, but they were able to fit us in later that morning which was awesome after not having air con all weekend! They were able to troubleshoot the problem quickly and fixed the unit after running for parts (my unit is older and universal parts aren't ideal). They were also incredibly patient helping me get the fix approved through my home warranty so I could get reimbursed, home warranty companies are not fun to deal with! Its really nice knowing we have an awesome HVAC team we can depend on!

I informed Angie's List Concierge service of my required project outcomes and expectations and they confirmed/scheduled the Service Provider that best met my desires. John Seitz from Angie's List Concierge service was especially helpful and responsive to my inquires and deserves kudos. Andersen Mechanical thoroughly addressed my HVAC issue and sump pump concern. I was very pleased with their service and cost (i.e. I received a $25 discount for being an Angie's List member.). The only thing I would recommend is that the Service Provider technicians use foot wear protection before entering the customer home or at a minimum ask the home customer if they prefer the use of foot protection prior to entering customer home; just an Continual Service Improvement recommendation.

They were the second company we contacted for a quote. The first company wanted to charge us $5000 for duct work alone. We ended up being charged half the amount to have both the duct work AND electric baseboard installation with Andersons. They were extremely friendly and professional and performed the work as discussed. They also serviced our ac unit for free and gave us a discount for being angie's list members. They also provided some pointers on things like how often to change filters, etc. We were very happy with the service provided, the price, and the professionalism of Mike and Tyler. We were so happy that we will also be scheduling an appointment to have them service the furnace. We would definitely recommend them!

I have used Anderson before. These guys are the real deal. Good service, honest work. The quality of the work speaks for itself. I quoted the job out and they are competive. They worked with me on getting a system within my budget. I read the negative review on angies list and felt compelled to write another review for these guys. I have used Anderson about 6 times in the past few years and each time I am pleased with the results. I have given their name out to friends and family. Use these guys.

We have 2 heat pumps - the one that supplies our bedroom area recently stopped working. It was 24 years old which is pretty amazing in itself but we were ALWAYS cold. We tried other fixes, even added more attic insulation, but nothing really did the job. This new heat pump has solved the problem. We are toasty warm and have not adjusted the thermostat - still at 68 degrees. Tyler and Mike were terrific in every way! They were prompt, personable, and efficient. They gave us 3 options (different price points...good, better, best). We ended up going with the "better" option (which had a $300 federal rebate which brought our actual cost to below $5000. Our new heat pump had a great warranty, too. We have a great dane and both guys were wonderful with her - even when we were away from the house (we felt perfectly comfortable leaving them alone in our home). Mike and Tyler were very respectful of our home by using drop clothes, shoe coverings, etc. Anderson Mechanical is our new HVAC company - they will do our yearly maintenance from here on in!

I set up an appointment with Anderson's and they seemed nice and knowledgable. As stated above the appointment was for 10/24/13 Thursday morning at 9AM. I received at phone call at 9AM that morning... The actual time of the appointment to let me know they would be a hour late because he forgot to calculate the travel time. I was understandable and agreed to wait the hour. BUT after I agreed to wait the extra hour because of their very unprofessional scheduling... He told me they had to add extra fees to my bill for travel time! After already being late and trying to scam me for more fees, I became irrated and let him know how unprofessional he and his company is. He didn't like to hear that and told me to find another company then hung up on me. So after all that I had to hire another company to do the job and I am thankful for that because I'm sure it wouldn't have been fixed properly in the end. STAY AWAY FROM ANDERSON'S MECHANICAL HVAC LLC! -After reading the response from Andersons I feel I have to add that all of this could have been avoided if the company would have provided proper scheduling and billing to myself the customer. -What reputable company would ever call a customer on the date of the scheuled service to let them know that your property is futher then expected and will cost more to service? These things should be done in advance so the customers time and the companies time isnt wasted. You the customer can be the judge.

This company was awesome. I called them on 10/28/13 to have my furnace restarted. They informed me of their hourly rate, but stated if it was just a simple restart job they could charge me for a half hour. Most other companies I called charged for an hour minimum no matter how long they'd be there. They also made themselves available the same day, but I was stuck at work. Therefore, the service was set for the very next day, 10/29/13. They informed me they would come by after completing another job. They arrived accordingly and completed the job very quickly. I expected to pay for at least a half hour of time, but they didn't charge me a dime since the job was so quick and easy. They also provided information on converting my oil furnance to gas. These guys (Tyler and a co-worker--- can't remember his name) were very friendly and professional. A lot of companies turn me off by having bad customer service skills, but these guys were great through the whole process. I would recommend Anderson Mechanical and also use them again in the future!

Our air conditioner broke due to deficient coils in our 3-year old system. Anderson Mechnical took care of the problem and even filled up our system with freon so that we could have the air on over the weekend! They took care of the warrenty paperwork for our coils and came in under the estimate provided! I felt comfortable with them in my house and would use them again!

Mike and Tyler came out same day (on a friday) to evaluate our water heater. They ended up replacing our water heater's ignitor. They were done with the whole repair in an hour. They gave us a great price even granting us an Angie's list coupon we didn't bring up. Things have been working great since the work was done.

Mike and Tyler were awesome! They came by the same day they were called on a hot Friday afternoon to evaluate our broken AC. They took the time to explain everything they were doing at a level we could understand. They determined we needed a new AC unit (ours was 24 years old and leaking). They filled the unit with refrigerant to get us through the weekend until we made our decision on whether we wanted to spend the money for a new unit. The estimate they sent us was comprehensive. It included the prices and also links to the websites for the AC units they were recommending. They discussed with us the efficiency of our heating system as well as recommended installing a heat pump (it was only a few hundred dollars more than an AC unit) so we could have a dual fuel heating system. Their contract guarantees their work for 2 years. They were prompt in getting back to us. Installed the entire unit in one day and have checked back with us a few times to make sure that everything was working well. Their price was great. In discussing the price they actually gave us a better price that we expected by giving us an Angie's list coupon that we weren't aware of.

I called Anderson Mechanical on Thursday after receiving a very high quote from another company that came out to look at the unit and diagnose the problem. Tyler was able to give me an approximate quote over the phone and also told me about an online coupon to use. He came over to look at the unit on Friday, ordered the part needed and my unit was fixed on Monday. Tyler and Mike were both very professional and friendly and I will definitely use them again in the future!

very well; originally was told unsure about whether would be out today or worst case tomorrow'; called same day and was out by lunchtime which meant a lot since wife is asthmatic and we have two kids under 4; the serviceman, Tyler, was professional and took a detailed look at the unit and also the duct system underneath; discovered a water leak under one side which we were unaware; looked inside to see if proper airflow was coming out and found problem area; changed filter and gave us extra at no cost; also educated us on some proper maintenance to keep system up and running

They came out to us immediately when we called, assessed the situation and gave us honest advice concerning the cooling system. We needed to remove,replace and install a new air conditioning system at our business location. Anderson gave us a great price,great courteous service, and quick/quality installation. The techicians went above and beyond to make sure they did not track dirt or dust through our building each time they needed to get to the second floor crawl space to work. We were very pleased with their service, price, and knowledge of this company.
