They w ere very responsive, very quick and reliable. They are worth every penny and they are the best plumber in the area.

Kitchen sink had a small, obscure leak where it was difficult to identify the source. They came back twice to try to identify and rectify it. (no charge) Second time was the charm and it was fixed, no charge, since they stand by their guarantee of work from the first time. I appreciate that and would definitely hire them again.

EXCELLENT. Mike employs excellent people that know what they are doing and solve problems/nightmares (see re-plumbing comment) that were created in haste when the house was built. Mike gave excellent advice on the Saniflo installation. Mike and his team go by the philosophy of the other MIKE--DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME--because he/they do. I have used Mike in the past (replacement of toilet and water heater pressure tank) and have always been pleased with his work.

Mike Leonard's plumbing responded quickly to our weekend emergency plumbing call. The were prompt, and obviously gave every effort to fix the problem as quickly as possible knowing the after hour costs. The plumber, Henry, was professional and personable. As a new resident, we did not know where to call and relied on Angie's list and recommendation. I wholeheartedly support the other positive reviews and could not recommend this company more highly. They made an awful situation as best as it could possibly be.

Fabulous. I wouldn't use anyone else and haven't since 2002. The service was quick, neat, tidy, and thorough.

Went awesome! Plumber was great! We had four issues and Joe and his apprentice fixed all of our issues quickly and professionally. Both men wore their "booties" to protect our flooring. Both men also knew what they were doing so the project went very smoothly. Would definitely recommend them to everyone and we will use them again for future issues/projects.

It went really well. He was in and out in about two hours. He kept working as to not overcharge.

We were new the area and found that our new house had a leaking toilet and an unrelated burst pipe when we moved in. We used Mike Leonard on a recommendation from our realtor and were impressed. Prompt repair, still working well after 16 months. He also found us a repairman to fix the ceramic tile floor that was damaged by the moisture under the toilet. The floor repair is seamless and well done. I would trust Mike and his crew to come back again.

Mike Leonard came to our house on an urgent call on a Sunday. Our house sitter noticed there was water coming through our ceiling. Mike was there within minutes. He shut down the offending water leak. When we came home he arranged for a new toilet to be installed. The plumber who came to replace the toilet was very professional and cleaned everything up meticulously. We were very pleased. I gave them a B for cost - but really - plumbers just aren't cheap. Not really a comment on them compared to others. We HIGHLY recommend them.

Rob from Mike Leonard's Plumbing arrived on-time. He replaced the toilet and supply line first with no issues. He then replaced our garbage disposal. He successfully unclogged our drain as well. Finally, he replaced the piping going to the outside hose and installed a new hydrant. I was very impressed by the professionalism of this company. It was obvious that they were making sure the job was done right. They were a little pricey but I would definitely use them again.

The initial call was made on 10/5/2013 after discovering large amounts of water in our finished basement. At first it was thought to be a heating register leak (forced hot water). Our HVAC company could not find anything, then did a further inspection and determined there was a water main break. I called United Water, who promptly came out and shut our water off, since the leak was on their side of the meter. I then called Mike Leonard's Plumbing, based on the recommendation of the HVAC technician. They sent Joe out to do an inspection. He confirmed a water main break. He marked the lines from the house to the street, turned the water back on just enough to get some water into the house (we could manage the leak with a Wet Vac until the repair could be made. On repair day, the backhoe operator and their plumber, Dave, showed up on time and immediately got to work. The plan was to pull the existing line out using metal rope (no need to dig from street to house that way). All was going well, and quickly, until a snag was hit in the middle of the yard. By that time, Mike, the owner had arrived to assist. They tried two more lines (they kink/knot easily), but it was stuck. They dug a 4-foot hole in the yard and discovered a previous fix had been made using pipe clamps, which restricted the metal rope from going through. They cut that out and proceeded to remove the line in two sections. The new line was then run, connected at both ends, and tested. Leak fixed! Only issue which arose is when they had to disconnect and move our water softener. When reinstalled, it began leaking. They tried everything, but found that the O-rings (suspected source of leak) were a special size. They had to order. They returned on 11/11/2013 to fix it, only to find out it was still leaking. Dave then proceeded to replace the pipes leading to the softener, reattached it, and everything appeared to be fixed. Ran a regeneration cycle. Everything seemed to be working, no leaks. Until the cycle ended. Dave came back, inspected further and had to contact the water softener manufacturer (Morton). They advised that a known problem is in moving it, after having sat in one place (a decade in this case), the mechanism can crack. A new unit had to be ordered. As of this writing, I'm waiting for it to come in and schedule the fix. Through all of this, Mike has been very accommodating and is absorbing the cost to make it right.

