George's Complete Kitchen and Bath

He had suggestions as how to do things cheaper or more effectively. Everything turned out very well.

He told me that he put tile in and subcontracted for everything. He gave me some measurements and told me how much I needed to buy. I felt more comfortable with him. I got more of a sense of confidence with him. He spoke well. I felt that he would do a good job. He told me that the painter would not paint the door or any trim. He said the plumber would not want to use the items that I bought from Home Depot. I asked to speak to the plumber and let him know I wanted to go to his supplier and select items but the plumber said he would use what I have. I emailed the contractor with the information and told him I wanted him to do the job but that I wanted him to paint the door and trim for that price. He seemed upset that the plumber agreed to use my materials and discount the price. He said he would not paint the door and trim. I requested that the job begin on the 14th,15th today and tomorrow because I wanted to be home when the work was done because I had a bad experience with a contractor that had a key to my house but didn't do the work. I asked him to come and review the contract and it took a few days for him to respond to my email. When he responded that he let me know that he didn't get to read my last email and he went ahead and scheduled work with another client and he couldn't get to me until the 25th. I haven't heard from him.

I was pleased how he gave honest and fair opinions that some of our ideas would be very costly to us without the payback needed if /when we sell our house. George also found us a very good discount for the tiles we desired at a retail store and picked them up. Additionally he was flexible and sensitive to our schedule due to the fact that our one and only bathroom would be out of commision while he did the work. The work was performed with expert detail and high craftsmanship and good cleanup. Price was very competitive. I would recommend George to others.

George built a complete addition on my house and did an amazing job - he was quick, courteous, and most importantly, the final product is even better than my high expectations. George turned my screened-in porch into a professional office for my tutoring business. He tore down the old porch and built the framing for the new office. He then installed a beautiful front door with side-lites and a transom, along with 5 windows. George helped me pick out the perfect doors and windows for this project, which was great because I felt like I had full control of what the final office would look like. George's associates completed the electric work and outside brick work, and then George tiled the floor with a beautiful "wood look" porcelain tile. Again I cannot believe how smoothly the process went - this is probably the first time I've ever worked with a contractor without having any setbacks or unexpected things happen. George himself is extremely smart and knows what he's doing - not just from a building / engineering / tiling perspective, but also from an aesthetic perspective - i.e. he knows how to make the project look beautiful.