Called and they said that it would be $85 just for an estimate. Really!?! I have found multiple plumbing companies that don't charge for estimates (that is what an estimate is, after all). There would have been no service done on this call so I can't really understand the "Service Fee" they charge. They are also located approximately 1.5 miles away from my house. If I were far away I can understand a nominal fee but that is way too steep.

We did not know where a leak was coming from so called Leonard's plumbing. It was easy to get an appt. The technician who came out was able to figure out it was not the plumbing and fixed our faucet. The owner came out on a different date to look further and was very accomodating and did not charge us for his visit. We would choose them again.

They have earned our repeat business. I call them, they set an appointment on the spot. They call the night before and 30 minutes before they arrive. The really deliver, there are no delays and no fluff in their service. They constantly update on the job while they are here.

Did an awesome job! Came quickly, did a great job and even cleaned under my washer. We have lived in four houses and had Mike Leonard come to fix something in 3 of them. They are always prompt, efficient and clean up after themselves. They are very respectful of the house and even put on booties. Very honest. I highly recommend them!

A faucet in the second floor shower broke today (Sunday afternoon) which resulted in extensive flooding. We called 2 plumbing companies we've used in the past with no call back from either one after waiting more than an hour. Suddenly I remembered Angies List and did a quick check and found wonderful ratings for Mike Leonard's Plumbing. We called and were surprised that the phone was answered immediately by a real person who said Mike would return the call. True to their word Mike called back within minutes, came out to the house immediately and repaired the broken faucet in short order. We are truly amazed by their responsiveness on a Sunday afternoon. 8 hours later the other 2 companies, who advertise on their websites that emergency services are available, still have not returned our calls. Mike Leonard's Plumbing will be our "go to" plumbing company in the future.

He arrived when he said he would. He repaired the shower quickly. He did some major work on a valve. He left the bathroom as clean as he found it.

This was our fourth experience with Mike and his crew since purchasing our home. We never had well water before and the homeowner before us did not install acid remediation on the well system. Within weeks after moving in, pinhole leaks started popping up here and there. First it was the master bath. Then it was a sink. Then it was the well pressure regulator on the bladder tank. Mike's crew was always there promptly and got the work done professionally. Key thing to keep in mind... You will pay more but you will get prompt, professional service. We do work with another plumber in the area when we have the latitude to let projects run longer. The other plumber's work is just as good but his availability is poor. With six trucks, Mike Leonard's crew is the SWAT team of plumbers. Also... Mike's solutions to nagging problems will tend to skew toward the higher end of the price scale. If you have a special project, he will always shoot for a more "permanent" solution rather than a low cost quick fix. This may stretch your budget, but you can be reasonably assured you will not come back for a second or third visit. His project management is better than other lower cost plumbers.

Our water heater had been damaged in the flood of 2011 but we didn't realize it. Our tank was running out of hot water and this was the third time we had gone back to Mike Leonards (after having very positive experiences the first two times). The guy came the next day on time and quickly realized the lower thermostat had rusted through; he replaced it and showed me the heater itself which was partly damaged and asked me whether I wanted to repair it or not.. He got through the work quickly and courteously and the bill wqas clearly laid out and very reasonable. We would not consider going to anyone else for plumbing.ater tank
